This is entertaining, funny and witty. I love a good, fast paced book. It’s totally recommended for an evening reading.
This story about the youngest sibling in the Colbert clan is as fun and playful as it predecessor volumes. This one had a little different feel to it because the primary character was a young woman. Her brothers and parents were a bit over-protective, and her sisters-in-law accordingly acted more like aunts. But it was enjoyable to again see other members of the family interacting together. Getting to know the infamous were-doodle Janette was also quite entertaining. This episode had more in the way of actual outside drama and intrigue, rather than just the usual romantic angst. There were a bunch of twists and turns, that were fairly obvious to anyone who was paying attention, but that helped make it an interesting tale nonetheless. The biggest shock of this book was one that nobody except the family matriarch saw coming. But it did help lead to an eventual happy ending.
Fast paced and entertaining with a lot of steamy moments.
A romantic comedy with a hint of mystery.
This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. This book will keep you reading long into the night. This was such a great read and full of surprises. I am looking forward to reading the next book by this great author. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader’s copy of this book. The free book held no determination on my personal review.
I had fun reading this story, mainly because Anna is a delightful, rebellious, insecure, werewolf hacker who outsmarted a bunch of goons and a corrupt alpha using only her smooth tongue and a flick of her high-tech fingers. Ericson is a dear, a prize catch for all girls. There are a few things I can't quite comprehend though, like why didn't they smell their scent especially when they were intimate? I seem to have missed out on that one, because there was an explanation why Anna didn't smell Rory's scent, but nothing about the main characters. Another unexplained part was, what was Marguerite's reason for that little speech she made when she first met Ericson, when all the while she knew the truth?
Putting these aside, the plot and the flow of scenes are coherent, well-planned, and medium-paced. I love Anna's family, especially Robert.
If you're into steamy hot, instalove stories, this book is for you.
Thank you so much to Netgalley and Xpresso Book Tours for providing me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
this was a fun story right from the get go. It had a little of everything in it to keep you interested. Glad I saw this and gave it a try.
I love these books! They are fun, silly, and romantic all at the same time. There's even a nice element of surprise thrown into each one!
Remember Anna? Well, if you don't, then this is probably your first book in the series. While you can probably dive right in here, it's so much better to get the build up to Anna's book. Anna is the prickly, adorably gothy, mother-annoying sister of the other two mated dudes in the series. She always seemed like an interesting gal, so I'm glad we get to dive into her head. She appears, however, to be a creature of habit. She's got a bar that she likes and she's a bit shaken when it appears to have a new bartender and he won't serve her without ID.
Sounds normal enough, but these two really hit it off in all the right ways. Ericson (the annoyingly sexy bartender) has just the right blend of alpha man and flirty boy. He is definitely up to the task of taming the crazy Anna. Oh, and they've both got their share of secrets, so it looks like things are perfectly matched between the two of them. All of that explodes when Ericson's past shows up and he's forced to choose either to protect the girl he's rapidly falling in love with or be selfish and possibly put them both at risk.
You can guess how the story goes, but it was still completely satisfying to watch these two kick butt. This might be my favorite pairing of the series so far, but I really hope we get more from Anna's BFF in future books!
Humorous romantic erotic horror
This third book of the series has more romance and eroticism and less werewolf than the second one. I am not sure I liked the change. I picked up the book for the supernatural element and when that was prominent in the text, I couldn’t put the book down. On the other hand the book is humorous and well-paced. Nora Snowdon again brings the characters to life in this fast-moving tale. I recommend this book for anyone who wants a light horror read mixed with erotica.
Disclosure: I received a complimentary copy of this book via Netgalley for review purposes.
This book is sweet, witty and romantic with some twists in it with a dash of fun. I really liked the writing style as well as how interesting it was 😀
Big Girls Don't Bite (Dances With Werewolves #3) by Nora Snowdon is not as lite and giggly as the previous books but has more substance. Don’t worry there is still plenty of humor and love. Big Girls Don't Bite is Anna’s story. Anna is the baby sister trying to find her own niche. She was snarky and a total hoot in the previous two books. It was nice taking this peek under the snark. I think this is the best in the series to date. Bring on the werepoodle.
