This was a great book. I thought the information presented was well laid out and flowed well. I really enjoyed reading it and want to try and start implementing some of what I read.
I love interactive books! This one doesn’t disappoint. Thanks NetGalley for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review!
Sadly, I have read and looked at so many 'self-help' journals and this one offers nothing new. It comes across as an 'OK' kind of book but there is nothing awesome or inspiring about it
This is a neat way to get yourself in a better place in your personal life. You can accept some challenges and try and they can lead to more insightful living.
Find You’re awesome is an incredible journal to help on your journey to self love, appreciation and discovery.
A 30 day journal with different inspirations and tasks to help on your journey to becoming awesome.
Journaling is something I believe can help calm people and reduce stress and Anxiety. I will be showing this to my teenage daughter so she can do this journal herself.
Find your Awesome
First Thoughts after the Last Line:
How cute is the artwork in this book!
I'm no artist, but the ideas in this book are great.

I'll admit. On days when I have time to pretend I gather my colored pencils, pens, crayons and paper. I look at them with a "now what" expression and decide I need more. Soon our kitchen table is full of paper, scrapbook supplies, stickers, anything colorful I can find, glue, tape and scissors. The table is covered with supplies and the rainbow of color is staring back at me. I still ask myself, "Now What?" Then is happens.
I'm no artist, but I can craft. So with this in mind, I read Find Your Awesome by Judy Clement Wall. At first, I just flipped the pages to see all the creative, inspirational doodles and the darling illustrations Judy made of herself throughout the book. This book is delightful to look through.
The author introduces herself and explains the challenge she created for herself called the Year of Fearless Love. Then she gives the rules for this book, which there are none and next we're off to 30 days of Self-Love - 30 days of loving yourself and being creative and imaginative. Many of the 30 day challenges needed an artist's touch, but others just needed some thought and a pen and paper. I thought each day through, but didn't actually draw or doodle, well, nothing I'd show publicly.
With my failed attempts at art, I passed the ideas to my children. One of whom, has had her artwork on display for a competition and another doodles everyday in some form or another. They loved the ideas. Notice, I passed on the ideas, not the book. The book is written with adults in mind, not children.
If you are a doodle lover and or a wannabe artists, you’ll love this book. I would definitely NOT recommend this book to the narcissists you know.
Note: I received a copy of this book from the publishers for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.
Thank you Netgalley and HCI Books for an ARC in return of my honest review.
This book is a fun 30 day journal toward self-love. I loved the fun artwork and font used as well as the lovely doodles for the reader to complete.
The book gives a daily self-love practice to do over the course of a month, or longer if desired and at the end, the author encourages the reader to pick their favourite daily practices from the month to recreate their own self-care month.
I am looking forward to recreating some of these, I especially loved the idea of the personal manifesto and things to save in the fire.
Health Communications Inc and NetGalley provided me with an electronic copy of Find Your Awesome: A 30-Day Challenge to Fall in Love with Your Playful, Imaginative & Colorful Self. I was under no obligation to review this book and my opinion is freely given.
I am not a self-help book reader: in fact, I usually go out of my way to avoid them. However, I am glad that I was offered the opportunity to read Find Your Awesome and I intend to put it to good use.
This book is designed to help readers find themselves again, through 30 days of simple daily tasks dedicated to the ideas of self-love and exploration. The author talks about putting self first, that it is not shameful to think about your own well being before that of others. The 30 day list is easy to use, but is just a framework. Readers can make their own lists, drawing from their own creative sides and their own needs.
The biggest thing that I learned from Find Your Awesome is that, in helping others, we can find validation within ourselves. Kind gestures have a ripple effect - saying hi to a harried cashier might make her/him feel more appreciated and may change their outlook. Readers are encouraged to use this book like a journal or notebook, with pages dedicated to the reader's own ideas. As my copy was an electronic one, I started my own paper notebook to hold my ideas. I might not do everything in Find Your Awesome, but I feel that the author is onto something good. I like the idea that a bad day can be turned around with an act of random kindness and that unplugging from our various devices can bring the real world into sharp focus. I would recommend this book, or the ideas contained within, to all readers, as Find Your Awesome can lead to real happiness.
