Confession by Calista Fox is a fairly short read, a great choice for people that don't have a lot of time for reading. Ms Fox has delivered a well-written book. This is a menage, with steamy sex, so it may not be for everyone. Morgan, Devon and Fallon's story is fast paced with fantastic characters. There's plenty of drama, humor and sizzle to keep a reader glued to their kindle. I enjoyed Confession and look forward to reading more from Calista Fox in the future. Confession is part of A Bayfront Billionaires Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book that I received from NetGalley.
5 stars.....two thumbs way up.......I really love the childhood friend into lovers storyline. With Fallon doing a complete makeover on herself so Devon and Morgan will take notice......and they do!!!! When the guys decide to go all in for a relationship with Fallon they even go to Morgan's mom for help....I loved that. No shame just love. Only downside it was over to soon.
Devlin and Morgan have grown up together, been best friends and shared women.. However, they have been on opposite coasts for the past two years due to a botched threesome that neither one wants to discuss. Morgan is now back with an offer to sell the business they both own and Devlin is furious. Fallon, their "little sister" who has turned into a stunning woman that they both want desperately, is also back. Unfortunately, Morgan believes that's a line neither of them should cross. Fallon disagrees. This is a fight to the end, involving friendship, lust, secrets and, ultimately, love..
“Confession” is a relatively short novella from Fox’s Bayfront Billionaires series, which can be read as a stand-alone (as I did, not having read any of the books from that series). It’s a pretty quick, fast-paced book with mostly action and less plot (as novellas often are). Fallon has just come back into town with a new look and has set her sights on her childhood friends, Devon and Morgan. Devon and Morgan, currently business partners- and often romantic partners in terms of threesomes, are back in town to talk about parting ways- both professionally and personally- after a threesome went too far a year before. The book focuses on whether Fallon bring them back together and get the relationship she has always wanted.
Overall, the pace is good and the content is intense/full of “action” if you get my meaning. The plot leaves something to be desired, but this is often the case with novellas where everything is crammed in a short space. I found my eyes rolling at a few parts, especially when Devon and Morgan were being a bit ridiculous, but I still smiled/liked the ending. For fans of Fox’s work, this will be a fun/sexy addition to their library.
Please note that I received an ARC from the publisher through netgalley. All opinions are my own.
I actually don't even remember requesting this title, but I received an email with a widget for it. I decided to read it anyway, figured it would surprise me. I figured out very quickly this book would not be for me. Not my personal taste in books, and that's okay! However, this book was very well written and it did flow very well. I'm sure this book will be a hit to those who enjoy books like this one. For my personal reading tastes, just not for me. I'm glad I was able to read this book though!
Fallon is by no means innocent, she has no problem asking for what she wants and needs. Devon and Morgan is just what she wants.
