This was a tough one to rate. Since the first book in the series, it was pretty clear to the reader that there was something between Tristan and Sydney, and it didn't take too much mental gymnastics to make the leap to figuring out what Syd's big secret probably was. Second chance romance can make for a really delicious read, so I was really looking forward to this one.

The first 40% of the book was everything I could have hoped for--angsty, delicious second chance-ness and all. Once Syd's secret comes out, though, it was hard to get behind the all of choices and decisions that both Syd and Tristan make and demand. The fact that they both work so hard to keep Becca happy is a saving grace for both of them, but at times this book was hard to read. I was determined to get to their HEA, though, and kept going. Seeing the couples from the other books (Tristan's brothers and their coworker) helped to make things better, even at the darkest moments.

So...I ended with mixed feelings on this one. There were parts I liked and parts that made me a little crazy. In the end, though, I really did like Tristan and Syd even if I didn't agree with everything they did, and was happy to see them finally end up at a HEA with Becca. It was great to see all the "billionaire builders" get happy endings, and I'm looking forward to seeing what Ms. Probst has in store for us next.

Since the first Billionaire Builders book, Everywhere and Every Way, I've been dying to know what happened with Tristan Pierce and Sydney Green. I've loved all the books in the series but this one has probably been my most anticipated just for the mere fact there was this huge unknown between them that made for frosty encounters between the characters. I have to say I was not disappointed. The opening alone of All or Nothing at All had me whipping though their story, page after page. When you've gone through two books and a novella in a series and you get to the second chance romance for these two, you can't help but cheer them on, to feel their heartbreak so deeply and then fall in love with them as they let the love they never let go of heal. Jennifer hit it out of the park with this series.

Je ne connaissais pas la saga Billionnaire Builders de Jennifer Probst qui se focalise sur les frères Pierce et même si je n'ai pas lu les précédents tomes, je n'ai absolument pas été gênée dans ma lecture et au contraire , j'ai eu envie de découvrir les tomes précédents sur Cal et Dalton. Je suis persuadée que cette saga pourrait parfaitement être traduite en VF pour la collection Love Addictions chez J'ai Lu pour Elle mais revenons à mon avis.

Tristan Pierce est donc le dernier frère Pierce et il se démarque de ses frères par son envie absolue depuis le plus jeune âge de fuir l'entreprise familiale et la ville d'Harrington. C'est simple il se sent étouffé et rêve de vivre sa propre vie dans une autre ville. Il faut aussi dire que ses relations avec son père Christian sont des plus tendues. Son père a un caractère très fort et il est très exigeant avec son fils. Il a en tête que ses fils travaillent pour son entrerprise et même si le milieu de l'immobilier est un domaine qui plaît à Tristan , il aimerait voler de ses propres ailes. C'est donc parce qu'il a ce sentiment d'être étouffé qu'il décide à la mort de sa mère Diane de tout quitter. Tristan est un personnage qui aura du mal à exprimer ses sentiments tout au long du roman. Il ne sait pas se livrer aux autres et il a souvent des moments où il se ferme aux autres et devient froid. C'est d'ailleurs très troublant de voir son corps agir d'une façon et voir ses paroles être aussi blessantes. Je ne pense pas qu'il ait vraiment conscience de ce qu'il dégage et du mal qu'il peut faire autour de lui. Sa première victime sera donc Sydney et les conséquences seront désastreuses. C'est aussi un homme à l'orgueil très important et quand on déçoit Tristan , la rupture ne met pas longtemps à arriver. Il n'a eu qu'une seule femme dans sa vie , à savoir sa mère Diane et donc sa mort a complétement bouleversé la donne et rendu encore plus introverti cet homme.

