Amazing, should be required reading for everyone I know, single or not. I wish this book had been in circulation when I was looking for Mr. Right. Such great advice!
There were lots of tips and advice inside, as well as different exercises to try. Some were for activities I've never heard of like chakra unwinding, sand painting, pendulum energy, and more.
I liked how the author gave information on his professional background and personal relationship experiences. It made it easier to relate and understand parts of the book.
I recommend this book to people who are serious about making a deep connection and moving forward into marriage with success and a strong foundation.
I enjoyed this book quite a lot! There is a lot of good, actionable advice in here. My only problem is that some of it is a bit wooey - there is an entire chapter about using the Spirit to figure out if this person is for you. The author does recognise this isn't for everybody, however, so you can just skip that stuff.
Don't Settle is more focused towards a woman reading it, I am looking forward to the male-focused version to see the differences.
This book was an easy read to the some-what difficult dating life in the 21st century! It gave me, personally, a realistic evaluation of what I wanted from a relationship and to be more aware of the people I interact with on a social basis. This book also introduced new ideas for meditation and how you can incorporate this into everyday activities. Overall I found this book a very helpful book to re-evaluate my dating life!
Enjoyed the first part of the book, but didn't like the parts about chakras, yoga, fire-breathing etc. Found the first part very informative with the marshmallow test, credit scores &how they relate to the man, relationship archetypes & which pairings work & the quizzes to figure out ones own traits. Until I got to the chakras etc I was thinking this was one of the best books I had read on the subject.
Will not leave a review anywhere.
Thanks for granting me access to this book
Very interesting book with a lot of tips but some of the lessons has a new age teaching, for example:
If he is not softening, but you feel confident in your ability to walk away later, check in with Spirit by testing him, using your pendulum or by doing muscle-testing. If you get a consistently positive answer, you can proceed, but if you get a consistently negative answer, trust Spirit and let him go.
