I am a fan of the author and this book was well written. It is book 3 in the series and it easily stands alone.

I started loving this story, then I HATED it and then it got better. BUT when I said I hated it, had I not been reviewing it, I would have stopped reading it. It really started to gross me out. Luckily the gross part is only 20% of the book and it got better but that horrible grossed feeling never left me in relation to Tucker and so anything else that happened I could not love because I lost faith in him. This review will be spoilery because I really believe a lot of readers will feel the same way.

Now technically Tucker is not a cheater. He never cheats on his girl friend or on Elle but it didn't take away from the grossness of how he acts and the scenes that occur and how it made me feel about him.

Tucker and Elle are best buds. When they were 17 they were in love but then Elle moved and so the relationship in the years in between were just friendship. Tucker dated and even married Kara, who then cheated on him and he divorced. He has now been single 2 years when he gets a call from Elle in tears because a guy she was dating hurt her feeling.

Tucker lives in Kentucky and Elle lives in Nashville. But he drives all night to be there for her and they end up having protected sex. After Elle says she has a date that night and they should not confuse things and never have sex again.

So Tucker starts dating Misty who he has a month long relationship with and he ends up having sex with her and the book describes their sex. That was my first gross moment. Then Elle comes to visit him while he has Misty asleep in his bed. Thats when she says she is pregnant. She ends up alseep on his couch while he goes back to sleep with Misty and maybe even have sex with her while Elle is in his living room. Seriously if I bought the book I would have quit right then and there it was so awful.

Misty and him continue dating and sleeping together while Elle goes him and is pregnant with his child and I will be honest I could not take it anymore and I started skimming. Finally, Elle's father does, her abusive father and at the funeral Tuker brings Misty and she breaks things off there. He then decides to be there for Elle and they have sex. So gross.I mean seriously yuck.

The book gets better and Tucker and Elle spend the holiday together and thats when they decide to get married. And now Tucker claims to be in love with Elle.Elle claims the same thing. I really never rcovered from Tucker/Misty/Elle triangle .But with them living in two cities , how does that work. I am not spoiling the rest.

I hated this book. I would never read it again. Never!! Had it not been a review I woud have deleted it and never kept reading. Now I understand Tucker was going on with his life, but if he is in love with someone else, having sex and having to read about that was super gross to me. To go and cuddle her and kiss her and even have sex while Elle is in his living room was not something I want to read in romance book.

The author is a good writer and I LOVED the first two books. But this one I hated. Beyond hated and it was related to plot more than anything else.

I received an ARC of this novel from Netgalley in exchange for my review. I have read the other novels in the Nashville Nights series so I was anxiously waiting for the final novel in this series, and it did not disappoint. Jason Michael Tucker and Elle were teenage sweethearts who have spent the years since their breakup firmly in the friend zone. But that all changes one night, when he comes to Nashville to let Elle cry on his shoulder and he does more than wipe her tears. But can one night of passion trump their friendship? This was a fast-paced, steamy read that Erin McCarthy is known for and it I recommend you read the entire series.

Quick, easy, predictable read. The ending felt rather rushed to me. I would have liked some details about their life together once Elle moved back to her hometown.

I have loved reading all of the Hart siblings happily ever after stories.
Elle and Tuckers story is a best friends turned into lovers story. I love how surprised they were that they didn't just love each other, but was in love with each other.
