Devon and Morgan have been best friends for years. Now business partners, there isn't much they don't do together, and that includes their women. After spending the last two years at odds with one another over a past menage, they are reunited over a business opportunity neither wants to pass on. When Fallon, their childhood friend and crush, comes back into their lives things get hot fast. Fallon has been in love with Devon and Morgan for years. She was never able to choose, and soon she learns she doesn't have to.
Watching these three tumble through their relationship was captivating. Confession is hot, sweet, and oh so addictive. Menages are a tough storyline to read, it's easy to get caught up in the hot scenes, Calista delivers more than that, she brings us passion, characters that are fully developed, and scorching hot sex scenes. This is one book you definitely want to read. It's a quick read as it is a novella, to be honest though, I didn't notice it was a bit shorter.
My kindle is smoking right now this story is so hot! I loved how we got so much packed into something short and sweet. Fallon was awesome, a strong woman, back home to hopefully get the men who have her heart. Morgan and Dev...what a pair. They are so sexy and together...just wow. I loved the chemistry between these three, that they had a past of friendship. This book is everything a girl could want. A woman I wanted to be. Two gorgeous men who know how to treat her in the bedroom. Sexy times abounding. This series is so much fun.
A quick read that I enjoyed. Friends to.....lovers (eventually) tale that was sexy and rather emotional at times. Ending made me smile
A fast, intense and steamy read that packs a punch in such a short book.
The balance between the two men's characters was perfect. I liked Fallon but found her fantasies about her two friends alluring but knowing she is a virgin then her being kind of pushy (not sure if that is the right word) with the trio, I found that a bit out there. But lets remember this is a book and anything is possible.
Over all it was well written with great characters.
Calista Fox knows how to write a scorching hot romance. This is an engaging, sexy, short story dealing with three friends contemplating a menage relationship. Wealthy business partners, Devon and Morgan have been friends since childhood and enjoy sharing the same woman. When Fallon, their childhood friend, returns they discover she grown up and gorgeous. Fallon is now a sassy and sexy woman and she lets Devon and Morgan know she wants to explore a menage relationship with them. Devon and Morgan are conflicted. They are attracted to Fallon and want to be with her, but they also want to protect her from their kinky ways. This passionate story enthralled me from start to finish. I loved the dynamics between the characters and the explosive chemistry.
A wicked hot read! I'm really enjoying this series from Fox. Dev, Morgan, and Fallon's story is a fast, steamy pleasure. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
Note, I did receive an advanced copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.
Wow, I absolutely loved this novella from Calista Fox! It's got 2 hot men, gorgeous girl and great sex.
Devon and Morgan are best friends and business partner. They also enjoy sharing their women and up until a year ago had no issues with their threesomes, but after a drunk encounter and a forbidden proposition Devon and Morgan`s relationship has been at odds ever since. They come home to their flagship yacht club to meet about the option to sell and the run into their childhood friend Fallon all grown up in her own right.
Fallon has been in love with Morgan and Devon since she was thirteen. The two handsome men have always been there for her growing up and now they won't give her the time of day. Considering she has been gone for three years and is now back home a totally different women things are a little confusing for the trio. Gone is the mousy girl and in her place a gorgeous women. She has heard about the rumors of Devon and Morgan sharing their girls and Fallon wants to have her shot with the men. If she can get them to see her as she is now and get them to feel comfortable being in the same room together.
I really liked these characters a lot. The each had their own personalities that compliment each other when they are together. Ms Fox does a great job setting up this story in a very short amount of time which can be very difficult to do. The dialog was smart and the overall exposition was really well written. There quite a few secondary characters that did get a little confusing at times but overall it didn't take away from the core characters.
Overall Ms Fox is doing a great job setting up this very unique world with the different trios and their relationships. I am loving these novellas and I can't wait to read what she has coming up next.
Can one woman heal your heart? Devon & Morgan have been best friends since forever but a year ago everything changed and it almost destroyed their friendship and everything that they have. Now Devon is back and he wants them to sell their business and he knows that this will destroy their friendship forever but he knows that it has to be done. Morgan can't believe that Devon wants out after everything that they have been through and he knows that this is the end.
Fallon can't believe that both of her friends are together she has missed them both so much. Fallon was always the quiet mousy girl who was their friend growing up, she was in love with both of them but they never looked at her like that. She left home to grow up and she is back and better than ever.
