A nice paranormal romance about a unique vampire and the wolf shifter that stops her from stealing one of his relics. In the process they discover they are mated or tethered. Chelle is a strong heroine who is searching for answers regarding her talents as a vampire since she was made through magic rather than a bite. Gunnar is determined to stop her from any danger that search would bring her. Even if they agree on the mating there is the fact that their relationship is considered taboo and would not be welcome by his pack. It’s a rocky road filled with more vampires, shifters, the guardians of fate, and berserkers.
I felt a little lost at times as this is a series and I have not read the previous books, thus the three and a half stars. I certainly think had I read this after the other books it would be a much higher rating.

4 - "Bite me..." Stars!
The fourth book in Kate Baxter’s Last True Vampire series; The Untamed Vampire puts readers right back into the thick of that action between the various paranormal factions, covens and packs, and the Sortiari’s perceived weakened position within that world.
This time the story plays out a little first mainly from Chelle Daly (Ronan's twin sister), newly changed vampire and Gunnar Falk, Alpha of the Forkbeard pack. Their connection at meeting is instant, the problems that will arise from their souls tethering as ‘mates’ are many.
Change was on the wind…
This is a series you need to have read from the beginning, there are a lot of POV’s in play now, what with input from characters that were the focus of previous books, as well as the villains of the piece adding their input to the story-line as well, and the depth of the story telling shows because of it, getting the plot development from many voices adds to everything going on overall, but it also lets you see that each and every one of them has their own agenda playing out at the same time.
She’d be damned if she let him get the upper hand. She had a reputation as a badass to uphold, damn it!
Gunnar is dealing with discontent in the pack, a merger with the Berserkers is being pushed upon him by his second in command, Chelle is battling to understand who she is after the way she was turned gives her some unusual powers, some that make her much stronger than a normal vampire. Her quest for the truth certainly made her dead-strong in her focus, some may even call her selfish in her pursuit, and I believe the line between the two was crossed in both directions at points.
"No one but you."
The pair of them are facing the difficulties of trying to integrate a wolf/vampire tethering, in a world where such a thing has never been known before, while dealing with all of the outside issues that have been steadily building through the previous books. And I like that the author has kept things moving along, rather than sacrificing the bigger picture for the individual couples having their stories told.
A little more is revealed in this regards, but again even more questions are left unanswered, which just leaves me itching for the next book The Lost Vampire; Saeed’s POV was included in this book and it will be interesting to see where the story goes with him as one of the main focuses of the book, I hope we don’t have to wait too long for its release.

A steamy paranormal read. The mystery surrounding a woman that was turned in to a vampire by magic and not bitten by another vampire. Chelle has been adjusting to her new cravings as a vampire and is still learning the limits of her powers when she meets Gunnar and discovers her mate is an alpha werewolf which is taboo and trying to save both of their clans. The story is fast paced with plenty of suspense and drama. You are completely escape into a world with witches, werewolves and vampires. I was hooked from beginning to end.

*This story is for mature audiences only. Contains explicit scenes and language intended for adults 18+
Synopsis:
Chelle is not your typical vampire. Turned not with a bite but an age-old magic, she is the only one of her kind and more powerful than most. Still adjusting to her endless thirst and lethal fangs, she is desperate to discover what sets her apart. When she encounters a brutally virile alpha werewolf, she soon learns that she is not immune to the mating call and her own primal longing
The leader of the ancient Forkbeard pack, Gunnar is stunned by Chelles lush beauty. The wild wolf inside him howls for her, but unions between vampire and werewolf are strictly taboo even if their clans weren’t on the verge of war. Desire has never been so dangerous but, as a malevolent new power rises, Chelle and Gunnar face an even more frightening threat. Together, they might find a way to save their clans. But can they claim their passion, in The Untamed Vampire by Kate Baxter.
My Thoughts:
I loved this book and this series. I recommend you start at the beginning as there is a plot that builds with each book, and a new couple is introduced in each book. You could read them as a standalone, but you would be missing out! This book is about Chelle and Gunnar! A vampire and werewolf, how delicious!
