The cagulant by Jared Gullage.
It has been hundreds of years since the end of the Qwadro Wars, the apocalyptic time when demons rose up against the world of Trithofar and threatened to engulf all her peoples in death and despair. In the wake of these terrible days, the abominations of the Qwadro remain, the undead and the fallen, the vampires and ghouls.
This was a good read it didn’t like how they just killed anyone though. 4*. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book from netgalley.
I really liked this book. It was a nice quick read but a really enjoyable one. I loved the references to other gothic themes such as vampires and zombies, and the theme to this one was unique, which I loved because sometimes books with the same vibes get really tedious. Short and sweet. Definitely worth a read.
