A fun collection of several short stories by good authors. Liked Langlais's story best, but the others were fun too. A good summer read as it would easy to take along. Would recommend.

As I've learned to expect, a beautifully written and fun read. All three ladies wrote intense reads that make you not want to put the book down.

Three interesting reads. This is a 3 book set by 3 different authors that are not connected to each other.
This was a great book, I've already recommended to my friends.

**Trigger warnings necessary for 2 of the installments, spoilers for 3rd story**

Alpha's Mate by Eve Langlais: 4 stars: Standard fare for Eve. A fun romp with a bit of a whodunit plot. A light easy read.

Dangerous Passions by Kate Douglas: 5 stars: This continues the Feral Passions storyline that I LOVE. A bit of a trigger warning is needed as there's a new female wolf in the area that has a pretty horrendous past, but it's handled well.

Bound to the Wolf by AC Arthur: 1 star: I'm not finishing. 2 attempted violations in the span of 4 chapters is more than I want to read. Granted the first one was pretty brutal and sets the storyline, but the 2nd "oh she's so hot, I must touch her while she sleeps" is bullshit.

Got this for the Eve Langlais story and it didn't disappoint! I loved it!

2 stars

These stories are stilted and rushed to the point of being obnoxious. Way too much going on for such a short story..

All of the stories were well written and very in keeping with the genre. I wasn't familiar with a couple of the authors besides Langais but I will definitely be looking them up now.

Absolutely awesome! These stories were individually interesting, sexy and just call around great reads.

Alpha’s Mate: Vivienne was a city girl at heart and being kidnapped. The men had waited to grab her in the parking garage of the building where she worked. Someone wanted Vivienne dead and was willing to pay one hundred thousand dollars to see that happen. She had her hands and feet tied and then shot into the river. But then a man- Fabian dragged her down the river to safety even among gunshots. Fabian was a werewolf. Fabian was the alpha to the wolves and some cats. Vivienne had hit her head and lost her memory.
Dangerous Passion: Darnell knew she made a bad mistake. This was not the road to Feral Passions . Darnel had only been to trinity Alps one other time and she had been in the back seat trying not to vomit. Darnell could not get Evan out of her head or she would not be there. Darnell had been lusting after Evan for several months. And she hadn’t even had sex with him yet. Drarnell was looking for Feral Passions Resort which was home to wolves and very hot guys and the unique vacation Darnell had ever had. In her life. She had tried to forget Evan but he somehow got under her skin. Evan was a werewolf but Darnell didn’t know it.
Bound To The Wolf: Phelan was a werewolf who possessed every werewolf’s traits including the insatiable sexual appetite. Phelan had lost count of the number of humans and others he had killed. There wasn’t a family for Phelan only his pack. Phelan had this burning need for sex the last eight weeks. Eureka- a fury had put a curse on Phelan. Eureka had turned Phelan into the cold hearted butthole he was now. One woman could do so much damage to someone in such a short time. Phelan went to the club where the furies were before work and and watched the orgy. Then Eureka came in the room by Phelan and she was wet for him. Eureka was always wet for Phelan. Furies lot in life was to punish people by literally driving them insane. Phelan hated Eureka for what she had done to him along time ago, past the scar she put on him to the white hot pain she had inflicted on his soul. Then there were minutes when he craved her like his next meal.i enjoyed the first two stories and felt they were fives but didn’t really like the third story. But for the most part this book was really good. I loved the characters and the ins and outs but because of the third story this was rated only a four. So i do recommend but I highly recommend the first two stories.

HUNGER is a massive book which is actually a compilation of three different novelette-sized books (between novella and full-length) all revolving around shifters. I have to admit that I could only force myself to finish one.

Alpha's Mate by Eve Langlais is by far the best book of the three. It is the only one that didn't dump 20 names and several chapters of backstory in the very beginning. It's the only one that started remotely interesting at all. A woman is kidnapped and at the time her name is never mentioned. She gets knocked on the head and pushed into the river where she is saved by alpha wolf-king Fabian, but at that point she has amnesia. Though I thought it was strange, I liked that you go through almost the entire book not even knowing her name. There wasn't a single moment it was necessary. And the heroine was no damsel in distress. She kicked butt and was a good match for badboy Fabian.

Dangerous Passions by Kate Douglas was one I didn't get very far into. It started the ho-hum event of a woman heading back to a special girls-only resort to see a guy she liked who worked there when she gets a flat. The second chapter mentions about nine billion names, none of which I could keep straight and we learn that the resort was built for the sole purpose of male wolf shifters having a place to basically interview potential wives. *eye-roll* Next!