Chelle is intriguing and dangerous, until you get to know her. She has her own coven of two, herself and the dhampir Lucas she turned into a vampire. Lucas also has unique abilities like Chelle because she created him. Chelle is feared because of her unique and powerful abilities and even she doesn’t know what she is capable of. She is burning with the need to find out what she is, yes, she is a vampire, but she has so many questions. She has one of the three keys needed to send her on the quest for her origins. She needs to break into the Forkbeard Wolfpack compound to get their key. She did not imagine that she would run into the beautiful Viking alpha werewolf Gunnar. She immediately felt the tether to Gunnar and he felt the imprint as his life mate Chelle stared back at him.
Gunnar is a decedent from kings and Viking blood flows through his veins. He is the Alpha and he is feeling unrest in his pack, as his second in command and best friend pushes for taking sides with the crazy beserker warlord to join the uprising against the Vampire King and the Sortiari (self-proclaimed guardians of fate). Gunnar does not want to take sides, especially not with the beserker warlord. He doesn’t need any more problems, as he now has to figure out how he is going to explain to his pack that he has taken a vampire as his mate.
This story has intrigue, action, betrayal and a great love story between Chelle and Gunnar. There is some pretty funny banter between the characters. Chelle is an absolute smart ass and very witty! The chemistry between these two is crazy! There are plot twists, a parallel story running about the Vampire King’s coven that adds even more intrigue to the plot. Loved it and I can’t wait for more!

I love finding a new author or series to obsess about and the Untamed Vampire by Kate Baxter fits the bill. The paranormal world Baxter has created is lively, mysterious, engaging and down right amazing.
Paranormal romance is one of my most favorite sub-genre because it can give the author infinite room to create and put their own spin on things but it also gives the reader a chance to explore right along side them. Sometimes PN can become repetitive or unimaginative but I'm so happy to say the Kate Baxter won me over with her unique characters and complex diversity.
Chelle and Gunnar, LOVED them! Yes they struggled but in their world, being tethered or mated doesn't necessarily mean a happily ever after. Especially since so much rides on tradition and superstition. Chelle was, I think, the most conflicted by their bond. She was a vampire, but unlike any vamp in existence. Her need to know what she is and what she can do was a real fear. She was such a kick butt now ask questions later type of girl, watching her fear herself was emotionally gripping. Her single mindedness to find answers was a major obstacle for her and Gunnar.
Poor Gunnar, an alpha wolf with a huge dominate personality, teamed with a sassy, smartmouthed vamp was hilarious. He was strong, protective, and caring but I fell hard for him when he accepts Chelle as is, knowing that claiming her put her (and him) in danger, he never doubted her importance and never pushed her away. He puts up with a lot from Chelle but I think that it strengthened their relationship. They needed that outlet to talk things out, to be able to speak freely without filters.
Their relationship starts off rocky but their story was rich with off the charts chemistry, humor, friendship and love. I'm beyond curious about the past books and hoping to catch up before the next book comes out. There are so many characters left to discover and so many questions I need answered. So, if you're looking for a PN romance with awesome characters, butt kicking action and a HEA love story, I highly recommend this one :)

Those of you familiar with this series will remember Chelle from her twin brother Ronan’s book, The Warrior Vampire, where we learn she was not turned into a vampire by normal means, but by some ancient magic.
In The Untamed Vampire, we see Chelle struggling to come to term with her “differences” from the other vampires. She has powers that Mikhail, King of the Vampires, and former Last True Vampire know nothing about. She fears if these differences become known she’ll be killed or at the very least ostracized from her people.
Chelle believes she knows where she can find the answers to her questions, but to do so will require her to have three ancient keys, one of which she already has, the other two were entrusted to the care of enemies centuries ago. But Chelle is nothing if not a dedicated treasure hunter and her first stop takes her to the door of the ancient werewolf pack the Forkbeards.
Gunnar, the alpha of the Forkbeard pack, is prepared for anything when he learns a thief has broken into their stronghold. Anything, that is, except for Chelle. When he sees her, his wolf knows that she’s his mate. Simultaneously, Chelle’s tether activates and her soul is returned. While Gunnar and Chelle’s inner beings know that they’re meant to be together, tradition and pack law dictates that their union is forbidden. They’ll have to weigh the risks if they want to be together, for their mating isn’t the only thing causing trouble in the supernatural world.
I was happy that Chelle got her own story. Not only the first female vampire to take centerstage, but I absolutely loved that Kate Baxter decided to go a more traditional route with Chelle’s story and pair her with a werewolf. It’s been quite some time since I’ve read a vampire/werewolf story, and I loved that, for the most part, Kate Baxter doesn’t play with the mythos surrounding these two traditional supernatural creatures.
