It might be cliché to say that "love comes from the most unexpected places," but if you find it at your hometown, then it is not unexpected, right?

But, what if the unexpected is that the first girl who turned your head when you visit your hometown lives in your old house that you hated but yours anyway because it is your inheritance.

That is the situation that Special Forces sniper Colt Ewing found himself when he came back to Marietta, Montana after years in the Army. He saw Talon Reese, a single mom and veterinary student and he cannot get her out of his mind.

A little bit of mystery mixed in this sweet romance, " Seducing the Bachelor" is more about enticing Colt to stay than tempting him to join Talon in her bed. Granted, those two burn the sheets anyway, but that is just incidental. The main story revolves around what someone calls home.

A short enjoyable read, "Seducing the Bachelor" despite its title is actually about family. You will love Colt and Talon, plus the supporting cast. They all steal your heart. There is a little mystery that was still left in the end. But, since this is the beginning of a new series, I presume that it will be revealed in the next books.

"Seducing the Bachelor" is Rated T for Teens due to some sexual content which are not graphic.

Going back to Marietta, Montana, this time for the third book in the Bachelor Auction series is with a sweet romance that ended with some loose ends unresolved. Though that is a bit unsettling...unless closure comes in the next installment in the series...I still enjoyed Talon and Colt with their unique situation and the warmth that they brought to the story. There some heartwarming moments, along with a fast paced and moving story. You can't go wrong with the setting of Marietta...unless you leave the reader with loose ends.

I love Sinclair Jayne's male characters. Dark, broody, sort of bad boys with good intentions and hearts of gold. And her female characters are always inspiring; strong women ready to overcome every hurdle life throws their way. The same goes for Colt and Talon. The attraction between them is instant, explosive.

And each has a past. Colt has ghosts that haunt him and Talon has struggled every step of the way to get to where she is in life today. They quite complement each other but Colt has to let go of his preconceived notions about the kind of man he is, long enough to give them a chance. Completely in love with the way this book ends and a lovely little teaser to a possible follow-up story in there as well. Keeping my eyes peeled for that one,

Seducing the Bachelor by Sinclair Jayne
The Bachelor Auction Returns #3

Blew me away – loved this story! Colt Ewing is a book boyfriend everyone should meet! He is perfect in so many ways and yet also a bit damaged from his childhood and time as an army ranger. When he is auctioned off and given as a gift to Talon Reese by her friends it is an interesting situation for both of them. There is instant attraction BUT Talon is the mother of Parker and needs to put his needs first AND she just happens to be living on the ranch that has horrible memories for Colt. The month of leave that Colt has is spent on the ranch getting to know Parker and Talon better. The return to army life is not easy for any of them and the question remains whether or not he will return to Talon and Parker or re-up with the army.

This story really made me feel. I felt for both Talon and Colt when they were children. I applauded Talon and Colt for finding ways to overcome their childhoods. I loved the interactions between Talon and Colt and the way Colt interacted with Parker. I guess it is becoming obvious I loved this story. I have HEARD that Colt shows up in another book about the Wilder brothers and hope to find out what he is up to when I read it.

Thank you to NetGalley and Tule Publishing for the copy of this ARC. This is my honest review.

Talon and Colt sadly did not have a chance to simmer and marinate long enough for to really buy into their story and chemistry. Too much was given away too soon for me in this one even in just the first couple scenes of them when they met at the bachelor auction. I get that they were each feeling the insta-lust but who talks to someone they just met like that?!?! Talon was just so buttoned up and boring to me and although she grew some during this book it just wasn't ever enough to endear me to her. Colt was what I was expecting. He was a direct and dirty talking soldier but overall I just never felt their chemistry further than just sex and sadly that made the story really detached for me.

Talon and Colt have an instant attraction to each other....but both have had a rough life and Colt has feelings from the past that he has to overcome in order to let himself live for the present and future. Their romance is emotional and realistic. The characters are well developed and believable. Seducing The Bachelor is the first book in The Wilder Brothers series....this is stand alone novel but it does leave some questions unanswered and I can't wait to see how it all plays out. Let me stress that there is no cliffhanger. I really enjoyed this story and I look forward to the rest of the series. I would definitely recommend Seducing The Bachelor.

This story had so much promise. I absolutely loved Colt, Parker and Talon. It was a much deeper story than I expected, and I really enjoyed that aspect of it. The reason I only gave it three stars is because it felt...unfinished. There were still so many questions that weren't quite answered. I get that sometimes authors want the reader to make inferences, but with this story, I feel like it should have been wrapped up given that it was a standalone.

Wow! Seducing the Bachelor is Sinclair Jayne's third novel and boy does it show how she's developing as an author!
This book was hard to put down and kept me turning the pages until I reached the end. I loved it. Set in the imaginary town of Marietta, Montana, this is the third in Tule Publishing's Bachelor Auction Returns series, however it can easily be read as a stand alone novel.
Nearly everything about this book works well from likeable and believable lead characters Talon, Colt and Parker to a plot that flows well. The dialogue is good too, ensuring a really enjoyable entertainment package.
My only negative comment is that the copy editing is a bit sloppy. A bit more attention to detail n that area would have made this book better in my opinion. However, that s a tiny concern compared to the god in this book. Well worth reading!

Another great story set in Marietta, Montana. The story of overcoming childhood abuse and finding love and forgiveness is touching. I liked the romance and the interaction between him and the boy. The only thing I didn't like was the cliffhanger at the end with his mother coming back to town. It's not needed here and actually just throws the story off. Otherwise, another fun story of some familiar characters and storylines. Highly recommend this book and author.
