This is a great book for this time of year. It's a short, 30 days, challenge journal that allows you to find your true creative self and then allow that version of yourself to flourish for the rest of the year.
I started by following this book a day at a time but faltered over the month. I absolutely love the idea and can see this being a book you keep coming back to time and again when you need a pick me up and/or directed self-care.
I loved how the author started off each challenge for you by showing what she did and then leaving a decorative blank space for you all started and ready to go. I used the eBook version so I found myself taking screenshots of the page and using a third party app to add text through labels. Some of the drawing ones were more difficult though and I kept forgetting to do them later when I had time and paper. I could see this belong an awesome book to gift with a blank sketchbook or journal. It would be perfect to keep repeating in your own space as your answers would change depending on your current life. I could also see the joy in buying this book in paper form and scribbling your answers directly in the book... Although the pragmatist in me would want to keep reusing it and wouldn't want the old answers to sway my new thoughts.
Overall a great read I could see returning too frequently.
This is a 30 day challenge I really want to do! Seems like the perfect time to start a new direction, at the beginning of the new year! This activity book is perfect for anyone that is super busy with housework, a career, and raising a family! When do you take time for loving yourself? If you’d like me, you just don’t. I would be so much happier if I just did half the things in this book I know it would make me so much happier about my life!
Thank you HCI and NetGalley for this playful challenge! I am going to invite my blog readers to start this challenge with me in January! ❤️
This will appear on my blog Sunday December 23, 2018.

This is a forgettable take on a popular subject. The illustrations are childish, the prompts are unextraordinary. Not worth the time.
A fun witty read that challenges you to just let go of all your stress ( wouldn't that be the life)! It be better as a hard cover because its a journal but I made due! I loved what it was and think that Judy did great. The challenges were great and easy!
This is such a great book, especially for women who are busy and don’t take time for themselves. This book is a 30-day self-love challenge, encouraging individuals to do one thing each day that will stimulate their creativity and live if self. I received an advanced readers copy from NetGalley and looking forward to picking up a hard copy of the book that I can write and draw in! 5/5 stars.
This is a cute little book to help be positive and help others be positive too. You should buy the actual book instead of the Kindle because there are times to doodle and jot down some things also
A fun, inspirational 30 day journal with creative prompts mixed in. Designed to help people learn to love themselves, it offers different ways to let loose, spark creativity, spread love, and appreciate one's self more freely. This isn't a deep, soul-searching journey, so don't expect great depth from all the prompts, though some could get very real depending on your mindset when you do it. It is, however, happy, enjoyable, and very adaptable. It's available as an e-book, but do yourself a favor and go for the physical copy so you can doodle in it!
I really enjoyed taking part in this.
Some of the days challenges were things i already do, so I just did the next days challenge.
There were some really good ideas and I found the process thought provoking and character shaping.
I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is a really cute, fun book that directs you through exercises that are both entertaining and enlightening. I hope they publish it as a spiral bound journal so it's easy to work with.
This book is great! It's full of so much positive advice and activities! I am taking part in the 30-day challenge every day on my blog and every day it is helping me to think more optimistically and see the world in a different, more positive way. And the tasks are fun to do each day too!
This is a happy book. Seriously, reading it made me happier. It's designed used sort of like a journal--followed one day at time--with a new task to complete each day. But I was having so much fun, I initially read through the whole thing like a book. Then I went back and started over, and am following the tasks. I'm not really doing the one task per day---I'm more doing the "do the first task for a few days" thing and then add the 2nd task for a few more days. Some tasks I add on, some tasks I drop off, some tasks I keep doing. I'm only about halfway through the second time through, but I'm loving the experience. This is a colorful, cheerful book, designed to get you to take small actions to take care of yourself...bring out your creativity...love yourself...focus on yourself. That's really hard for a lot of us to do, but I like this approach a lot. Small little tasks you can do for a day, or a week or forever....I guarantee most will make you happier. I really loved this book, and think it's a great gift to give yourself...and an even better gift to give someone you love that maybe works too hard, or is too hard on themselves, or doesn't take enough time for themselves. Challenge them to give it a try. They don't have to finish it in 3o days or even 90 days... but start with the first task. And when that feels good, try to add the next one. Encourage them to try the next one....I bet they will end up happier, at least a little bit!
I received a free copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are entirely my own.
A good book, full of simple tasks that encourage you to be more positive and happy.
I had the ebook so couldn't do all the tasks shown on the book, so I would suggest the paperback so you can make notes and doodles, another option is to have a separate notebook to doodle etc.
Find Your Awesome is a super cute book that is funny and very well written, it's also very organized. This books description is 100% right on. Judy writes this book with 30 days worth of things to do each day. I would highly reccommend this book, even to people who have already found their awesome, because this book is so good. There may be something that you don't already do, and you would like to try it. :)
Find Your Awesome: A 30-Day Challenge to Fall in Love with Your Playful, Imaginative & Colorful Self by Judy Clement Wall was a quick and enjoyable read that I got to check out thanks to my pals at NetGalley. This one is in a journal/checklist format, and it provides challenges around self-love and putting more kindness into the world. I didn't obvs take the 30 days to do all the challenges included, rather I just read through to see what this one was all about. I really enjoyed the concepts here. Some of the ideas were things I'd heard before (but appreciated hearing again), while others were new and useful ways to put more good into the world. I also really dug the style of this one. It was just designed in a really fun way that brought some additional positive energy to the read. I didn't go into this one thinking I'd get so much out of it! I wrapped this one with new strategies for how to make my dreams more of my reality.
I really love this book. I am totally inspired to do my own 30 day challenge. Thank for the opportunity to read this!
I enjoyed reading this book. The prompts go from deep topics to random stuff like design a T-shirt. I loved the cute illustrations. This book nudges at your creative side and also teaches the importance of self care and self love. One thing i know for sure is you wont get bored following the prompts for 30 days.
I love the book! I did all 30 days and will do them again! I highly recommend it to anyone up for something new and something fun. NetGallery, really picked out a fun book here. The author isn't too preachy nor better-than-thou. She just is. And that's a really refreshing feeling after so many other books I've read and seen! Definitely a fun activity for all ages. I highly recommend everyone to follow what the book says even if it's just for once.
DO IT.
This book is a nice first step toward self discovery as well as self esteem boosting and being a journal it has lots of creative self expression. I'm going out and buying this book!
It was okay, but there are so many books out there like this. I might refer a patron to this if they were looking for something along this line, but it just wasn't for me. I am glad to have had a chance to try it though.