By letting our knowledge of vampires and werewolves suffice, the relationship building between Chelle and Gunnar could take more focus, which allowed their interactions to be full of quite the heat and tension at times. These two know that they’re supposed to be together. Chelle’s torn because her first goal is to figure out if her differences make her a threat to vampire kind, and she doesn’t want anything to sidetrack that goal. For his part, Gunnar is 100% dedicated to his pack, he’s alpha, top dog (pardon the pun), he struggles with adhering to tradition yet he can’t ignore what his wolf is telling him.
Kate Baxter masterfully sets up things for the next book in the series, The Lost Vampire, just enough to whet my appetite but never taking anything away from Chelle and Gunnar. Also, she furthers the storyline regarding the rising tensions between the Vampires, Berserkers, and the Sortiari. Sides will be chosen and battle lines will be drawn.
The Untamed Vampire, for me, is the strongest in the series thus far. Relying on more traditional mythology really leant itself well to the overall storyline and helped not to overwhelm the story threads that skew a little from what we’re used to. If I still haven’t convinced you about this book I’ll leave you with this: Ancient Viking Warrior Werewolf Pack. Done.
This is the 4th book in The Last True Vampire series and my first book by Kate Baxter and while I enjoyed it, I may have benefited from reading the other books in the series first.
Chelle is a magically created vampire, out to find the history of her change and the extent of her abilities. Her search leads across wolf shifter pack lands. Gunnar is the Alpha of the pack (and pack lands) that Chelle crosses. When Gunnar confronts Chelle, he's stunned to realize she is his tethered (true) mate. Unfortunately for them, Gunnar's tribe does not allow mating outside of the pack. Gunnar has to come up with a way around that ancient law while helping defend his territory against a pending war and help Chelle find clues to her history.
There is just so much going on in this story that you just need to read it for yourself. I think you'll enjoy it.

Vampire Wolf Troubles.
Book four of the Last True Vampire.
Gunnar and Chelle what a wild ride to find all the answers.
Good drama,action,angst,intrigue and passionate romance.
Really good book.
THE UNTAMED VAMPIRE is the fourth installment in Kate Baxter’s adult, contemporary LAST TRUE VAMPIRE erotic, paranormal romance series. This is Alpha werewolf of the Forkbeard pack Gunnar Falk, and hybrid vampire Chelle Daly’s story line. THE UNTAMED VAMPIRE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from previous story line is revealed where necessary.
Told from several third perspectives including numerous plot points and building stories THE UNTAMED VAMPIRE focuses on Chelle Daly’s search for the truth about her existence. Chelle is a powerful vampire; a vampire not turned by a bite or born into the life, but turned by an unknown ancient magic imbuing our heroine with untapped power that is slowly beginning to evolve. Searching for the answers to her inception Chelle finds herself face to face with an ancient Viking warrior-Gunnar Falk-the Alpha leader of the Forkbeard werewolf pack, and the man that calls to heart her. Gunnar is Chelle’s tethered mate-and together the couple finds themselves fighting a centuries old law that forbids the mating of vampires and wolves. What ensues is the building relationship between Chelle and Gunnar, and Gunnar’s need to protect his mate at the risk of his own life.
The world building focuses on the encoaching war between the Sortiari and the Beserkers. The Sortiari are an ancient secret society that infiltrated every aspect of civilization, and the self proclaimed guardians of fate. Two hundred years earlier the Sortiari attempted to eradicate the vampire race and were all but successful in their task. Someone behind the scenes is pushing for war; the Beserkers continue to destroy what is left of the vampire race.
THE UNTAMED VAMPIRE has a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Gunnar’s second in command Aren: the Beserker warlord Ian Gregor, leader of the Sortiari Trenton McAlister, Chelle’s only vampire progeny Lucas, and her brother Ronan, King of the vampires Mikhail Aristov, Saeed Almasi-a vampire thought to be mad, and an assortment of vampires, dhampirs, mages, werewolves, shifters, fae and beserkers. Chelle finds an ally in Jillian, a recently turned member of Gunnar’s Pack. Saeed and Cerys’s story line is next in THE LOST VAMPIRE (August 2017).
