Looking for one to fill my need for special ops and hot to handle alphas I opened this one. This is one that is in a series that has lots of experience in special missions with many characters that tell each story. In this one it centers around Dagan and Chelsea, but of course they are not alone. She was in a op that goes bust with needing to be pulled out. By the time you do reach this point you are ready for the duration because you know this is about to get sticky and sweet along with the hot. The drama will be like a crescendo with stillness in between. Right when you think they could have no more it rolls again with at times the heat pushing it along. Romance is in the right places with it pulling a sigh or too from the reader. This author will have mercy and wrap this up with a sweet savory taste.

Fuel for Fire by Julie Ann Walker is book 10 in the Black Knights Inc. Series. This book focuses on Chelsea & Dagan. This is a wonderful book that is well written and has an amazing cast of characters. Full of suspense, intrigue, sexual tension and witty banter you are sure to be engrossed and entertained. Julie Ann Walker has written another exceptional book and I highly recommend it. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

Dagan and Chelsea both worked for the CIA for years. Both were immediately attracted to each other. Both denied that attraction. Both were fired from the CIA over the same mission. Dagan because he walked into a set-up. Chelsea because she found out vital intel, told her boss and was blackmailed into keeping quiet about it. Both are now working for Black Knights, inc. They are both working to take down the leader of a worldwide illegal operation, which includes sex trafficking, money laundering, drugs and murder. When Chelsea is caught downloading info from the computer of her "boss", the BKI team goes into action in order to find her and keep her safe.
Chelsea and Dagan are, literally, thrown together while trying to escape England. The heat between these two is sizzling and undeniable but, they both keep fighting their feelings every step of the way. I also loved the heat between Emily & Christian and, especially between Ace and Rusty!!!
This is a fast-paced, action-packed, STEAMY storyline that you will not want to put down!!!

First, let me just say that I love this cover! It makes me want to buy the paperback so I can admire it. Great cover, Great story! I've never read Julie Ann Walker and was hoping to find another author to add to my list of reads and I think I succeeded.

I dove head first into the middle of another series and thankfully it paid off. I wasn't lost. Yes, you could tell the author was picking up where they left off in the previous story, but I understood what the story was about right in the beginning. There are several characters, but not so many that I couldn't keep up.

I would classify this as heavy on the action/suspense, but still with a good dose of romance. In fact, I got to see two potential couples in this book instead of one.

I enjoyed the interaction with both couples. Their banter was silly but fun, more of them picking on each other until they finally admitted to their feelings. Some may view it as a bit immature but I think it kept it light and fun in the middle of a suspenseful plot.

I'm looking forward to going back and starting at book 1. ARC provided by NetGalley.

Fuel for Fire is a fast pace, suspense- filled, sexy romance and I loved it! Julie Ann Walker has another great story to add to the Black Knight Inc. series with two main characters that are smitten with each other but also bring out the worst in each other. Ex-CIA agent Dagan Zoehler now works for BKI and makes a point every chance he can get to let Chelsea Duvall know she’s in over her head with an undercover job. Of course that gets her ire up and wants to prove him wrong. When the mission goes awry and they find themselves in danger and unable to leave the country, it compels them to express how they really feel. Unfortunately Chelsea has a secret about Dagan that will change everything once it’s revealed. Should she tell him or keep her mouth shut?

Chelsea is a hard worker and takes her job seriously, especially when her job at Langley put her in an impossible situation. She loves her family and she hopes Dagan will understand when all is revealed. The heat and sparring between her and Dagan was off the charts you can feel it on every page. Dagan worked with Chelsea and feels she isn’t cut out for this dangerous mission but she proves him wrong time and time again, which only increases his love and respect for her. These two have it bad and when they finally get together; we all say it’s about time!

Fuel for Fire has a nice balance of suspense and flirty sexiness to make this a story hard to put down. BKI is going through some changes and it is good to see the remaining members of the team play a part in this story and makes me wonder what is going to happen with another agent and the BKI manager. Enough is written to get your mind wondering and leave you wanting more. Let’s just hope there are more stories to come because I’m not ready for this sweet ride to end.

Fuel for Fire is a thrill ride in more ways than one. Julie Ann Walker has created complex characters that are easy to relate to. Then she follows it up with a intrigue and action that keeps the story moving. Don't forget all the twists and turns she throws in, you know, just because she can.