Nous avons donc au fil des pages des flashbacks sur l'adolescence de Tristan et Sydney et le lecteur a donc toutes les cartes en main. Les chapitres ne sont pas vraiment écrits selon le point de vue d'un personnage en particulier et de plus ils sont écrits à la 3ème personne , ce qui pourrait être déroutant par moment mais au final on s'habitue au style rapidement. Tristan adulte persiste donc dans cette attitude froide et distante. Depuis un an , il est obligé de travailler avec Sydney et pourtant les relations sont plus que tendues. Moins ils sont en présence l'un de l'autre plus heureux il est. Mais Tristan ne peut nier le trouble qui le saisit et il va vite comprendre que la Sydney docile et innocente qu'il a connue est devenue une femme sûre d'elle . Il va devoir faire face à une femme qui sait ce qu'il veut mais dans un certain degré ce qu'elle vaut. Ce que j'ai également fortement apprécié est le fait qu'il soit proche de ses frères et qu'il puisse leur parler sans filtres. Il pourra compter sur eux en toutes cirsconstances et c'est un superbe noyau familial que nous découvrons. Qu'en sera t-il des relations avec Syd? Parviendra t-il à résister à la tentation ou continuera t-il de dresser des barrières?

Sydney Greene est un personnage féminin très intéressant car elle ne montre pas facilement ses faiblesses. Nous découvrons deux facettes de sa personnalité et nous l'apprécions de pages en pages. Elle est tombée sous le charme de Tristan depuis qu'elle a 8 ans , autant donc vous dire que ses sentiments sont forts et intenses. Malgré les revers de la vie, malgré la rupture, malgré la souffrance, elle n'a jamais pu cesser d'aimer Tristan même si ce dernier n'a jamais partagé l'intensité de ses sentiments. Elle a pu lui dire qu'elle l'aime mais n'a jamais eu la chance d'entendre ses doux mots en retour. Elle a toujours été à ses côtés en toute circonstance mais elle va devoir revoir ses priorités quelques temps plus tard à la naissance de sa vie, Becca. J'ai adoré cette jeune fille car malgré son jeune âge , elle est très mature et fait preuve d'une forte intelligence. Elles ont toutes deux posé les bases d'une relation à deux et les Pierce feront tout de même partie de sa vie. Elle sera donc entourée tout en étant , de manière assez paradoxale, seule. Syd va donc mettre la priorité sur sa fille et c'est aussi pour cela que professionnellement parlant , elle va vouloir montrer de quoi elle est capable .

Mais l'épée de Damoclès au dessus de sa tête est évidemment Tristan. Elle n'a jamais su lui résister et elle va une nouvelle fois devoir résister pour ne pas succomber . Ses sentiments sont encore très à vif. On va souffrir à ses côtés car on sent qu'elle l'aime profondément et qu'elle n'est plus prête à souffrir. Je me suis vraiment attachée à ce personnage car on sait que le choix crucial qu'elle a fait au début du roman n'était pas fait de gaité de coeur mais c'est un choix réfléchi et au final adapté. La situation n'était pas proprice et elle en assumera plus ou moins les conséquences. Même si elle s'entend parfaitement bien avec Cal et Dalton et leur fiancés Morgan et Raven, je pense qu'il lui manque une amie à qui se confier entiérement. Comme je le disais précédemment , elle a besoin d'avoir une personne à ses côtés pour ne pas se sentir seule. Les Pierce sont sa famille de substitution mais en dehors d'eux , elle n'a personne pour s'ouvrir complètement sans avoir peur de se trahir. Saura t-elle s'imposer professionnellement parlant et obtenir la place qu'elle mérite? Saura t-elle faire fi de ses sentiments pour Tristan?

Bref, j'ai découvert cette saga et à présent je n'ai qu'une seule envie: retrouver Cal et Dalton et découvrir leur histoire. Jennifer Probst nous offre une superbe romance où il s'agira de donner ou non une seconde chance à son histoire d'amour. Les émotions sont au rendez vous et les personnages vont nous faire vibrer du début à la fin

All or nothing at all is, unfortunately, the last book in the Billionaire Builders series by Jennifer Probst. Finally, we get to read Tristan and Sydney's story. I have been waiting for them to get together for a long time and now we discover their dirty secrets. The prologue gives us the chance to find out what happened almost a decade ago and reveals Sydney's biggest secret.