THE UNTAMED VAMPIRE is a detailed story line that follows several building premises, intersecting paths, and the potential destruction of an entire race. There are moments of heartbreak and betrayal; romance and love; action, fight scenes and eventual death. The premise is entertaining, suspenseful and impassioned; the characters are numerous, colorful and dynamic; the romance is intense, sensual and fated. Kate Baxter’s LAST TRUE VAMPIRE is an imaginative series; a sexy, enchanting look at the supernatural creatures we both love and hate.

Vampire fiction at its best! Dark and brooding! Just the way I love it!
his is the 4th book of the series. The author and the series is new to me. I was like hitting my self because I had to look for the rest of the books. From the Title The Last True Vampire it seemed so dark. And I was not disappointed. From how book one started, we are presented a dying race, where in the last of their kind had lost its hope. Odd mating started, but this? I was really entertained from the start to finish.
If you read the The Warrior Vampire , then you will have an idea how Chelle felt. I was so sadden on what happen to her. And yet happy. From the way, the Collective sounded, even i do not want to be burdened by the memories of dead people. Her ability? Those were the highlight of my reading moments. They were awesome and it helped that she is different. Her thoughts on love? Not so much. But as you read the book, you will gradually understand why.
Gunnar? A typical alpha. I wanted to strike him a couple of times, but you can clearly see that he enjoyed bating Chelle. It seemed wrong at first, to hide his mate, but given the situation? In his eyes, that was the best thing he could do to protect those around him. As I read the book, I feel in love with his persona. I am not a fan of bearded men, but i had to imagine him without it, and he is one hot man!
The best thing that I loved about is the Lore. Werewolves are created, not birthed. Ever PNR book must have their own Lore, and the way this series Lore is really good. From the creation of vampires to the rest of the paranormal with in the book. Having a good Lore is one of the best foundation when it comes to such genre, and this is series had a very solid one.
I gave this 4.5 stars due because of the continuity from the first book up to the last.
Another fantastic read. This is book four and although only my second time reading this author the story just kept me held captive.
What happens when your fated mate is not one of your own kind? Well Gunnar and Chelle are about to find out.
Chelle is vampire but something more. She is desperately trying to learn more about her heritage I guess you could say and that requires three keys. She has two but the other lies with the one who the fates chose for her. How to get it?
Gunnar is a strong alpha, has ruled his pack as his father before him. He has one though who wants to take it all from him. What is he gonna do?
This couple is funny, sexy and learn that together you win.
Well grab your copy and find out. This was a book I devoured in one day. I love when an author adds many paranormal creatures into the story and in this one we get Berserkers, Fae, Dhmapirs, Weres, Vamps and more.
3.5 stars
I've had mixed feelings about The Last True Vampire series so far. I love the world building, but some of the vampire heroes are just too overbearing alpha for me. I was really excited to meet the werewolf hero in this newest installment though. While he's still an alpha, the Alpha of his pack, Gunnar let Chelle do her own thing without trying to control her.
Chelle is actually more powerful than any of the vampires we've met so far in the series, but she's also unique. Because she was created differently than any of the other vampires, she's not only other but afraid of her abilities with no one to help her understand them. When you look at it that way, it's obvious that she wouldn't find her mate with another vampire. Gunnar has experience with unwanted magical transformation, but has had centuries to adjust to his powers. I think that's what made them a good match in addition to the instant chemistry that comes with fated mates. (I'm generally not a fan of the trope, but I think the way it's done in this series is quite interesting.)
But what I enjoyed most about The Untamed Vampire is the politics. The war between vampires and Sortiari has been ongoing throughout the series, but now the two groups are considering an alliance. The berserkers who served as foot soldiers to the Sortiari are rebelling and they're looking to ally with the werewolves. Gunnar wants to remain in neutral the conflict, but his power-hungry second is pushing to take sides. So there are pack politics at play in the story as well as conflicts between the different supernatural factions.
I like the different mythologies at play in the story. Chelle was turned by an Egyptian artifact, and the vampire creation myth is Egyptian in origin. She meets Gunnar when searching for another Egyptian relic. His werewolf pack is descended from Vikings so Norse mythology comes in to play as well. I would have liked to see a bit more of it though.
I also liked the way Gunnar dealt with his wolf side and the fact that Chelle perceived them as two separate entities. The internal dialogue between man and wolf can be hard to pull off, but I think Baxter executed it well.