So what happens when 3 alpha males and 2 strong women share a small flat in London for too long? The best snarky one liners and one upmanship (or in this case woman-upship) that I can remember reading in a long time. I literally snorted, chuckled and yes, even laughed out loud more than once while reading Fuel for Fire.

But don't be fooled or side tracked though, Walker isn't afraid to put her characters through the wringer. She expertly uses these scenes to break or heighten the tension as needed. Dagan finally hits his breaking point and gives into his desire for Chelsea. For Chels, it's both a blessing and a curse. She's loved Dagan for years, but the Big Bad Secret will destroy any chance of something together. It was so much better before she knew he loved her too.

Oh and while this is going on, BKI is working on tracking down the Spider and is being hunted along the English coast line, looking for a way across the English Channel.

My recommendation is to not start this book too late in the evening, because if you do, you will be up WAY past your bedtime! I know this from personal experience.

When a CIA agent’s cover gets blown on a covert operation, her friends (and ex-Navy SEALs) the Black Nights come to her rescue, but getting her out of England in one piece is going to be harder than they expected. This book is great fun. There is enough action and adventure to keep thrill junkies like me interested, and enough heat between the CIA agent and one of the SEALs to keep romance readers screaming for more. So far, I think this is probably my favorite of the Black Nights series from Julieann Walker.

I have read most of the books in this series, and have loved each and every one of them. This one is no different.
As with other BKI stories, the characters and story are complex, the chemistry between the main characters, Dayan Zoelner and Chelsea Duvall is off the charts, the suspense is non-stop, and the emotions the book elicits, makes it one of the best of the series.
I love seeing Chelsea portrayed as a bright and strong female . Both Chelsea and Dagan are filled with regrets and secrets, especially Chelsea.
Another winner by this talented author.
I was gifted this copy by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Fuel for Fire is the latest addition to the Black Nights series and like the rest is a whole lot of action, adventure and love. I like Chelsea she is strong, smart and sweet. She has a secret that is keeping her from being totally honest with the man, Dagan “Z” Zoelner she has lusted after for years. Now on an operation in England she finds out under fire that he lusts after her too. When they act upon it it is explosive. Will her secret keep them from making it work long term? Find out in this exciting story.

Walker knows how to deliver a fast paced action with a bit of romance! Chelsea and Dagan are on the run after an undercover op goes a bit left. Unfortunately, this is my first Black Knights books and I get the impression that each book carries it's own romantic story but the suspenseful portion continues through the series. I wasn't sure who these characters were and what the Black Knights were about but I was never confused or lost. It's obvious Chelsea and Dagan have chemistry, as well as bantering history, but with all the chaos somebody finally acts on that tension. They have been trying to find the identity of Spider, which I'm assuming is from the previous books, when they are running for their lives. The scenes are cleverly written with details, snippy and sexual banter, and a few flashbacks to understand the Big Secret Chelsea is hiding. The book left me wanting to start the series, get into a gunfight and find a hot muscled body to get cozy with in a submarine. My adrenaline is on a fast rush! I received an early copy through Netgalley, was never compensated and wrote this review voluntarily.

Fuel for Fire, the latest in Julie Ann Walker’s Black Knights, Inc. series, is the long awaited story of Dagan and Chelsea. The CIA agents have been circling around each other for years. A hallmark of Walker’s writing, this novel is filled with sexy banter, lots of action, and a plausible storyline. The majority of the novel takes place in London, so there aren’t many glimpses of the full BKI crew. However, we do get to see more of Christian and Emily, in preparation for their story later this year. I did have a minute of déjà vu at the end when it seemed as if Becky had the same conversation with Dagan as she did with Ozzie at the end of his book. As always, I love Walker’s books and overall this one didn’t disappoint.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.

I loved this book as much as everything Julie Ann Walker writes.I loved the characters in this Black Knights series,They seemed so alive.Chelsea is keeping a big secret from Dagan whom she has had feelings for for years. He has no idea how she feels, but when he's sent on a mission to save her boy do the sparks fly.I loved the things that Chelsea says that are Southern,it just makes her so funny. The rest of the characters on the mission really brought depth and realism to the story.Chelsea eventually tells Dagan her secret after a very harrowing adventure and for a while I was left hanging if he was going to forgive her.I won't give that away but I really loved the book.