I am trying to be reasonable and say that when the revelation came I was on both sides equally, but to be honest I am trying really hard to see Sydney's point. She had some good moments like the time she decided not to take what little Tristan was offering her, but for half the book I kept thinking how she should have said the truth a lot earlier. I don't know why she kept postponing it. If she had said something from the start maybe we wouldn't have gotten a story that's filled with hate, hurt, betrayal and distrust. Tristan was treating Sydney very badly after that. Just as he had become a sweet man Sydney and I were falling in love with he became this cold bitter man and I disliked him. I was mad at Sydne for keeping her secret, but I was also mad at him for treating her so badly. Both characters were flawed and they weren't able to achieve the character development I wanted them to.

It saddens me to think that we won't get another book in this world. I loved the Pierce brothers and their other halves. Despite the ups and down's of this book, I was able to enjoy it. Tristan is so loving and a terrific dad for Becca. All the book could have been just the two of them and I wouldn't have minded. Would it be too much to ask for a novella where all the couples spend time with their future children? Pretty please?

If someone asked me if they should read the book or not, I would lean towards the read it side. A little slip from the very good books by Jennifer Probst won't change my mind about the recommendation. Enjoy seeing Tristan and Becca bonding and sharing something special.

This series. I mean from the first book Jennifer Probst had me hooked. I love the concept of this HGTV based world of the Pierce Brothers. Tristen and Sydney's story saved the best for last so to speak. These two had so much history and hurt and emotion between them. It was totally a second chance, but also a hate to love vibe because there were so many hurts between them. When it was good between them it was amazing and hot and at times sweet. But then things were revealed and coldness settled and I wanted to punch Tristan so many times! I ached for Sydney and yelled at her in the next breath. This was a definite fight to get to their happy ever after, but oh so worth it!!

What a beautiful way to end the series! I've loved the books in this series and for it to end makes me sad but I'm sure Ms. Probst will wow us with another series in no time!

The story of Sydney and Tristan is a second chance romance. They were together while they both worked for Pierce Brothers under Tristan's father Christian. It was a secret affair while they worked together.

And then everything fell apart.

I loved reading the history between them as well as the history of Sydney with the Pierce family when Diane, Tristan's mother, was still alive.

This book was filled with so much emotion and angst it was awesome to read. There were parts that I wanted to strangle Tristan for the way he treated Sydney but he redeemed himself in the end.

I also loved that Brady found his love too in this book. I'm wondering (and hoping) if he might get his own book?

I would definitely recommend reading the previous two books before reading the finally but it's not necessary.

All Or Nothing at All is my first novel by author Jennifer Probst and I like it a lot.Tristan and Sydney’s story is sweet and heartwarming.

I enjoyed most of the part of this story, I just had a little problem with the last chapters where I didn't felt the connection I had so far with the characters but yet it was good.Sydney and Tristan's story is messy, painful and full of regret. I was sad for both of them but also frustrated with some of their actions.

Generally it was a great story with some steamy moments ,emotional and sweet moments.

This book was beyond amazing. I mean 20 stars out of 10. Its my first book by this author and definitely not the last. In fact I loved it so much I went out and bought aand read the first book in the series because I loved this story so much. This is the story about the third brother Tristan and his romance with co-worker and family friend, Sidney.

It was such an amazing story. Tristan and Sid have loved each other a very long time but they ave ALOT to work out. I loved that nothing for them was easy. NOTHING. And the author does not take the easy way out. The two characters struggle and I really liked seeing that journey.

Sid is a very strong character and I really loved that about her.She made some really bonehead decisions bt she also owned them and thats what made this book so good. Tristan he won me over as did Sid's daughter. Her and Tristan well they are very special together.

I could totally gush about this book because I truly loved it but don't want to give any spoilers away. I am a total new Probst fan. I beyond loved this book and series.

Well, didn’t Sydney and Tristan lead me on a merry chase. It’s been awhile since I’ve read a Jennifer Probst book and I’d forgotten what a good writer she is. All or Nothing at All appeared to be just another second chance romance with a secret baby trope thrown in. But, Probst takes the reader on a sort-of wild ride as Syd and Tristan try to find their happily ever after. There were moments I wanted to smack their heads together, times I wanted one to tell the other to take a hike, and a few times I could’ve just pinched either one of them. Yet, the payoff is so well-done, that it made all the violent thoughts worth it.

