I've read every book in this series and have enjoyed them all. I love the setting, the well developed characters, and the evolution of the relationship between Verlaque and Marine.

Another great Verlaque and Bonnet mystery, starting with Antoine and Marine's wedding. A skeleton Is found buried in a shallow grave next to a fountain near a restaurant in Aix, frequented by the couple. Suspicion falls on the family of the deceased, as well as the members of a pro-nobility group, and the restaurant employees. A good mystery with interesting characters and the beautiful setting of Aix. Recommended,
