EXPLOSIVE chemistry (with a capital E), FUEL FOR FIRE couldn't be a more apropos title!
Broodiness to the nth degree, Dayan and Chelsea characters made for some seriously great romantic suspense reading time! 4.5 stars

I really enjoy this group of men at the Black Knights. This books sees a possible end to their mission as the President has changed. That doesn't mean they aren't going to continue to go after "Spider". Dagan and Chelsea have been dancing around each other for years. Neither one seems to think themselves worthy of the other. Intense attraction, high stakes suspense and a little one on one time help cure them of their hang ups. This one is a fast mover. Everything takes place with in a few days time.
Love Chelsea and her southern charm. Dagan is the perfect brooding hero as well. Looking forward to seeing how this series will end. Great read!

It must have been so much fun finding all the witty one liners and comebacks that these guys sling around so easily. Most of them are hilarious and I can't wait to try a couple out myself.
Chelsea is so loyal, how could Dagan ever doubt her. She proves herself time and again with all the tight spots they find themselves in.
Personally I'm not turned on by a man with a beard, but Chelsea sure does love it. She references it often when she's thinking about how handsome she thinks he is.

I love Julie Ann's books and this was a great addition! FINALLY got to read Chelsea and Dagan! The attraction was off the charts H-O-T! Chelsea finally gets to prove herself as a real agent and not just sitting behind a desk. She knows that she can't have a real relationship with Dagan till she comes clean with a secret but when is the right time? Dagan has found Chelsea sexy for years and can't believe she wants him! This was a great read and I can't wait for the next book!

Former CIA agent Dagan Zoelner works as a cover operator for Black Knights Inc, a covert government defense firm. He and three other operators accompany Chelsea to England to investigate the lead on the enigmatic Spider’s identity. Dagan dislikes Chelsea working undercover. When Chelsea’s cover is blown, Dagan swoops in to save her from the bad guys. While on the run, she reveals a terrible secret that threatens their blossoming relationship. Will Dagan keep Chelsea safe until they reach US soil? Can Dagan forgive Chelsea for her role in his expulsion from the CIA?
Chelsea Duvall is a counter intelligence analyst for the Central Intelligence Agency. She works as the official liaison between the CIA and the Black Knight Inc. Chelsea infiltrates a powerful media mogul’s inner sanctum to search for evidence linking him to the disreputable Spider. She soon finds her cover blown and is on the run. Chelsea relies on Dagan Zoelner’s expertise to evade the mogul’s murderous henchman. Will Chelsea finally come clean to Dagan about the terrible secret she has kept since their CIA days?
I have a fascination for unique and uncommon names, and Dagan’s first name fits right into that appeal. I often wonder about its correct pronunciation. Dagan is a man who has never forgotten the many mistakes of his past. They always remain forefront in his mind, and being a part of the Black Knights gives Dagan the opportunity to atone for his sins. I adore a man who finds a woman’s intelligence attractive rather than off putting. But what I love the most about Dagan is his overbearing protectiveness towards Chelsea.
Chelsea is a woman after my own heart. She clearly loves high/epic fantasy movies and books from the many references she uses throughout the book. I adore the fact that Chelsea is a full-figured, glasses-wearing woman. I honestly cannot remember the last book I have read with such a heroine. In some ways, Chelsea reminds me of a toned-down Penelope Garcia in the suspense TV series Criminal Minds, especially her sassy demeanor around the hot men in Black Knights Inc.
FUEL FOR FIRE is book ten in Julie Ann Walker’s popular romantic suspense series, BLACK KNIGHTS INC. I have been anticipating Dagan and Chelsea’s book since her appearance in book six, HELL FOR LEATHER. The story can stand alone, but to understand the couple’s fun chemistry and the series’ back plot, reading the prior nine books is necessary.
FUEL FOR FIRE is a spellbinding story of two people overcoming their past sins to act on their mutual attraction. I like how the author cleverly set-the-stage for the next couple in the upcoming book. I hope Julie Ann Walker considers writing a full-length book for Rusty and Ace.

Dagan Zoelner has blood on his hands from a tragedy that happened years prior when he was an agent for the CIA. As a result he left the CIA and went to work for BKI.
Spitfire, CIA agent Chelsea Duvall always had a thing for Dagan, but her secrets made her feel as though she would lose Dagan. But the two have to work together to take down a criminal known as Spider.
Since meeting Dagan, 10 books ago, we get to see the back story how they began and what happened when he was fired from the CIA. The tension between these two is so explosive you know its just a matter of time until they get together.
It was nice seeing Christian and Emily on a mission together outside of the Chicago BKI shop, and getting to know Ace better. His comedic relief can give Ozzie a run for his money. I would love to see these two telling jokes. i wonder who would win.
Dagan's story was darker than Ozzie's book which I recently read. I enjoyed the Dagan and Chelsea's story and with all the things left open at the end of the story I hope we get to see those answered in the next book. I really hope its about Christian and Emily who continuously fought and bickered the entire book.

Holy smokes Ms. Walker lit my Kindle on fire with this one! I knew from the moment Dagan and Chelsea stepped onto the pages books ago they would set the world on fire once they finally gave in! As with any of Ms. Walker’s books we are never disappointed, she gives you the perfect amount of action in and out of the bedroom; leaving you in a sighing puddle of goo and a melted Kindle! The chemistry between these two literally melted my panties right off and the possibility for a MM romance in the future has left me panting for more! Gi’ me, gi’ me, gi’ me!!

