Despite the less than appealing cover, the blurb sounded promising, so I picked up a copy of this book hoping to buck the trend of negative reviews. Having read it, I'm seriously questioning my wisdom, or lack thereof.
I lost count of how many lines I highlighted in this story and now, a day later, wonder whats the point of referencing them all. Rather than do so, I'll suffice to say for two heroines who are supposed to be in their thirties, their behavior, and god awful speech drove me too distraction.
Don't get me wrong, as someone who's rather fond of not acting my age at times, I can handle a certain amount of childish behavior, but this story took it to the extreme.
They say there's an audience for every book, sadly I wasn’t it.

This is a cute, short story, that glazes through best friends lifes and their secret love for each other. I wish it was longer and the plot more elaborated.

This is a short story that has not made much sense to me. The characters are poorly defined, they act as if they were teenagers, although they are above thirty. The story is not original and is somehow implausible (punks playing slots in a casino?). There are some parts that have confused the names of characters, you can not know if is Dana or if is Ariel speaking. And the epilogue does not provide too much to the history.
