This South Carolina author has hit a home run with this fast paced, action packed story of murder and mayhem in and around the thoroughbred racing community. While on disciplinary leave from the Baltimore police department Fia McKee becomes an undercover agent for the Thoroughbred Racing Protective Bureau and takes us to the races in FL where she not only breaks up a horse killing crime spree, but solves the murder of her own father five years prior.
