Engrossing book with a blah ending. Not really credible as a thriller. Too many holes in the plot which seems to use travel on the autobahn for transitions.
Ellin is a grandmaster and this international thriller is him at the top of his game. Exciting, sophisticated , intelligent and sexy--they don't write them like this anymore.
I loved this book! If you've followed any of my reviews, you know how rare it is for me to give any book 5 stars, but this book met all of my expectations and more. The lead character was smartly drawn, and it was easy to root for him. There was not a hint of a need for suspension of belief, and his plans for revenge were diabolically brilliant. My only complaint? I didn't want to say goodbye to David. I do hope there's a sequel to this fascinating and intelligently-written saga. I'll be waiting!