The boys know that they can't break her heart as they could never forgive themselves but can they really have a relationship together? The boys know that they almost crossed a line for a woman before and they know that for Fallon they would but what would that do to them?
Can they go their separate ways or is Fallon worth it all?
A great sexy read. I received a copy in exchange for an honest review via Netgalley & the publishing house.
A fast paced novella takes us on a friends to lovers ride! Good characters, steamy sex and a happy ending! Must be okay with menage to enjoy!
Best friends and business partners Devon McMillan and Morgan Presley have been stearing clear of each other for awhile now. They used to do everything together, but after an awkward encounter during their last time of sharing a woman, they found excuses to stay on different coasts for awhile. Now they're drawn back to Bayfront for a business proposition, and reunited with their childhood best friend.
Fallon Carteris has been crushing on her two childhood friends for as long as she can remember, and now that she's done some growing up and experimenting, she's ready to put herself out there in hopes that they will finally notice she's an available woman! She doesn't know which one she likes more, but from the rumors she's heard over the years, she won't have to choose between them at all!
Will the guys agree to put aside their awkwardness and differences to have a one of a kind reunion with Fallon or will this be the end of their business partnership .. as well as their shared extracurricular activies??
I liked this one. For a short 109 pages it felt like a complete story and was well written. I did think Fallon was out of character for a virgin with image issues. She was pretty aggressive as she was seeking a menage relationship with her two childhood best friends. That seemed a bit unrealistic to me, but it didn't bother me enough to ruin the story.
I liked Devon and Morgan's characters. You got the happy go lucky Devon and the more serious Morgan. A nice mix if you are going to be with two men. And we get a little glimpse of Jack, Lex and Lily from book 2. ARC provided
This is a really steamy, hot and engaging romance. The character development is second to none and I honestly enjoyed it but it was shorter than I'd like, which is my only criticism.
It was an alright book. Fallon's character was so different for a woman who is going to be in a relationship with two guys. Her personality just doesn't fit well in this story, I had a hard time believing she was not after their money or what they could do for her and her business.
Zero plot or conflict. It failed to capture my attention.
Again, I should have read synopsis well, I do not think I will read a book by this author, I hate them, they are totally not for me. The book is based on a threesome if you are into that, you will probably enjoy, me not so much.
This was a quick read that I had done in one sitting. This steamy read is part of a series but can be read as a standalone read. The characters had chemistry as well as a past history and the plot was fast moving. I enjoyed this book from start to finish and would recommend this book to others.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.
Confession by Calista Fox
A Bayfront Billionaire Novella
Have you seen the movie Sabrina? This hot little novella reminded me a BIT of the movie except the two men in this novella were not brothers AND in both men got the girl rather than just one of them. Hot scenes, a woman who knew what she wanted, and friends that liked to share with a finish that made them all happy. I have to say that the story was SHORT so there was not much character development but if you like Calista Fox or want a mfm story to read quickly then this is probably a good choice for you.
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the ARC. This is my honest review.
3.5 Stars
in this erotic novella, fallon carteris finally has a chance to be with bad boy billionaires devon mcmillan and morgan presley. she's known them her whole life. and she knows they like to share their ladies. after some time away from the bayfront area where they grew up, she's devoted some serious time into becoming the woman of their dreams.
what she doesn't know is that something has come between devon and morgan, something so taboo they can't bring themselves to spend any time together, retreating to opposite coasts and ignoring their original bayfront property. they're only in town because they've received an offer too hard to refuse, and they need to talk about it. but the name of this book is confession, and you know they need to reveal all their secrets before things get all better.
the short format makes quick work of explaining the back story, even though we don't get the full details of what happened that one night in seattle until after the midway point, the secret isn't too terribly surprising. fallon proves to be the balm in healing devon and morgan's friendship, as well as their mutual object of desire.
this is a quick, steamy read. the short format means that you don't get a whole lot of time with these character's and their back stories, but the author does what she can to fill in the gaps. there's barely enough plot here for a novella, and that's totally okay, and the sex scenes are really well done.
I enjoyed this book less than the first one in the series. The relationship between Fallon, Devon, and Morgan was based on their past friendship. The novella format did not allow for their romantic relationship to develop in a believable manner.
