I would have enjoyed a little more fleshing out of the characters. But for a quick read it was fun
Very quick short story. Something different then what I'm used to reading, never read cyborg/alien beings before but I might if they sound good. There was only a couple good hot parts but the rest was an overprotective possessive mate keeping his human bonded mate alive from a stalker. Ends in a HEA slight cliffhanger. But it was missing something in my opinion to give it the 5 🌟.
I finished this book in one sitting... I loved it... The perfect mix of alien technology and human society and what could be if there was a alien/ cyborg/ intelligent being mixed together to make your hottest wettest dreams come true... I just wish it was longer... Good characters though...
Romance with a mail order cyborg! What's not to like?!
This is Jaya and Bryn's story. Jaya was attacked years ago. She has been hiding from her attacker. She has been dreaming about Bryn for 2 years. He is from another planet. She is his bonded mate. She orders a cyborg to protect her. Bryn is that cyborg. The story has lot of bdsm elements. It was great. Trinity Blacio did not disappoint.
I received a free copy from NetGalley; this is my honest review.
I took one star off for editing issues. I loved the story. This is a true example of how far a man can go to protect his woman. Pretty good sex scenes too.
Valentine's Cyborg by Trinity Blacio.
It's the year 2035 and erotic author Jaya Sartar has been running from a stalker fan for over three years. Now she is tired of running, and of always being afraid. Her only comfort has been her electronic lover, the robot Bot Bryn. Bryn was her dream man—he held her, comforted her, and even spanked her. But all technology needs an upgrade, so when a recent stalker sighting gets Jaya spooked, she orders the biggest, toughest, most perfect android on the market—and tricked him out with the latest defense and pleasure technologies.
Absolutely fantastic read with brilliant characters. I loved the story. Jaya was my favourite character. I love the Way trinity writes. I have loved every book of hers I've read. I have not read them all but I would love to. Highly recommended. 5*. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book from netgalley.
Another hot story by Ms. Blacio. Interesting and unique sci-fi romance.
Not a fan of this story. Like many of her books you feel like you are starting in the middle of the story. Lots of information left out. It seems like there should have been a book before this that explained what was going on but if there is, I don't know what it is.
a quick read, hints at some interesting world building possibilities but not much detail/depth. easy way to spend an hour
Valentine's Cyborg Kindle Edition
by Trinity Blacio
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
And, to be honest, free was way too much to pay. I want recompencence for the time it took me to read it.
It lacks plot, character development and anything regarding romance. It is more of skeleton for a future book sliced up and fed a few kinks for titilation (not exhilartion, seduction or excitement).
Apparently, I write apparently because we never see it, this is the far flung future where Jaya is an erotic fiction writer who is being stalked. We are told all of this, never once shown anything to make it interesting. She also was, also apparently, attacked by this stalker (we are never shown how, the results or the lead up to this attack) and severely injured. As such she has, apparently, a new home. I have no clue where she lives. She spends, apparently, a lot of time on line with a bot (?), which is, apparently, a cyborg. This cyborg, apparently, part of a group of EBE's who have come to Earth and are trying to replenish their race with humans. Which, apparently, is the plot of a lot of way better stories and books out there.
Painful to read. It doesn't even cross the line into funny like many awful books.
1 star out of 5 because the writer has enough guts to put her name on this, apparently. My time is more valuably spent than this and this author is off my ever to read ever again list
The blurb is more entertaining.
