There are mixed opinions on this colouring book as it sets out to do a little more than the usual ones do. A small blurb accompanies the geometric patterns and some love it; some not so much. I like the spiritual aspects of what is described and I also like straight-line geometric patterns. For me the 45 pictures worked well.

this is a terrific book to colour. So many geometrics, easy to use on the ipad, can't wait for hard copy.

Coloring for stress relief is the in thing. Sacred Geometry Coloring Book by Francene Hart is more than just a coloring book. This lovely book illustrates the lines in nature with the principles of geometry. I enjoyed the introduction of each principle before the illustration and hope there will Ms. Hart will design more coloring books for those of us who are young at heart.

This is a wonderful coloring book and even better for those who love math! I really enjoyed reading about each design element. I will be purchasing and gifting this book to a few friends.

Francene Hart is a wonderful artist.
What I've realized however is that much of my allure to her art is her use of colours and blending. Let's face it no matter how much I try no colouring I do of any kind in this book would ever possibly stand-up to Hart's watercolours.
There are cute little descriptions on the left hand page beside the art you can colour and they are lovely; and might even give inspiration on colours to use or things to keep in mind with that particular artwork. Additionally the write-ups are the back of the colouring page so you can throw a cardboard piece behind each colouring page and likely won't care too much about bleed through on the other page.
I can't speak to the page quality as I did not receive an actual hard copy of this book; however, I'm confident it will be at least on the minimum 'colouring' grade paper used these days in adult colouring books.

One thing to note about Hart's work is that she uses a lot of dots in her drawings which don't make for nice sharp lines or divisions between areas to colour. Some people they may find this frustrating; for others maybe it's an opportunity to blend!

Overall this is a lovely little book if you want to be inspired by natural, fluid items that will challenge you to colour them. If you like your colouring books straight up and broken down into obvious sections you will be disappointed by this one. I could imagine pulling pages right out of this book (shocking right!?) and experimenting with more than just crayon, pencil crayons, markers or pens.
All-in-all I would likely purchase this book to try different mediums like watercolours, carbon, chalk, etc. on so long as the paper can handle it.

Soothing symmetry paired with natural elements. (4 stars)

In spite of the glut of coloring books geared toward adults the trend doesn't seem to be dying off, and with good reason. I've always enjoyed the act of coloring but it wasn't until the rise of the trend that I could pin down why—it's a lot like meditation without the trying to sit still and focus on your breath. Totally good for helping folks with certain mental illnesses (mine being GAD) and anyone who wants to destress. Most of my coloring books feature mythical creatures, nature, or have a humorous bent so I was eager to find something with more symmetry, more mandala-like but not another mandala coloring book. This book fit the bill perfectly!

I confess to knowing nothing about sacred geometry but I found the small blurbs for each page to be insightful. Most of the images are quite angular or geometric, which I find very soothing, but there are enough with more flowing or natural elements to keep it fresh and interesting. I particularly found the bees, lotuses, and celestial imagery to be beautiful and nice enough that they're worth framing after coloring. I do feel that I found a few of the illustrations had elements that felt a little dated but not to the point of bothering me. If you're at all into new age spirituality, mandalas, or geometric coloring please check this book out. Learning about sacred geometry is something I'm eager to do now thanks to this.

As I am reviewing a digital version of the book for bloggers I did not get to see if I liked the actual paper quality of the physical book so do please check reviews from actual purchasers too!

As someone who has always been interested in spirituality and art the tie in of these 2 was too intriguing to pass up and the pay off was well worth it. Each design was well created, enjoyable to ink and complex enough to take time. The write ups on each piece of art were interesting enough that I've read them all before taking out a colored pencil and deciding which I would attempt. Anyone who enjoys a relaxing evening of coloring, with or without the more complex ideas behind each piece, should buy this. Interesting information, engrossing artwork to ink and if the paper quality is good when it is printed this will be sought after for years.

Not what I was expecting when I opened this coloring book, but it is fun with detailed pictures to color. There is also a little bit about what each picture is and what it means. Now having said that, I would like to see the cover redone. It goes with the book, but I think it could be better and more attention grabbing to the consumer.

I am afraid this book did not make me want to colour many of the pages. It is a spiritual journey through colouring, but unfortunately very few of the pages appealed to me - those that did were very nice and provide much visual calmness. Not a lot of geometry, which is what I expected from the title and that is probably why I did not take to the book

Lovely adult coloring book. The pages of pure geometry are the best and most interesting. Those with people/animals in them are less interesting, but well-done.

This book was lovely to go through and actually more than I expected.

Not only are the designs beautiful, but they are sure to also produce stunning pictures, the book also includes concise information about designs and the title when I first read it seemed almost soothing.

The book is suitable for anyone to colour as is any generally, but this one may also help if you have a child learning shapes as you can guide them through what shape is what.

The shapes also have captions about them in terms of spiritual and healing, calming properties they have and how they cause you to feel and heal as well.

I am for sure going to add this to my colouring book collection when I see it in the shops, thanks to the publishers for allowing to review it!

The book comes divided into illustrations and a bit of explanation of each one, which comes prior to every drawing, and offers a sense of what is going on in the drawing, being a welcomed addition.

There are a lot of stunning geometry illustrations that are really eye catching and that you can see are gonna be really fun and exciting to color, but there are also some of them with very basic levels of drawing which somewhat lowers the overall sense/feeling of the book, IMO.

I would recommned this book for those who are into geometric designs, mandalas and angelic/religious stuff as all of this can be found on this book.

Ok coloring book with pictures to color along with a little about the symbols the pictures represent, OK selection of things to color. This is better viewed on the Bluefire app, Kindle does not show the pictures that are associated with the different categories. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and publisher for the advanced reading copy of this publication in return for my honest review.

I liked the thought behind the book as colouring for be is a meditative activity but I google a few of the colouring pages themselves as I don't think I would do them. Some are too detailed I like strong lined geometric patterns, a bit like those on the front cover, but a majority were not like this so it would be a little misleading