What I missed in this story is the characters from the previous books. The heroes, Michael, Ronan and Jenner, do appear but Ronan is really the only one who shows any personality. Their mates are all mentioned, but I don't know that any of them actually actually appear on the page. Instead we spend a lot of time with Saeed, the third vampire that Michael turned and hero of the next book in the series. He spends most of his time lost in the Collective, the memories of every vampire that ever lived. One of the things that makes Chelle different is that she's not part of the Collective so the contrast is interesting.
I would have liked to have seen some of Logan's POV, the vampire that Chelle turned. He shares her powers to some extent, but doesn't seem to be troubled by it the way she is. Though it may be that she just doesn't notice since we've only seen him from her POV. I hope to get to know him better in a later book.
At this point, I think I'm definitely invested in the series story line. Even though none of the books have given me everything I wanted, I'm going to keep reading. The thing about a multiple POV series is that it's playing a long game. You get invested in the side characters and have to wait a while for their time in the spotlight. I'm hoping The Last True Vampire series continues to make it worth the wait.
I've been so intrigued by Chelle in the previous books. She's an extremely powerful vampire and everyone has been afraid of what she's capable of. Instead of being turned the traditional way, she was turned by magic. She isn't tied to part of a coven and has more powers than the traditional vampire. Powers that even she is not aware of. This makes her an unknown and unpredictable.
We don't get a lot of answers like I was hoping, but being able to read her pov in this book has made her less scary. She's just as afraid of what she is and what she can do as everyone else, which makes her driven to find the answers, no matter the costs.
This is where she meets Gunner, the Alpha of the Forkbeard pack. She is searching for the 3 pieces to a key and Gunner's pack has one of the keys. Chelle breaks into the packs home to steal the key and gets caught by Gunner and has her heart tethered by him. A tethered heart is the Vampires way of knowing when they meet their soulmate.
This is when things really start to spice up. Gunner's pack is very old, leading back to the vikings era, and stuck in old traditions. It's taboo to be mated outside of the species and Gunner has to hide the fact that Chelle is his mate until he can figure out how to get his pack to accept their mating. In the mean time, Chelle keeps putting herself in danger trying to steal the keys.
I'm loving this series. We have Alpha Hero's, smart and powerful heroines and an exciting plot that is building with each book in the series. Each book focuses on one couple but you see all players in each book. I would recommend starting with book 1. ARC provided by Netgalley.
I don't read as many vampire romances as I use too. I think part of that is because in the past that's pretty much all I read. A few authors I really enjoy so I still read them. Baxter is one of them. I really enjoy her writing style and characters.
The Untamed Vampire is the 4th book in the Last True Vampire series. Each book in this series just gets better and better.
Since Chelle had first been mentioned you really wanted to know what happened to her. The begining of her story plays out in a past book so I'd really read them in order. Then you finally know and oh boy...she's been through so much.
Who she is, is no longer.
Kinda want to know, right? Well start reading! Believe me when I say that Chelle and of course Gunnar's story is the best one of the series. Or at least I think so. Of course I have said that about each book as they come out. I can't help it, they do keep getting better and better.
We still don't know all that Chelle has become. I'm sure we might learn more in the future but to be honest it really doesn't matter. We learn quickly that Gunnar is perfect for her. She needs someone strong like him to balance what she is.
Their story moves on the main thread (another reason to read them in order) of the series nicely. I'm glad it wasn't forgotten. I really can't wait to see what's next. The best part is I won't have long to wait, The Lost Vampire comes out on August first.
'Untamed Vampire' by Kate Baxter is book Four in the "Last True Vampire" series. This is the story of Gunnar and Chelle. I have read some of the other books and I did feel that help me with this story to understand what is going on better. There is a lot of story going on in this book!
Chelle is a turned Vampire who it trying to figure out what has happened to her and the history of it. Gunner is a Alpha wolf pack who is trying to get answers too and protect his pack. But when these two meet they both quickly realize that the are mates. But neither are very happy about it at first and try to dance around the issue. But true mates can't stay apart forever.

This is an amazing and intense paranormal romance story that I fell in love with and never wanted to end! The paranormal romance genre is my personal favorite and I'm always on the hunt for a great one amongst all of the rest and I was thrilled when I found this one!
