I love this author, I've read most of his books, and this one is brilliant. This is the first in a new series, and I can't wait to see the next one after reading the extract in the back of this one. Indridason is a wonderfully clever author and never puts a foot wrong in his ingenious plots. The Icelandic wartime setting add an atmospheric chill to this book, and Konrad in the present day, is a very strong, memorable lead character.
