Willow has been in love with Regan, her brother's best friend and MMA partner since the moment they met. Now trying to convince Regan that's she's not just a little girl anymore is a whole different story. With courage, strength and determination these two fight for not just love but for hope and happiness.

Another enjoyable addition to the series. I absolutely love MMA fighters and Regan was no different. The struggles in the story felt real and came off the page. It was raw, emotional and romantic. I can't wait to read more from this group of fighters.

Melynda Price has a great writing style and this whole series is fantastic! I would have to say that this was probably my least favorite of the series so far but it was still so so good. You get so invested in all of the characters! You just cannot seem to put the books down; this was a very fast read for me.

So this is the fourth book in the series and follows Willow and Regan through their romance. Regan is best friends with Willow's brother Kyle and has been a part of their family for years. When Willow and Kyle's parents died, he was there through it all. Now Willow is all grown up and has wanted Regan for a while but he has refused for obvious reasons...her brother, her innocence, etc. Willow is persistent however and Regan eventually cannot resist. The issue comes when Willow wants to hide their relationship from her brother which of course does not work.

Lots of good drama, hot fighters, romance and just overall good reading!

Another great story by this author. She is on my watch list and again proved why. Her books bring the reader along on the journey. Willow has lived with and through so much yet comes out looking on the bright side. Regan has lived through more than anyone should. Its amazing as he discovers things he felt were not quite right. He is made a part of the Scott family and more than pays his dues. He is another who deals with life’s situations and keeps moving forward. Kyle is an unbelievable brother. Who wouldn’t want one like him to look after them. Even though he is pretty gruff overall you feel his deep involvement with his sister. As these three move through the story you are unable to put the book down. There is so much going on that you find yourself at the end before your ready. The only part I didn’t like about this book is I wanted it to go further. Did they get married and have kids. What kind of family are they. And oh yea, Kyle is totally left hanging. Even though this is not really a cliffhanger, I felt Kyle’s story is. I hope the author plans on releasing Kyle’s story soon or I’m sure I’m be among some upset readers. I’m glad I was given the opportunity to read this early and can’t wait for the next.

Willow and Kyle are brother and sister. Regains Kyle's best friend but he might as well be part of the family, he basically lives with them anyway . All seems perfect but their life takes a tragic turn when their parents are killed in a car accident and Willow was knocking at deaths door ....

Kyle stops his studies to come home and rear Willow and he needs to make a living so he joined Reagan as a MMA fighter and the 2 guys have made quite a reputation for themselves both in and out the cage.

Willow also works at the gym where the guys train which is both a blessing and a curse really ....hell with all that man candy around a girl can't complain 😂😎👿but all that alpha and testosterone does put a damper on a girls love life though , not that it really matters to much because her heart only belongs to one man ....

Regan and Willow are like magnets ! Their chemistry and attraction is off the charts and they're intense. Between school , Regan's past coming to haunt him , Willow having to make a decision regarding the appeal and the passion between these 2 I had my hands full and Grappling for Position made for an epic read !

So far this one is my favorite of the series. The time frames over lapses with the last couple books. I loved Regan and Willow. They both have had struggles in their lives. Regan grew up with Willow and her brother Kyle, so from the very beginning we know that this group of three are very close.

I loved how strong of a character Willow is. She fought for what she believed in and fought for Regan. Regan is super loyal and it shows throughout the story, this causes a huge struggle for him. Their struggles felt very real.

I did feel that we were left hanging at the end with Kyle. I am really hoping he gets his own book so we can find out where he goes from here.

This is a very powerful book about relationships. One is with Willow Scott and her brother Kyle who since their parent’s tragic auto accident left college and took over raising her. She of course rebelled at every chance she could get. He chose to get into MMA fighting like his best friend Regan “Rapscallion” Matthews, who has been fighting since he was a teenager and loves it. Also Willow has had a mad crush on Regan forever. He of course has looked after her also and has gotten her out jams now though he is getting them both into the biggest one of both of their lives when he tells Willow that he has liked her for years. When she decides to move out from under her brother’s control she moves in with Regan and though he tells her they should tell her brother they wait. This all comes to a head when they are getting ready for the biggest fight that either one has ever been in and end up fighting in the gym first. Now he must somehow fix his career, friendship with Kyle if possible, and now make sure Willow knows that he is committed to her. There is a lot going on in this book but the author pools it off and makes it work. She brings you to the end where you are still wondering what is going to happen and that is a sign of a good author. This is a very good book to go along with the other books.

Another hit from Melynda Price. This is a great story that can't be missed by Against the Cage fans.

My thanks to NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review Grappling for Position by Melynda Price.

