I admit I struggled with this book and it didn't make sense until the very end. I think some readers will enjoy it though. It could be a better story if the author gave more insight to the resort as a whole at the beginning. Without the backstory of the heroine and how that tied into the resort, I felt the husband was a jerk and rather thoughtless. The intention may have been to keep the reader in the dark like the heroine but that didn't work for me.

I kept trying to decide between 3 and 4 stars for Blind Seduction and finally decided on 3 because it just didn't hold my interest that much. It's not horrible, bad, or badly written, I suppose I just couldn't connect to it.
Leslie and Phillip are going away to celebrate their 10th anniversary. As they drive along, Leslie becomes especially attuned to the sounds she hears, because her dear husband has blindfolded her and is taking her to a private, BDSM themed getaway. It soon becomes apparent that Phillip isn't planning on taking her blindfold off, is planning on pushing all her boundaries, and his. They meet a couple at dinner who they soon become friends with, and who will play pivotal roles in Leslie and Phillip's enjoyment, and distress, of their getaway.
Lots of erotic kinkery happens and Leslie learns much about her own role as a sub and Phillip's role as her Master. Phillip in turn learns more about his role, and hers too, and slowly and erotically, both their minds are opened to new horizons within their own relationship. I wish I could say that I enjoyed everything that they went through, but I felt a disconnect with the story that I cannot explain. Perhaps it's because it's so obviously outside my wheelhouse or because of the fantastical happenings, but either way, most of it just did not appeal to me, no matter how erotic everything was.
I think my favorite part had to be the bit of suspense that happens toward the end, and for an erotic tale, I don't think the author intended for me to enjoy the suspense more than the erotic, sexual aspect. Oops. Still, that's what I enjoyed, and it gave me pause. I should have been celebrating right along with Phillip and Leslie as they celebrated their unconventional relationship, but, unfortunately, I just could not get into it until the suspense happened, then I was all ears. Don't let my opinion sway you, though, because I think perhaps I'm just not the right audience for this book, even though I usually love erotic and/or BDSM themed romances.

Interesting BDSM love story
In so many romances the ending of the book comes just as the couple's life together begins. I really liked this peek at a couple at their 10 year anniversary.
This story had a little bit of everything, suspense, romance and sexy moments.
While some of the BDSM references were a little extreme for my personal taste I think the author did a great job with the story.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book which I received from NetGalley.

Wow this is a raunchy page turner ! Kind of a fifty shades married couple on a mini break at the ultimate sex camp getaway. It follows there anniversary trip away and also tells the stories of others they meet there. Kind of wish you there was more of a back story to the couple though so you cared more about them. But all in all it's a fun escapism book full of master / don scenes.

A 10th anniversary surprise for Leslie from her husband Philip. One that begins the moment he puts a blindfold on her and let it be known it will stay on throughout the weekend. This book was erotic, suspenseful, showed the level of trust between two very connected partners, where Philip leads Leslie to some passionate encounters and discovers how much trust she has in him. It shows that although they have been married for a while, that the excitement and fun does not stop there, but continues to grow. We also get glimpses of a few other characters as they tell of their story of submission or domination and disappointment.
However all is not just pushing the boundaries as Leslie's senses discover there is a threat directed at her and how this is resolved and the trust put back into not just Leslie and Philip but all those around her is simply astounding. When i started this I certainly did not expect this. This was not just a domination and submission story but so much more. I highly recommend.
My thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for a copy of this book which i have voluntarily reviewed.

Wow! I was really taken aback by this book! It started off great with Leslie and her devoted husband, Phillip, heading away from home to celebrate their ten-year wedding anniversary. During that seven-hour driving trip, Leslie was blindfolded, handcuffed, and had no clue what her husband was planning to do next!
And then this story took a turn...
This book was filthy and utterly entertaining! Regular erotica readers probably won't bat an eye at the content, but I was clearly unprepared! Sure, I had to look up some terminology that was unfamiliar and there were some acts mentioned that did not appeal to me, but I liked this story. Phillip was a great dominant! He was relentless in his role as Master, remained consistent to the end, and it was clearly differentiated when he was in husband mode versus the dominant role. I liked Leslie, too. She was loyal, sincere, trusting to a fault, and had a strong stomach, apparently.
Both had a wicked sexual appetite for ALL sorts of kinky foolery! Together the two complimented each other well and there was this undercurrent of mutual respect for one another and strict acknowledgement of the boundaries. I liked the way the author emphasized that!
►There was a little drama, a tiny bit of action, a ton of erotica, and some interesting sexual practices mentioned. I only wished the writing was more intense, but this was a great BDSM read.

I really enjoyed this book. It was heated but no too intense.

I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. A husband gifts his wife a weekend of erotic pleasures and their is an unforeseen danger at the end. Parts of the book were erotic and interesting. I put the book down several times before finishing it. It did not hold my attention.

This book is was very entertaining, very good love the cover

Dominant husband takes submissive wife to a sex retreat, blindfolding her from the moment they’re in the car and giving us the first part of the title. Once there the couple expands their sexual power games in small increments while listening to others’ stories. One guy wants her more than the rules allow.
Though I’m not much for the erotic power genre, I enjoyed this. The couple seems to have the perfect combination of adventurism and trust that only love can achieve. Leslie’s a fantastic character, from her desire for submission to her fortitude in escaping a kidnapping attempt. The subplot with the bad guy hardly seemed necessary, though it did show her strength. Had this just been about the sex it would have been just as good.
And the sex scenes were plenty good, including some interesting psychology into the Dom/sub relationship. A few times their games were interrupted by stories told to them by others, which at the time felt like filler, though it did make it easier to understand what the main characters were going through.

I really enjoyed this book, it was well written and i enjoyed the story arch. Defiantly will recommend this to friends :)

It is Phillip and Leslie's tenth wedding anniversary. Both into BDSM Phillip takes Leslie away for the weekend to a place where like minded people can enjoy their voyeurism.
Different scenarios are plaid out some good some bad but through it all their love for each other is the most important thing.

This was a quick, very erotic story. A husband takes his wife away for a weekend for their anniversary. It's at a sex retreat where anything is possible. He pushes her limits and his and ends up realizing just how special their bond and marriage is. There's a twist in the story that gives it just a bit of darkness. All the characters in the book give it a special touch. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy.

certainly a different type of romance. Overall good writing.

Phillip and leslie are a married couple and for their 10th anniversary Phillip decided to broken both of their fantasies on an extended weekend. During the weekend Phillip pushed leslie limits and was wondering if he went too far when she got kidnapped by a crazy man. In the end she knew what she had to do and she did it without any hesitation and what she did for others was amazing
This book was hard to follow but the story line is good
