I know a lot of people didn't really like Kellan in the first book, but I had a soft spot for him, so I was curious to see how his story would turn out.

Turns out, all it took was a genuine friend from his past to bring him to his senses (and knees). Andrea (Andi) grew up next door to Kellan. They had that wonderful childhood where you were always together everyday, playing, fighting, getting into trouble, etc. No matter what happened between them, they always made up and were friends. Of course, there was that secret longtime crush Andi had brewing for Kellan too. But he was apparently unaware of it......played it off like he didn't know....and maybe that was because he didn't want to ruin a good friendship which I understand. (I totally connected with this part because my neighborhood was the same way.....everyone came out everyday to play or whatever.....got called in for dinner....and then back out to play if not school days.....and yes, there might have been a boy next door that I crushed on all through my childhood, but that was then, this is now.....he recently moved back in with his Mom who is still living next door to my Mom.....ummmmm nope......LOL!)

There are some sparks between them the summer before Kellan leaves for college. They get into a bit of a tiff at the end of that summer......BUT! Then he leaves. Yep, just leaves, no goodbyes. Of course, that's was Andi's choice too. And they don't talk again for two years!!! TWO YEARS PEOPLE!!

And then guess who's starting at Kellan's college.....that's right, Andi.

I won't go any further, you'll have to read it to see what happens. I will say I give Andi a ton of credit for putting up with him....I would have dumped his ass to the curb years ago!! But, true love, and all that.....haha! And we also have glimpses of Crosbie and Nora from Undecided throughout the book which was great!

This was a cute second chance - grew up together love story. There were some serious laugh out loud moments and I really fell in love with Kellan and Andi.

Kellan and Andi have been next door neighbors, arch nemeses, best friends and eventually "more", but that all abruptly ended 2 years ago. Without any warning Andi stopped talking to Kellan and he never figured out why. Soon after, Kellan went away to college while Andi stayed local...until now!!!! Celebrating the start of a new school year with his friends who does Kellan hapoen to spot at a party?!!?? Andi!!! Andi has accept a scholarship to Kellan's college and now the ever elusive ladies man has to figure out how to fight his secret feelings toward the only girl he's ever fallen for--and at the same time figure out why she left him in the first place!!!

I seriously enjoyed this book!! I know it's the second book in this series, but I had no trouble jumping into the series here. In saying that, I am absolutely going to read the first book (Undecided) in the Burnham College series because I liked Undeclared so much!! I though Julianna Keyes did a great job with keeping the storyline exciting without any lulls-- love that! I loved Andi and Kellan's familiar back and forth banter that only comes with a life long friendship. Undeclared is a 4.5 star book that I highly recommend everyone read! I REALLY hope there will be future installment in the Burnham College series (fingers crossed)!!

There's always trepidation reading the follow up book to one you really liked. Was it a fluke? Did the author just have that one great idea? Is the sequel going to be the same thing all over again? Well breathe easy, this is just as good as [book:Undecided|31143173], it might even be better.

Kellen McVey was the douchebag from the first book. The one who had sex with Nora in a closet AND DIDN'T EVEN REMEMBER. The one who got his comeuppance when he found he had caught gonorrhoea and had to contact sixty-three woman to let them know and apologise.

As he starts his third year at Burnham College Kellen has decided to start over, Kellen 2.0. He won't have random sex with a woman without knowing her name. He won't just have random hook-ups full-stop. Then he finds out that his childhood best friend, Andi, the girl he both loved and hated has come to Burnham, two years after him because she had to work to save for college. Before Kellen came to Burnham he and Andi had a few weeks of hot and heavy, then for no reason that he can fathom she stopped talking to him for two years, she practically broke his heart. Now she is at his college and she wants them to pretend not to know each other.

Kellen is ridiculously good looking. Women throw themselves at his feet, he succeeds at everything he tries. he is the golden boy. But even in his third year he hasn't declared a major, and he's avoiding his guidance counsellor.

Andi has been in love with Kellen her entire life and everyone in their little town of Avilla knows it, everyone except Kellen. Every time she takes a chance on Kellen and trusts him with her heart he stomps on her trust, she might be at Burnham College but she won't be foolish enough to trust him again. Because this time he might break it for good.

This novel was such fun to read. We get such an insight into why Kellen behaved the way he did and how difficult it is to change when everyone around you just sees what they want to see. Even when he does make the effort to know a girl it blows up in his face. Juliana Keyes has made an unsympathetic character so relatable and so lost. Nora and Crosbie are still around, still in love and Crosbie gives Kellen some good advice, which he is too scared to take.

Done well YA/NA can be such a great genre and Juliana Keyes has done this so well. I thoroughly enjoyed reading every page of this, the shaming lists on the bathroom walls, the film classes, the tiki torches, the bake sale. All of it.

If you like Sarina Bowen's The Ivy Years then you'll enjoy Burnham College. Highly recommended.

This book was on the young side. Its my first book by the author and appears to be #2 in a series but it can also stand alone. Its about college studdents and I loved that most of it actually happens at college, in dorms, at frat parties, and college bars. So many of the college young adult books go away from the college setting and I loved that this book is 100% college.

It is a story about Killiam, this guy that has slept around and then he got a sexual disease. It stops him in his tracks when he then has to track the people he dated and contact him and he finds a list in the mens bathroom. At the time it has 67 names and while he has not been adding names, someone else is and the list is in the 80's.

Andi and K grew up together, neighbors, best friends and lovers. Andi has always loved him but he has always wanted something else. Until he sees Andi at his college. But she wants to meet and date other guys. And that really bugs him. This book is really about him growing up and deciding who and what he wants.

It was really well done and actually was deep and made me really think about lists and who we are and what we want out of life. It is only in K's voice. We never hear from Andi and it really made it much more of a personal journey for K by having only his thoughts and feelinsg in this story.

Kellan has a love/hate rivalry with his childhood next door neighbor, Andrea. They have been enemies, friends, and more than friends, but when they were at their closest, Andrea gives Kellan the cold shoulder. Now it's been two years and Kellan wants Andrea back in his life, he just doesn't realize how much that is going to happen.

This book was a hilarious and engaging read. I love that Kellan is reevaluating his life after he had a wake up call at school the previous year. Andi is the ultimate tomboy and doesn't play games or say what she doesn't mean, which makes her very refreshing (I would have loved to have her POV!) Add in all of the supporting characters and fantastic writing and this is a book not to be missed. I was given a complimentary copy of this book for my truthful and unbiased review.