Let me begin by saying I love the Black Knights Inc. series. I have read all of them -- a few more than once! After finishing Ozzie's, I was super excited for Zoelner's story. He's always been such a mystery man.
This is the weakest book in the BKI series to date. I felt it never found its footing. It was rushed and lagged at the same time. I did not like the 24-hr time frame either. It needed a more drawn-out relationship period for Z and Chelsea. Both characters were flawed, and both worked to use those flaws to keep themselves from being happy.
One of the other downsides to Fuel for Fire, no real updates on any of our BKI faves. Just a few snippets at the very end. It's almost like we are spinning into a new series from some of the ancillary characters. I'm fine with that, but if it's categorized as a BKI novel, I would prefer some more substantive updates.
I will say there were some great zips and zingers in this story. My favorite "Combine his new visage with wicked tattoos and a body that was broad of shoulder, lean of hip, and made for sin, and that subtle 'fsssss' anytime he got near was the sound of Chelsea's panties melting."
Looking forward to the next installment!

Fuel for Fire is the tenth book in the Black Knights series and is the story of Dagan Zoelner and Chelsea Duvall. On a mission in Merry Old England, Chelsea goes undercover to stop one of the world’s worse crime syndicates run by an anonymous person only known by the name of Spider. When the BKI agents’ mission is compromised, they made a hasty escape throwing Dagan and Chelsea together where the attraction Dagan has tried to ignore, becomes intense. With secrets they both carry, will they be able to overcome the obstacles even if they make it home alive?
Ms. Walker has written another hot romance!

Ms. Walker has been on my must read list for some time. Fuel for Fire is my favorite so far (I think I've said that for every book!). Dugan and Chelsea's story is on I didn't want to end - it's that good. Climb on an hang on tight for a hot ride!!

Oh my Julie Ann Walker does it again.... Dagan and Chelsea .... hot and sassy ... love this adventure if the Black Knights and may have a new fave because dang Dagan

Julie Ann Walker has another stellar book in her hands. She has mastered the art of mixing Action/Adventure, International Conspiracy, and Romance into a heart pounding, page turning, self-fanning masterpiece. She continues to bring her A-game with every BKI book, and this is no exception to that rule.

Julie Ann Walker's Fuel for Fire is every bit as delicious as the previous books in this series. It's action-packed, suspenseful, funny, romantic and sexy. I was looking forward to this couple's story as it was teased since a while. As expected, sparks flew from left and right and the chemistry between H/h was palpable. Their personalities and issues are believable and authentic. But also the side characters are introduced and teased well. Walker manages to make their banter and friendship so funny and endearing that I wish to be part of this group :) I'm definitely looking forward to Christian & Emily's book. And hopefully Ace & Rusty's too!

Dagan is part of the Black Knights team of covert ops agents who make the world a better place one case at a time. Chelsea is a CIA agent working undercover with them on a dangerous case. Hugely attracted to each other, but afraid to act on it, when they finally realize how they feel - it's fireworks. Great dialogue, red hot passion, and well-developed characters make this a great read. I love the Black Knights, Inc. series!

I loved this book. I have been waiting for Dagan Zoelner's story ever since the very first book (Hell on Wheels) and I was definitely not disappointed. I enjoyed getting to know Dagan and Chelsea better as well as Christian, Ace, and Emily. I appreciated that the story stuck to the main scenario and didn't try to mix too many themes in all at once. Overall I would definitely recommend this book to friends.

So awesome. It is action packed and leaves you wanting more. Couple steamy sex scenes. Really sick people and a mysterious bad guy.
Chelsea worked intelligence for the CIA but has been loaned out to the BLACK KNIGHTS INC. She is in England undercover trying to find info on one of the most hideous crime syndicates boss. She needs to download a virus so the guys back home can break into his computer. But it backfires and her team has to come in and rescue her.
Dagan was a CIA agent until they turned against him. He now works for BKI and has known and been attracted to Chelsea for years. He breaks down and tells her how he feels, she feels the same but she is keeping a big secret. First he has to get her back to the states and keep her alive. Will he forgive her or how she lost her heart?
*VOLUNTARILY REVIEWED BOOK FOR NETGALLEY *

What a great addition to Julie Ann Walker's Black Knight series. Dagan and Chelsea's story has been a long time coming and Fueled for Fire immediately draws you in to their story. Chelsea and Dagan have been snapping at each other forever, neither of them owning up to their feelings for each other. Once they do, their chemistry is hot, heavy and off of the charts. Now that they have admitted their feelings to each other, will the secret Chelsea has keep them from having a future together. Fueled for Fire was filed with suspense, action, humor and romance. It can be read as a stand alone, but I definitely recommend checking out the entire series.

I absolutely loved this book. I have all the BKI books in print and i have a couple in digital format. I plan on even buying this one in print when it comes out. I loved that Chelsea and Dagan finally worked everything out and she finally let go of her guilt. I can't wait till more come out I love these books. Julie rocks!

I have read all the BLK series by Julie Ann Walker and each one builds on the next book so its best to read this series from the start but you don't have to. The reader will keep readers from getting lost.
While I enjoy the fact Julie Ann Walker went from the characters only having the one night together because neither one is sure this is what they truly want. I had such high hopes for these two characters and I found the book lacking the humor I was hoping to enjoy. It was almost as if the characters lost their bite from the several other books they were in.
The book seem disjointed as if the author wrote this book in part and pushed them all together in hopes it would work. It worked as well as it could. The sex is spicy but too much inner monologue between the two characters.
Dagan Zoelner was as always very no dis-script and nothing about him really stood out. While Chelsea seem to lose her bite and playfulness she had in the other books. Chelsea character was always fun but Julie seem to take that away from the characters and instead of moving forward she moved backwards causing the story to take steps back from her adventurous previous stories.
This story left a lot of open ended question which as a reader I will assume will be picked up in the next in the series.
That is where I think the author might lose readers.
Thank you to the Author Julie Ann Walker for an advance copy as well as netgalley
