The cover threw me for a bit. I thought this might be more of a cozy mystery type book. This is definitely epic, (and I mean that in the sense of the genre and the length of the book). The book is love. Almost too long. I sort of felt that I could have skipped entire chapters and still figure out what was going on (sort of like a soap opera). Otherwise, the character development is dynamic, and I love the overall plot (adore good witchy book!) It just needed to be shorter.