Grappling for Position was for me a great MMA story. After a many years of suppressing feelings toward her brother best friend Willow finally say stop no more. But as if she with that ignites something in Reagan and all of the sudden they are in hide and seek relationship. Very hot very passionate. But hiding is slowly killing Reagan and because of Willow is he keeping the as a secret. Of course when truth is revealed it is a disaster and even car accident doesn’t change thing much. Of course this is not just a sport love story. Both Reagan and Willow have difficult past full of pain and lost and it comes haunting them both. I loved both of the characters they were likable in the second and what I really like way their first night together. SPOILER: I like that Willow first time was not prefers just be honest how many of you had a perfect first time. Great emotional story.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

Holy smokes this book was good. Grappling for Position was swoony!!!

Willow has been through tragedy and sadly that tragedy is coming back to haunt her again. When she was 15 her parents were killed in a car accident and the man that hit her car tried to kill her. Now he’s up for parole and she has to decide is she wants to keep her parents killer in jail. Besides that she has Regan to worry about. She’s been in love with his since before she knew what it was to love someone besides her family. One drunken night everything changed and ever since they’ve been dancing around each other. Regan grew up with nothing and doesn’t think he has anything to offer Willow. Besides that she’s his best-friends sister and he doesn't want to betray his friend like that. Too bad Willow is done playing games with Regan and when she starts seeing other people Regan knows he can’t live without her loving him.

Willow and Regan were just wow. Regan is all sexy fighter sex appeal who has always loved Willow and realizes how much he’s been hurting her while he’s been trying to not be with her. WIllow after dealing with so much has always loved Regan and when she finally gets to be with him, she realizes how much more he means to her.

The two have a lot to deal with and a lot of drama ensues. I think the story was a cute one with lots of drama and other stuff in the corners to make it interesting. At times i didn’t love Willow’s character, but overall the book was good.

This was the second Sports Romance/MMA Fighter book I've read in the past few days, and it solidified my feeling that I sort of love the sub-genre. I don't know what it is about a strong, muscled, tattooed tough guy that falls head over heels in love {and isn't afraid to proclaim it}... Well, I guess that's sort of self-explanatory! I love them - and Regan is no different. He has been struggling with his deep feelings of love for Willow, because of self-doubt and low self esteem thanks to a terrible childhood - not to mention the fact that she's his best friend's little sister. Willow has been in love with Regan since she was a little girl and no matter how much Regan tries to hold her off, resistance to their strong emotions becomes futile.

I think my favorite part of the story was that it wasn't strictly about their romance - there were several layers to the story line. It led to lots of drama and angst - Regan and Willow each had serious issues to deal with individually, and the side characters had their own dramas as well. While I was fine jumping into the series at book 4, the other characters {mainly fighters from the gym where Regan trains and Willow works} are featured so frequently and prominently that I want to go and read the first 3 books in the series and will continue on with it as well.
I truly enjoyed the book and want to read the rest of the series as well. The only slight drawback is that most of the characters have multiple names that they go by and there are so many of them that at times it was difficult to figure out who was being talked about. I think that if you start at book one, it's easier to distinguish between all of the fighters and their storylines.

Willow is in love with her brother's friend and has been since she was a kid, but after the death of her parents she has tried to always please her brother. He gave up college to come home and raise his sister and his best friend has helped. But now that they have all grown to young adults and emotions that have been bottled come lose.
I couldnt help but fall in love with these characters, and root for them....and for love. The characters were well developed and realistic. You will laugh, cry and swoon while reading this wonderful love story.

OMG I have been waiting for Regan and Willow's story since Passing His Guard and it was amazing!!! I love me some brother's best friend love stories! I started this book and I couldn't put it down. I stayed up til 4am finishing it and I was sad when it ended! Willow was stubborn, strong, and so brave. I love that she fought for what she wanted and what she thought was right. Regan was sexy, playfully, funny, and very loyal. Both Willow and Regan were endearing, and relatable. Both had a very hard life. Willow losing her parents and almost being killed herself. Regan suffering the abuse of an alcoholic father. Both were fighters picking themselves up and making a life for themselves.

Willow, her brother Kyle, and Regan all grew up together. Willow has always loved Regan and Regan fell in love with Willow when she was 16 although he fought his feelings. Regan felt that Willow was forbidden fruit. That it would be disloyal to be in a relationship with his best friends baby sister. Regan and Willow's relationship was angsty with some push/pull balanced out with plenty of sweet. And the heat omg the heat. Regan and Willow had a strong connection. The sex in this book was hot! What is it about the forbidden fruit that just makes it sweeter? I loved getting to see Regan and Willow give into their relationship. I was also on pins and needles waiting for Kyle to find out about his baby sister and his best friend. And boy did the shit hit the fan when Kyle found out. I loved Regan, Willow and Kyle. I thought their dynamic was sweet. I felt bad that Kyle took things so badly and I want more Kyle! I loved everything about this book but the epilogue. I felt the epilogue was kinda weak. I love this series and I hope Kyle and Grim get their own books!