Dagan has strong feelings for Chelsea but hasn't acted on them because he feels that he doesn't have anything to offer her. Can Chelsea be rescued? Will either Dagan or Chelsea admit their feelings? Black Knights Inc., has been my favorite series from the very first book. I love the characters and their stories! This military series keeps you guessing from first to last page. The characters and story are unique, rich, bold, mysterious, compelling, complex, honest, raw, real, smokin' hot, flawed, and down to earth. I'm thrilled with this series and author. I look forward to my next adventure with this author until then Happy Reading!

Take unrequited attraction of huge proportions and then tie in the titles of the last 9 Black Knights Inc novels to the romance and suspense of the latest entry and you have the bright and burning fuel to light the fire under Chelsea and Dagan. Hot and spicy!

We start this book over in England, with BKI member's we haven't spent a lot of time with, but they've been around. By the end of the story, we have we have a new character and two more couples lined to take the fall

Dagan has always been around, hasn't he? It seems like he was there, the good guy, a bad guy, a reformed guy, drinking buddy, and all around staple in the story. His story wasn't going to be simple, because the man himself has never been simple. He doesn't realize that though, he thinks, once he decides, that it should be simple. Life rarely goes according to his plan, so I'm not sure why he is shocked with the twists and turns that happen

Chelsea is so sassy sweet, you want to cheer for her while you are giving her a hug. She has her own internal battles when it comes to Dagan, and the darn man wants everything so simple. She knows it is complicated, and needs to let him. When things finally are complicated, her worst fears come true, but she won't give up. Her strength doesn't let her lose all hope, and has her dealing with her stubborn man

While all this internal stuff is happening, and a relationship struggling and developing, it is BKI, so people are trying to hunt then down and harm them. Really, really, bad people want Chelsea, and her crew of protectors

There is a lot of action and emotion, the sparks between Dagan and Chelsea are red hot, and we move further into an on-going saga with the big bad. Not much checking with the others, but Becky and Ozzie have a brief appearance. It was once again a 'read for a bit' turned into 'read until done' book that I absolutely loved!

I enjoyed reading this book. The writing was excellent. I did feel that this book was tying the other stories together with this series. I wanted a bit more.

Dagan Zoelner is a brooding operative that now works for BKI after an assignment went bad when he was as agent for the CIA. That assignment ended his CIA career and left him with feelings of guilt because of the blood on his hands.

CIA agent Chelsea Duvall is on loan to BKI for an undercover operation. Working with Dagan brings back all those unfulfilled feelings for Dagan that she has kept under wraps.

Both Dagan and Chelsea have kept their feelings for each other hidden. But working together on this undercover mission will finally bring everything to the forefront. Once those feelings are revealed things become more than heated -- they will sizzle. But all of those feelings will be put in jeopardy when Chelsea reveals a long kept secret about the last assignment that Dagan was on as an agent for the CIA.

This is one series that never disappoints you. Looking forward to the story of Christian and Emily!!

Black Knights, Inc. book 10 is the story of Dagan Zoelner and Chelsea Duvall. They are fighting to uncover the identity of a criminal named Spyder.
The first 25% of the book is long on angst and short on action. There is way too much brooding by Dagan and Chelsea and thinking about each other, but once you get past this, the action starts and the story gets good. Other characters are Christian, Emily and Ace who have appeared in past books.

The BKI Black Knights Inc. is an amazing series, alpha, military males, their efforts to take down the bad guys whilst working secretly for the President, plus the women who sneak in and capture their hearts. Serious action, adventure, heart ache, horrors, hurt and seriously HOT sizzling sexual chemistry. Dagans story - book 10 in the series, is no exception, the BKI world is changing, the President, their remit, however his feelings for Chelsea have only grown over the years. A job in England, where Chelsea is the undercover agent, doesn't go quite to plan and the pace of the story will then mean you won't want to put this down. Another Walker winner

Fuel for Fire (Black Knights Inc., #10)
by Julie Ann Walker (Goodreads Author)
Read
I really enjoyed Dagan & Chelseas story..
This time The Black Knights are in The UK, where Chelsea is undercover in a bid to uncover the elusive Spider. Dagan is part of her support team.. Once again Julie Ann Walker, weaves a story with plenty of snark, comedy and action, not only between Dagan & Chelsea, as the other Characters all make sure their opinions are known LOL.

In typical Black Knights Inc fashion, there are secrets to be unveiled and pasts to over come, and plenty of Baddies who's asses need kicking. Who better than a BKI operative to kiss ass and take names???

I can't wait to see what happens in the next BKI Installment. (Review posted on goodreads and send to author )