Chelle is a vampire, but she's not your typical vampire since she wasn't created in the usual way by being bitten. Magic was the tool used to turn her and as a result she's always been a bit different than your typical vampire.
Gunnar is a werewolf and the alpha of his pack. He's in a difficult situation since there's a storm brewing that involves even those closer to home than Gunnar realizes. Chelle coming into Gunnar's life at this particular time is full of the potential to go sideways in a big way and nothing's going to be easy for these two.
I loved Chelle and Gunnar for each other from the moment they meet. In fact, even the way they meet is precious and I loved it! Chelle has some serious spunk and I admire her refusal to take crap from anyone. Reading this amazing story has caused me to be a huge new fan of this author and I look forward to much more from her in the future!

The Untamed Vampire by Kate Baxter
The Last True Vampire #4
Action-packed paranormal fantasy with romance, adventure and intrigue – this is book four in a series that includes vampires, shapeshifters, dhampirs, mages, fae and more. Not having read the first three books in the series may have left me behind in regard to some of the storyline but did not detract from the romance between Chelle and Gunnar – a mating between Alpha Werewolf and Vampire. The supporting characters have no doubt starred in previous books of the series or may have their stories told in future books. All in all this was an interesting and enjoyable story and I would like to thank NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the ARC. This is my honest review.
3.5 Stars
Kresley Cole and J. R. Ward are two of my favorite paranormal romance writers. Who doesn't love a dashing, sexy vampire hero ? And when you add witches, demons, werewolves, fae and any number of other paranormal characters into the mix, you end up with a paranormal world that leaves you breathless and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I wished that I could find other writers that would give me the same thrill that I got from Ward and Cole. And my wishes have been answered! Kate Baxter and her "Last Vampire" series came just in time! If you love paranormal romance that is not only original and imaginative but also steamy, then you should definitely read this amazing series.
This is the fourth book of the series and I hope that there will be many many more to come. In the last book we witnessed the transformation of Ronan's sister Chelle. Not knowing exactly what she is or what she is capable of, she has been an enigma. Chelle also wants the answers to these questions. In fact, she is desperate to shed light to what she has become and there seems to be only one place that she can find answers at. The Ancient Library of Alexandria. However, she needs a key and that key has been broken into three pieces. Chelle has always loved chasing treasures. The more difficult they are to obtain, the better. She had entrusted one of the pieces to Siobhan, the leader of her former coven. The second piece is held by the Alpha of the Forkbeard pack and the third is held by the Sorceri. After retrieving the first piece, Chelle finds herself at the stronghold of the Forkbeard Pack. She is unable to steal the key, but she doesn't come home empty handed. She has found her mate and it is none other than the Alpha of the pack, Gunner Falk.
Gunner Falk is a werewolf. He is a viking and looks the part. With his hulking figure, long blonde hair, beard and intimidating tattoos, he is everything that an adventure seeking, danger loving daredevil like Chelle loves. And when they both realize that they are destined to be together, then all bets are off. They never expected this and both Gunner and Chelle know all the difficulties that they will have to face, but try as they might they just can't seem to deny the pull that their tether has on them.
Another hot and exciting addition to the series. Gunner is the perfect opposite to the daring and sometimes very immature Chelle. The chemistry is sizzling and intense. Fortunately there seems to be a couple more books in the future. I have been waiting anxiously for Siobhan's story. However the next book seems to be about Saeed and the mysterious red haired fae that he has been having visions of. It promises to be an exciting and hot read! Can't wait!!
Chelle is seeking answers to who and what she is ever since a shifter forced her into a magical coffin and she came out something very different. In her quest to find answers, she is caught stealing from Gunnar, a werewolf Alpha in the midst of his own plight of plotting packmates, war on the horizon, and the pesky little mate bond he discovers with Chelle.
While I read this without reading the previous works in the series and it worked well enough, I would guess that the earlier books provide greater detail into the background of the story. I unfortunately was not a huge fan of the two main characters - Chelle didn't seem to particularly have a backbone despite a few scenes where she seems to imagine she does, and Gunnar is overbearing in a non-attractive way on multiple occasions. While a lot happened over the course of the story, the plot didn't feel particularly deep and didn't particularly contribute to character development. It is an entertaining enough and quick supernatural romance read for all those interested, but a little too shallow and bland for me.
Thanks to the publisher for an ARC in exchange for a fair review!