This book was so much fun and creative. I loved that every day for a month you get a totally different challange to open your mind and heart and find that creative side you may not know you had. You should definitely get this book no matter your age
Part creative journal, part inspirational boost, this is a joy to read. It's like a "you got this" note from a best friend - never cloying, but full of reminders that you are awesome, right here and right now. Don't think you're "creative" enough for this book? Don't let that stop you. Even if you don't do any of the prompts, this one is worth the read!
This book is part self-help, part journal, part relaxation aid. It’s also a whole lot of fun! Accessible with a strong message, this book aims to help you to get the most out of life, to become more fulfilled and to spread joy to others. It doesn’t ask you to do anything difficult, or to beat yourself up about things you haven’t done yet. It celebrates what you have and provides support to make small changes. And I believe strongly that small changes can sometimes have the most impact.
The best thing about the book is that you don’t have to do it all at once, you can spread out the activities. Or do them in any order you feel. You can even do them more than once.
I received a free copy from the publisher through netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
This is one of the best self help books I've read. Gorgeous illustrations and easy steps for changing the world and ourselves. I'm started on doing the things listed already and I suggest you do to. This does change us.
Thanks NetGalley for the digital ARC.
Loved the illustrations and font in this journal. Lots of positive ideas on this 30 day journey. Thank you Net galley for the advance copy. There were lots of common sense type things written in such a fun format that I actually took the time to do what the write suggested. Super cute!
While I received the ebook copy of this so I wasn't able to write in it and fill things out, I still found it incredibly valuable. There weren't many ground-breaking pieces of advice, HOWEVER, I think that the journal format, as well as the 30-day plan, will be very beneficial for someone in need of this boost.
I love a good daily checklist so the format made me very happy. As I said before, nothing was ground-breaking but it was written in a way that was very friendly and accessible so it didn't feel overwhelming to complete for the full 30 days.
Thanks to NetGalley for the free copy of this ebook in exchange for my review!
Find Your Awesome is a creative and fun activity book to kick start self love and creativity. The book includes a thirty day challenge that is more than just a list you see on Instagram. There is an explanation and reasoning behind each prompt as well as things to get you started.
I loved the challenge and can’t wait to share it with friends who are struggling to find their voice.

This is a wonderful small book to work with for at least 30 days. Each day she gives you another fun (and challenging!) exercise to try. It's inspirational and awesome. Regardless of where you are in the cycle of life, it is relatable.
A lovely book. A bit of fun that I feel shouldn't be taken too seriously. 30 days of being awesome....it makes you think about loving yourself and those around you. I like that it's almost a diary so you can fill it in. Would also make a lovely gift.
Find Your Awesome is an interactive book designed to make the reader realize just how talented, imaginative and, well, how awesome she is. There are thirty challenges and one can be completed each day with the intent to unwind, de-stress and reflect. The end result is an up-lifting feeling that will instill joy in your life while providing inspiration and motivation.
The prompts aren’t difficult, there are a variety of activities, and it’s fun! As you progress through the challenges, you will learn to fall in love with yourself and with all you have to offer. In a word, you will discover how awesome you really are.
Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing a copy of this book for review.
It’s weird that we grow up looking down on motivational people, books and media. I always cringed or laughed, but recently I’ve been really getting into motivational books and audiobooks of those books, and I’ve definitely noticed a difference in myself. I’m a very independent person so I like to discover this stuff myself because I’m stubborn, obviously (we all knew that already!).
Find Your Awesome was a perfect book for me. The 30-Day challenge gave me lots of ideas in which I can help myself to lead a more positive and creative life. I wrote down a few notes of things that I will be doing in the future, so I think that speaks volumes.
I definitely think that this is the sort of book you have to meet head-on. You have to put yourself entirely out there and think about the questions it poses, particularly if you aren’t currently partaking in the 30-Day Challenge. I sat down and gave the proposals a really good think, and I believe I’m better for it.
I look forward to employing many of these techniques and challenges into my daily life!
Oh, goodness! I like books like this! They are kind of self-help, but not like regular self-help books. It's not talking at you...wordy. I love that it's interactive! Has lots of fun things to do for yourself. made me smile a lot and gave me food for thought, I want to purchase this book as a keeper for my collection. it would make a great gift, too! Know someone who needs a pick me up? They'd probably love this book. Lots of useful and entertaining ideas in it.