Bound to the Wolf by A.C. Arthur had a lot of issues I didn't like. In the prologue (which is really a chapter one --- pet peeve #1 ✔), there's an attempted rape (pet peeve #2 ✔). The victim, Marena is bitten during the attack and shoots her attacker/co-worker. But the co-worker is missing, not dead, when she's awakened by police. This supposed lawyer decides that despite the fact that she was found unconscious and obviously attacked, there's no way she could possibly claim self-defense because the bosses all like him *eye-roll* so she goes on the run. That's prologue/chapter one.
Chapter one/chapter two introduces wolf-shifter Phelan who is cursed to watch an orgy and jerk off every night. O-kaaayyy.... He gives pages upon pages of boring backstory about not only shifters, but also Greek gods and furies. Then he finds Marena who is going through the change and tells her that the only way she won't be sick is if she stays very close to him for a few weeks. Then he fondles her breasts while she's unconscious. All I gathered is that this book is about rape and Zeus. Next!

Oh wait... that was the last one.

My general opinion is that the book itself is worth the price of admission for the Eve Langlais story alone. It's long enough and good enough for the $10 price tag. I would only recommend the other two if you are already reading whatever series they came from and REALLY like those worlds.
Eve Langlais's five-star story loses a half star for the second book with too many characters and a bad premise, and 1.5 stars for the third book which I can only describe as "rapey".

Hunger was three books of unadulterated perusing delight. Every story brought something other than what’s expected. For example, The Alpa’s Mate was diverting. Eve Langlais enlivened these two characters that the association between them was valid and didn’t appear to be constrained. The story was impeccable, and the consummation was epic. While alternate stories have activities that will have you excited until the very end. Along these lines, I will prescribe this title to in any reader who’s into hot shifter romance.

Good anthology but a bit disappointing that some of the stories were previously released. For the price, I would have preferred all brand new stories. The stories are good but I had read them before. Good for paranormal fans and the stories are def four star reads.

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

This book consists of 3 novellas: the authors being Eve Langlais, Kate Douglas and AC Arthur.

The stories were all good, written well and the characters well developed and I felt I knew them pretty good. Plus it's the paranormal romance lovers favorite combo, a sexy alpha and a sassy woman!

The first 2 stories were pretty traditional, but good!, as far as paranormal goes but the 3rd put a little spin on where the shifter originally came from and introduced some Greek Mythology/ Greek Mythology has a tendency to confuse me but it doesn't take away from the story.

I would recommend this book as the stories were good.

Alpha’s Mate – Eve Langlais

3 Stars

Fabian is never going to settle down or allow a woman to collar him. As the alpha wolf of his pack he’s got a reputation to uphold and it’s a lot of work being the bad guy. When he rescues Vixen from the river after she was tied up and tossed in to drown, he realizes pretty quickly that she’s his mate.

This is a fast, fun, humor filled read that has a little meat on its bones. Not my favorite by this author but still highly enjoyable.

Dangerous Passions – Kate Douglas

3 Stars

Chelo is hiding from her pack. Trak agrees to give her protection. Danelle can’t get Evan out of her mind and has returned in hopes he has thought of her as well. This is a story with two couples and their own issues. I enjoyed it but I felt like I might have enjoyed it more had I read the previous books. There was a lot of references to other couples that did not move this story along and I found myself skimming these parts. However, I did like the interactions between each of these couples. While the heroes were not alpha (not even Trak the pack alpha) they were kind and sweet and considerate of their mates.

Bound to the Wolf – A.C. Arthur

4 Stars

This was definitely my favorite of the three. Marena is on the run when Phelan finds her. He knows exactly what to do and she doesn’t have any other choice but to follow him. They both have someone in their life that’s out to do them harm and together they try to find a solution to the problem. This had a little mystery, suspense, secondary characters that helped the story, a couple that acted in a mature manner and along the way had some hot moments. Wish I had read the previous books because I think they must be pretty awesome.

I was surprised when I was granted NetGalley access to ARC review this excellent anthology. I enjoyed it immensely! I wanted to read Kate Pearce's story as I'm familiar with her other stories. I've never read Eve Langlais or A.C. Arthur before. I will be finding more of their stories, awesome, just awesome!

Eve Langlais' The Alpha's Mate was smart, sassy and humorous at times. Loved it! Poor "vixen" get's kidnapped and left for dead in the river. Alpha Fabian finds himself acting the hero and saving her from drowning. She has lost her memory and we spend the story trying to figure out who she is and why someone is trying to kill her. We don't get the answer to that until the end of the story but I sure enjoyed the journey. They make a terrific team, both strong to guide his pack.

Kate Douglas' Dangerous Passions is a series wrap up story, tying up loose ends and finding mates for the last two un-mated pack mates that run Feral Passions resort. They guys started the resort to find mates since they wen't meeting them in their daily life. Worked like a charm except for Alpha Tracker and his deputy Evan. Darnell Deya was at the resort earlier in the summer and couldn't get Evan out of her very erotic dreams so she takes a chance and goes back at the end of the season to see if he remembers her...Oh yeah, he did believe me! Then there's Chelo who's opened a flower shop in town trying to run away from her former mate's BFF Rube. Tracker finds himself drawn to Chelo who's obviously trying to hide from an abusive pack. This story twists with Chelo's crazy ex-pack.

