As with each of this author's books, in no time I am immersed in the world of the story, completely losing track of time and place. Having read the first two books in the series, it was a joy to finally read Eli's story. Where Reese is stoic, and wry, fun loving Tag the laughter, Eli is the whole of the family put together. Isa with her beauty and snarky intelligence was the perfect foil to Eli's gruffness and attitude.

Throughout the story there is magnificent chemistry between Eli and Isa, added to that is humor, a rapidly twisting and turning smart dialog...and a deeper message that is not lost in its importance and genuineness. Layered around this message is a story that is captivating, with warmth, love and laughter interlaced with its importance. The heart rendering moments involving Eli's charity, validated what I've found in Ms Lemmon's previous books, her ability is in creating her characters to make you feel and provide you with an experience outside of your own. This is exactly what these moments did...the emotions are real and lasting.

This book was provided by the Publisher and Netgalley, I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

Love this series. This book was different in that one of the main characters was dealing with the loss of limb. I'm sure that made it much more challenging to write this books. Another winner.

The third installment of the Billionaire Bad Boys series features the last of the Crane brothers as he navigates his way back into his life at home after being honorably discharged from the Marines. His struggle in acclimating to life his brothers and father want for him make Eli Crane an enigmatic and equally magnetic characters. His story highlights so many great romance tropes: frenemies to lovers, military romance, and family drama. Jessica Lemmon's gorgeous third person story telling gives us a fully realized and inclusive look into the life of this former solider and the girl who cracks his formidable shell.

The Bastard Billionaire, aptly title by the way, meets his match in Isabella Sawyer. She's a formidable and perfect woman to go up against Eli's curmudgeon attitude. I admired her feisty strength and disengaging charm. The two of them made sparks fly. Their passion and chemistry left it's mark on the pages and made for quite an enjoyable romance. There something so innately good about the two of them. There was an instantaneous feeling of peace when they met that went so much farther than simple attraction/lust. The kinship and trust and they development is what true romance is made of.

My only issue with this book is the way the author chose to wrap up their story. It feels incomplete to me. The abrupt ending left much to be desired between these two characters as well as the series, in my opinion. I was expecting an extended epilogue or something that shows these three Crane brothers in a future type light. Maybe that's my preference for epilogues muddling my thoughts but I had so wished to see something just a little more of Eli and Isa.

Other than that, there's not doubt all three Cranes and the women who snagged them will provide you with great romance reading. One of my favorite things about the series as a whole are the protective alphas. Their issues make them vulnerable and Lemmon does a perfect job of bringing those to light through the lens of a perfectly matched woman. I also love her use and development of pet names for her heroines. These books are easy, personable, charming, and fun with mild angst laced throughout leaving me totally satisfied as a romance reader and feeling grateful for having the chance to fall for this series.

Eli Crane oozes broodiness and definitely gives off a "stay away" vibe. Having lost a leg while overseas fighting for our country, Eli is trying to adjust back into civilian life. Since he's been back his brothers and father have tried to give him the space he wants at the same time showing him he is loved. They really want Eli to take an active role in the family business, which is why they've hired an personal assistant for Eli. The problem is Eli want no parts of having an assistant, as in he has gone through 10, but lucky #11 just may stick!

Isabella Sawyer needs her business to make it! Sable Concierge, Isabella's employment agency, would greatly benefit with a big name like the Crane's as its client!! The alternative would be to admit to failure to her snobby and pretentious parents, which is absolutely not an option!! So when Eli Crane sends the 10th PA running for the hills , Isabella knows she has to take care of this herself to avoid the Crane's from firing her agency. Sooooo, Isabella Sawyer becomes Eli Crane's 11th assistant...who refuses to be fired!! The one thing she didn't ever expect was the immediate chemistry the two would have!!

Ohhhhh my!! I always had a gut feeling that Eli Crane's book would be my favorite in this great series, and I'm very pleased to report it was right!! I loved that Isabella had the guts to see past Eli's attitude to see all the beauty underneath his rough exterior. The sparks Eli and Isabella had was what initially "hooked me", but I have to say I loved how deep Jessica Lemmon went with Eli's storyline! I also enjoyed catching up with the entire Crane crew! The Bastard Billionaire is 4.5 star read every romance novel fan needs to check out! I am keeping my fingers crossed Ms. Lemmon writes more books in this addictive series!

Fantastic! A great story about loss and love, guilt and forgiveness, loyalty and courage.

Eli Crane came home from the war with the loss of his close friends and his leg. He is angry and passed and doesn't want to be around anyone!

Isabella is Sable's Conceierge and she needs the Crane business to open the doors to other companies. That's hard to do when Eli Crane is firing everyone she sends over to him. After number nine she has no choice but to go in there herself and handle Mr. Crane before turning him over to someone else.

Eli doesn't have a clue what to expect when he receives PA number ten but a brave, strong willed woman who stands up to him and hands it right back at him in high heeled shoes is not it. Nevertheless, she sparks some interest in Eli and that just makes him more angry.

When the relationship becomes more and more tense between them they take the next step but will it be enough this time? Eli has not been known for his relationship commitments. Will she run from the new him?

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

The Bastard Billionaire surprised me! This is not your typical romance where bad boy meets good girl and love blossoms. Oh no, it is so much better than that! Why? Because the author brought us a hero who is actually a HERO. Sure, he comes off as pretty moody and he is stubborn as hell but everything underneath this veneer makes so much sense. Gah! I loved him to PIECES! It's been a while since I have been this excited in terms of finding a new romance author to love but Jessica Lemmon has changed this. Thank you for giving me this wounded hero to fall in love with!

For those who love a romance that just feels real to you, pick up a copy of this book. You will not be disappointed. And if you are unfamiliar with this author, give her a chance! This book is so worth it.

I have really loved this series. I have read books 1 and 2 and while those characters are in this story, they have slight roles and this book stands alone.

This is Eli Cranes story, he is a former military man who lost his leg to a bomb where his two friends died to save him. He is struggling as losing his leg is a huge adjustment. His family wants him to work in the business and he totally doesn't. He has fired tons of PA's from Isabella's company. She owns the company and does not want to lose the Crane business so she decides to become his PA.

This story was great. Eli is a restless, cranky, billionair, which I absolutely love. Isa tames him and never quits on him which I loved. She has her own battle with her family and I loved how protective Eli was of her. This was a really fun, romantic and very special book about a man coming to terms with losing his leg and learning to move on and fall in love.
