How far would you go for vengeance? Bastien just wants to be the same as everyone else but he is part of the royal family as so much is expected of him. He has found that being part military the most rewarding thing that he has done and he is about to meet the one woman that will change his world. Ember knows that he is bad news and that she will probably land up been hurt but she gives him a chance and that will change the very course of her destiny.
Bastien makes some bad choices after Ember breaks up with him and he lands up marrying her sister and that starts a downward spiral for them all. Bastien is accused of murdering his family and he is sent off planet to become a outcast and means doing what he has to survive. Ember loses her family as well and she is lost for a while but her sisters are still with out except the one that sold them out. Will they ever find each other again or will they both be lost forever? Will they both get their revenge and will Ember be able to let Bastien see the one thing that has given her hope all the time that he was gone?
We get to see more of the previous characters from other books and we get to see how they have grown and what has happened since. What another great book in the series, we are never let down. I was lucky enough to receive a copy via Netgalley & the publishing house in exchange for my honest thoughts.

I enjoyed Born of Vengeance, the characters were challenged and the storyline well written. I did find in parts that I felt like I was reading a scene from another book but due to this being a continuation it didn’t distract too much.
