Samson and Valetta are fun together, and for the most part I liked this one much better than the first in the series. You have wolf shifters, and magic, and obscure Norse legends all blended here, to make an interesting story. More details of planning and organizing would make a stronger story, and more on the bad guy would make him stand out more too. Would recommend this book, and look forward to the next in the brotherhood story.

Really enjoyed this story, Samson is a great character, appears big and mean but a teddy bear to those he cares about. This series is different that other wolf stories I've read and I really enjoyed the way their lives outside the pack was emphasized.
