Who needs a guru when they have Manny, the world’s hippest Frenchie? The stress just falls away as you look are the adorable photos of Manny, his siblings and his friends. And for times when you can’t meditate upon his smiling mug, Manny has plenty of advice designed to make life better for humans and their four pawed companions. Needless to say naps and bacon play an important role. But there is also ample encouragement to treasure friends and family and do things that benefit others. Manny’s positive approach to life is contagious. After reading, Manny the Frenchie’s Art of Happiness, I felt energized and ready to take on the world one smile at a time.

I've never heard of Manny the Frenchie but I love reading books about dogs so that's why this book caught my eye.
Manny is a six-year-old French Bulldog, who achieved Internet celebrity via the posting of his photographs on various social media websites. He is currently the world's most followed and popular bulldog on the Internet. He lives in Chicago with his "mom" and "dog" and four doggy siblings.
In the chapters in the book, Manny offers tips and ideas for how to bring joy to your life. Along the way, he tells stories about his life, his family and his adventures. For Manny, life is more than eating, sleeping and going out for walks ... it about being a helper and spreading love. At the back of the book is a list of his favourite charities.
The book is humorous and there are lots of great colourful pictures of Manny, his family and friends. It's a fun book for dog lovers.
DOGS! Frenchies to be exact! So adorable! Yes, there will be a lot of exclamation marks in this review! I can't even handle all the cuteness!
These dogs are adorable. This book is so great. Full disclosure, I did not know about Manny the Frenchie's Instagram. Also, now I am following every dog I can find because again, DOGS! Manny is just cute. With everything going on in the world today there definitely needs to be more books like this. It is full of fun and happiness.
Basically, this is Manny's POV and he explains the life of a dog and how it is to live with parents that spoil and some rotten (although he is not rotten) siblings. Since I have five dogs as well, I can completely understand where Manny is coming from. I feel like he and my Bruno would get along quite well. Especially since they are both white with a brown patch over their eyes. Pirates unite!
The only downside was that I got this Arc in PDF form so I read it on my computer. That bit of a downside is very small compared to how freaking happy this made me. I loved every single word. Manny and his siblings are freaking adorable. I can't even begin to say it enough.
You need this book. Everyone needs this book. I hope my family knows that everyone is getting this for Christmas.
In short: Manny is great. His voice is great! I just love everything about this.
4.5 stars Manny the Frenchie simply rocks! He may have been the runt of the litter when he was born, but he's a huge star to me in the art of spreading happiness. Having never seen or heard of Manny before, this book had me laughing and smiling at every turn of the page. I do have to confess to being a confirmed fan of all kinds of bully breeds and having 2 kinds myself. I think the Frenchies are totally adorable and after reading about them and seeing Manny in all his splendor, I think I have to have one really bad now! They are so adorable and look how many Manny's family have in an apartment when I have 7 acres and just 2 larger bullies :-) Now I believe everyone should have at least one or two of these delightful French Bulldogs. So yes, you could say I liked the book. My thanks goes out to NetGalley and Touchstone for the ARC in return for my honest review.
I'm ashamed to say I didn't follow Manny on Instagram until after reading his book. How I've been missing out! What a cutie. His book is full of adorable photos of Manny and his siblings, and lots of words of wisdom about the important things in life: family, food, and of course....naps. This is a great little book that'd be perfect for any dog lover.
Adorable, just adorable, brought a smile to my face. I have to admit that I did skip over a lot of the text to get to the excellent photos but the text I read wasn't too bad. I love Frenchies and I'm a sucker for any canine writer.
I received an ecopy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an unbiased review.
I am in LOVE with Manny! This book is contains many pictures of Manny, his 4-legged and 2-legged family, and some of his friends, all in glorious color. There is some quick reading but the pictures are what really sell the book. If you have not picked up this book, do so NOW!