A.C. Arthur's Bound to the Wolf is about associate attorney Marena Panos who's been attacked by one of her firm's partners Davis who no one knows is a were-wolf after a big firm celebration party. He bites her while trying to rape her. She manages to shoot him while trying to defend herself. She passes out and awakens to him gone, blood on the carpet and the police standing over her. While trying to recover from her attack she ends up driving off in her car to escape after being warned by her secretary that they there is a warrant out for her arrest. Phelan, a cursed and loner enforcer for his Alpha, finds her sick from the effects of the bite and realizes he can ease her sickness by being close to her...real close if you catch my drift. I was captivated by this story wondering why Marena was attacked and watching them as they come to grips with the fact she is Phelan's mate. Neither one of them are happy about that thought. It takes the 3 weeks of her transition to wolf to get used to the idea. What a glorious journey!

I love anything PNR and I was intrigued by the synopsis of this book(Little did I know this was a anthology series) The first story had me second guessing my decision to read this, the lines were kind of dated and cheesy, with the exception of some of the sex scenes, which were good. I also felt the ending was rushed, which I get, but still. I liked the first story but not as much as the 2nd ad third. I felt the third redeemed the anthology on a whole for me.

~ARC from the publisher via NetGalley.~

This is the 3rd book of the Anthology of Eve Langlais, Kate Douglas, and A.C. Arthur. I am really happy that I was able to read these books.

~The Alpha’s Mate~
I was actually shocked when I read the last part of Catch a Tiger by the Tail, and Fabian got his very own HEA. I kinda liked him on Legal Wolf's Mate, when he was introduced...I was secretly hoping that he would have his own book. Somehow, beneath all of those gruffness there is some sort of sweetness. ..alas, there wasn't...

A lot of arrogance...but heck! I like it on him. I really do not know how to describe Fabian. However, his personality has a certain effect on you.

The woman? I can say "wow". She is one heck of an alpha female. Her personality matched Fabian perfectly! It like one of those shirts that is really meant for you.

At the end of the book, you might wonder...will there be a book four? Let us see.

I enjoy this anthology. If there is another book, I look forward for it.

*** I had read the other books in this anthology.

If you’re in the mood for some fun, intense and definitely sexy shifter romances, then Hunger may be exactly what you seek. Should you be in the mood for fun, snarky and totally sexy then Alpha’s Mate by Eve Langlais fits that need perfectly. Looking for something a bit wild, intense, with more than one couple falling into love and most definitely sexy times then Dangerous Passions by Kate Douglas is right up your alley. Do your wants fall along the more intense, compelling, sexy mates path then Bound To The Wolf by A.C. Arthur will deliver everything you desire.

The stories within the Hunger bundle do not connect with each other. However, they do connect with other stories by each individual author. Sometimes that connection is light, others it’s part of a series. I don’t feel that you “have” to have read the connecting stories to enjoy what is within Hunger – but these stories may entice you to go looking for those other stories to continue or catch up on what you found in this book. If you’ve read the earlier 3 in 1 bundles by these authors, Growl, or Wild then you’ll have an idea of what to expect.

Overall I gave Hunger a 5 star rating for several reasons. You’ll get three fun, intense, sexy stories by three amazing authors, that alone is worth a lot to me. You also will find intense stories that will make you chuckle, clench your fists or quickly flip pages to find out what happens next. Sure, there were stories that I enjoyed more than others – but as a complete book, this one is a well presented, totally enjoyable pairing of stories and authors that deliver good stories And that is worth at least 5 stars in my opinion.

I would encourage you to check out Hunger for yourself. After all, the only true opinion that matters – is yours.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

Hunger is another anthology by these 3 PNR powerhouses! Oh Eve Langlais makes me laugh! The Alpha's Mate is the story of surly, somewhat evil Fabian Garoux and the woman he rescues from the river. She has no idea who she is or why someone would want to kill her. Fabian knows that she is his mate but he isn't ready to make that commitment. These two have an inner monologue that is hysterical! One thing Langlais does well is banter and witty humor. These two are hilarious and had me loving them!

Dangerous Passions is book 2 in the anthology, written by Kate Douglas. A resort run by wolves in order to find their mates? Sign me up! I have always enjoyed the set up to Douglas' stories. I also enjoyed the added bit of suspense she presents in this story. The ladies are in danger and the wolves are having none of that! However, there are a LOT of characters to try and keep up with in this story! I needed a flow chart or something.

Finally, Bound to the wolf by AC Arthur is a bit beyond my usual tastes. There is a darker bent to this story that was totally opposite the first story in the anthology. Its well written and I think will appeal to lots of PNR fans who like their stories steamy.

Each story gets steamier and a little more dangerous than the one before it. If you like light and funny, stick with The Alpha's Mate. If you like dark and sexy, jump right to Bound to the Wolf! No matter what your tastes, Hunger will satisfy!
