Another good installment in is series. I was happy that Meredith and Donovan got their story. Plenty of action, but I would have liked to see a little more of the relationship.

It took me a second to remember Meredith was the one that was cursed by Luciana and couldn’t shift to a wolf, and Donovan of course is one of the Seven. And this book is theirs.

Apparently being one of the Seven and also an alpha of one of the largest packs, the Irish pack, is a handful. And finding one’s true mate to top it all, is just the icing on a delicious, yet busy, cake. Which is why, after years of being left to their own device, Donovan’s pack is unraveling. The pack bonds are going from bad to worse, and knowingly ignoring the situation, Donovan has made things worse.

Not to mention some things that have happened in the past are coming to bite him in the a$$. Going back to Ireland, to try and fix his pack, he takes Meredith with him. Which proves to be the best thing out of all the mess he’s dealing with.

Meredith is centering Donovan. She’s young, but she’s mature and very smart. She also has a very good sense of what a true pack should be like, and growing up in a very solid, united pack, Meredith’s senses are spot on in recognizing the rotten eggs. Mostly 😉

This is how Meredith finds herself awaiting the full moon ceremony so that she can finally solidify her true mate bond to Donovan, but also in the midst of a full on war within the Irish pack. Dealing with a Fey beast slaughtering pack members left and right, threatening Donovan is next, Meredith’s courageous steak is what eventually saves them all.

This story, although isn’t Tessa and Dastien (love them) is fantastic. It’s packed with action, young romance, rivalries and smarts. Aileen Erin did a great job telling an unexpected (yet fitting) story within the Alpha Girl series.

One more thing: each and every cover in this series is awesome!!! Check them all out.

I received this ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
I've waited for Meredith and Donovan's story for a long time. We have read about their bond and their love for several books...Finally it's time to get hitched!
The plot was nicely done, now I'm waiting to hear more about Cosette.

Wow... I'm kind of speechless. I knew the first time we met both Meredith and Donovan that there was something special there. The two of them just fit. We really get to see that in this book. I loved the dynamics and the outline of the story. Here were a few spots where it seemed to drag a little but the drama and mayhem made up for it!

*

They've battled crazy Bruja, demons and now... they've got a few things coming at them at once. Meredith is having a daily battle with her brothers, who are trying to toughen her up and make sure she is ready for the Irish pack. Cause, seriously they're in a bad place. The true mates are called back to Ireland when the is a death in the pack. Donovan's second is murdered and the pack in chaos.

The chaos is worse than they first thought. Vivian, Donovan's third, who will now act as second is three shades of cray cray but until they can "prove" she's gone mad they have to bide their time.

But when tragedy strikes again, and a pup in the pack is killed, all bets are off. Both Donovan and Meredith have to find out what is going on, and who is the one behind this. The packs bonds are failing... if Donovan doesn't get control soon... there will be more deaths and the anarchy will continue.

Meredith, the once cursed wolf is not to be deterred even when she is face to face with the danger surrounding them. She stares down the threats and is determined to take it down.... even if that means she does trying.

I've enjoyed all the books in this series and this one is no exception. If you liked the earlier books in the series you will like this one too. It did feel a bit short to me but I am also a really fast reader, I read it in a couple hours. While I don't think it was the strongest book of the series I still liked it, it kind of felt like it was just a peak back into the world sort of thing. Overall though I'd say check it out!
