I will never look at the presidential candidates the same again!! What a light hearted book but thought provoking. From the debates to the election, Mr. O'Rourke's take on the events gives food for thought. Good book, some laughs on a serious subject. Good book. Truth really is stranger than fiction and P.J.O'Rourke lets us know just how strange the truth has been in the past year. Reliving the presidential campaigns in the company of such a smart, funny author is a real treat.

There have already been, and will continue to be, books written about the train wreck that was our 2016 presidential election. Some have been terrible, some have been right on target, but none have been funnier (and more truthful) than this one. If you’re anything like me, you’re worried about the future and what a Trump presidency will mean for us (lack of healthcare – especially for women, millions of dollars spent on a wall that is a monument to one man’s ego, whether we will have any allies left anywhere in the world, or whether you should start learning Russian) this book will expose the foolishness of our bloated beaurocracy and the arrogance of the 1%. You’ll just be laughing instead of crying for a change