This was my introduction to Melynda Price and this series. I honestly did not think that I would enjoy a series about MMA as much as I did. Grappling For Position is a caring book about two people who have been through a lot, loss, despair, and so much more, and their way of trying to find a little bit of peace in each other.

I thought the female lead had just the right kind of spunk, that made it believable for me, that she would not take anything from anyone, including the man of her dreams Reagan, and her own fighter brother Kyle. While struggling with her past, and their protectiveness, she grows into a strong woman throughout the story, while helping Reagon deal with his own demons. Their relationship is believable, charming, dynamic and not always easy, which makes great conflict.

What I also enjoyed about this book was that there was a greater suspense and heartache, then just a simple love story. It could have been easily cheesy, but Melynda skillfully managed to create an action packed plot that kept me want to read more. I am going to read every one of the series now.

This book is a part of a series, but can easily be read alone, and out of sequence.

This was another great book by Ms. Price. The love between Reagan and Willow is sweet and sexy in its intensity. The complicated family dynamic burdens them as a couple and I found myself waiting for the inevitable explosion . I love the other characters and I'm looking forward to reading their stories.

This is the 4th book in the Against the Cage series and can be read as a standalone, but characters from previous books appear in this book. I have not read the other books, but it seems to me that the books take place at the same time. Plus there are questions unanswered (about other characters in the book) at the end of this book. So it just makes a person want to go back and read the 1st 3 books and can't wait for new stories for other characters. Great strategy!

Regan is a MMA fighter whose mother ran out on him when he was little and left him with his drunken abusive father. He spent most of his time at his best friend's house (Kyle), as Kyle's parent were loving and attentive. But when Regan and Kyle were 20, Kyle's parents were killed in a car accident, leaving Kyle to look after his 15 year old sister Willow. So Kyle quit college and joined Regan in the MMA world to support Willow. Willow has always been in love with Regan, but he only sees her as Kyle's little sister. But 5 years later she takes a chance and shows Regan how she really feels. After that Regan sees her in a whole new light and cannot get her out of his head. He wants to be with her all the time but Willow wants to keep their affair a secret from her over protective brother because she knows he will go off the deep end when he finds out. There are lots of twists and turns in Regan and Willow's journey along with romance and a little bit of steam.

I received an ARC copy courtesy of Kindle Press through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

***4 Always and Forever Stars***

After finishing Fighting for Control I had put down my guess as to who the next book would be about, I was wrong, though I don’t think I’m necessarily wrong about the couple in question, but I’m not sorry I was wrong. While I did quite a bit of the heavy sighing/shaking of the head thing, which comes with the territory when you delve into a best friends sibling romance, I loved Regan and Willow’s story. It brought out all the feels mixed a good dose of smexy and getting to see a different perspective on the characters that we’ve come to know and love was a welcome treat.

I loved Regan. He may be the boy from the wrong side of the tracks, is a manwhore and tends to believe the worst of himself, but he has a heart of gold. His sense of honor and integrity rivals most out there, and that’s what I ended up loving about him. He wants to be a good man and does everything he can to do it. He trips up every so often, but no one is perfect.

I had moments with Willow, but overall I loved the girl. She went through a hellish experience at 15 and came out stronger because of it. She had help, may a little too much help at times, but she’s a survivor and has worked to make a life for herself. I loved Willow’s sassy nature and big heart. I loved seeing her go for what she wanted, even if there was an impetuous nature to it at times that almost got her into trouble.

With any falling in love with your best friends sibling romance there is quite a bit of push/pull and angst involved no matter how you swing it and Regan and Willow’s road to their HEA was no different. I could go into all the crazy they put themselves through, much of which you can probably guess at so I won’t. What I will say is that I really loved them together. The fact that they were already close friends and saw each other clearly was a bonus, but there was true chemistry between them that was undeniable. And though I loved how Willow pursued Regan, it was Regan whose side I ended up taking more often than not after he finally gave in.

Even after reading the first three books in the series and knowing how Ms. Price likes to throw twists into the plot lines, there were some in here that even I couldn’t have seen coming, but they all worked and I liked how everything played out in the end. This book can be read as a standalone, though due to the timeline of events I think it would be more enjoyable if you took the time to read the previous books, but that’s just my opinion. The writing was engaging and the dual 3rd person POV was done well. Even though I wanted to smack Kyle upside the head many times I’m crossing my toes that his book will be next, though I wouldn’t be too upset if Grim’s story was the next up either.