I haven’t read books one and two in the Billionaire Builders series, but apparently there are a few hints of the relationship between Sydney and Tristan in Everywhere and Every Way and Any Time, Any Place. If you’ve read those, you know before it’s given away in the prologue that Sydney’s daughter is Tristan’s and boy, does she have some explaining to do. I love, love, LOVE secret baby books, but never has the secret been so… controversial. What seems like a pretty black and white second chance/secret baby story has some meat to it. I loved that I kept changing my mind about who needed to do more groveling as the story switched back and forth between present day and flashbacks.

As a couple, I had some reservations about Sydney and Tristan. I didn’t always get their attraction to each other outside of their sexual attraction (which is insane). Often, I felt like I was being told they belonged together. Part of it had to do with my inability, at times, to connect with them individually. In truth, I’m sure it’s because I jumped in at the end of the series. But, I also think that Tristan is meant to be a bit of an enigma to readers because he’s an enigma to Sydney and has recently opened himself up emotionally to his brothers (see book 1 & 2). He’s cool and closed off, especially to Sydney and her daughter, Becca, as the book starts. He’s also a bit of a caveman, a bit reminiscent of some of my favorite 80s historical romance heroes. He also brought me to tears (in a good way).

Sydney, however, is an open book. Readers know right away how much she loves Tristan, but also how hurt she is by his inability to truly love her. This is the recurring theme throughout the story, but Sydney isn’t a pushover by any stretch of the imagination. She’s business savvy and I loved the moments we see her making deals and renovating houses. More so, I loved how she took care of her daughter, Becca. Through the flashbacks we get to see her grow into the strong woman she is and I found myself cheering her on as she stood up for what she wanted.

All or Nothing at All has a familiar supporting cast for those who’ve read the previous books and they play a big role. Even as a newcomer to the series it was easy to see how Probst had developed strong relationships between all the characters, past and present. The setting was also a lot of fun for me. If you like HGTV, you won’t be disappointed!

I know some people will find Tristan to be one not to like. Even be disgusted by his actions. Some may find some of his ways to be borderline wrong or even wrong but I didn’t. Was he abrasive? Yes. Prickly at times? Yes. but as you learn more of his and Sydney’s past you see why. Even begin to understand. You also see that emotions and expressing emotion is very hard for him. He guards his heart like fort knox and felt betrayed in the worst possible way. I think he even felt that Sydney never really knew him or trusted him.

I also know that many may feel for Sydney throughout the whole book and not feel she was at fault in the debacle of their relationship. I think it is on both of them although I have a hard time with what she did and all her justifications. To me it doesn’t matter what you think no one deserves what she did. And I can understand Tristan’s fear after that to let her in. It takes him time to cave into his feelings and even admit them but when he does wow he goes all out. Sydney is a kind and strong character. She is fierce and stubborn. I can see why Tristan falls for her. He is her equal in many ways and they fit together. they draw strength from each other. they just need to learn who the other is again and find their place once again in each other’s life. That is what this book is about-second chances, forgiveness and love.

Tristan isn’t an easy character to get to know or feel for but I did. He had so much to overcome and was scared. he was the one that solved things. He felt very hurt by Sydney in the past and was trying to deal with that in the present. HE did try when he first got back into town to talk to her but that didn’t work well so he hardened himself. When they are thrust into a project together, he is the one to be dogged in confronting the past and moving forward. It is Sydney who sends mixed signals and is cold hearted at times. She distances herself because she fears the truth coming out. And she should. Overtime though the attraction and chemistry does rule out and we see them start to build something once again. It comes to a halt kind of when Sydney finally lets go of the secret. You feel for Tristan than. I mean there was so much misunderstandings and miscommunication in the past that set this up but sydney did have a lot of time to come clean. She was afraid and that is understandable but she was also at fault. Her excuse of him being cold since he came back is her fault. She put him in that zone. So his anger is justifiable. But his solution is what many will start to turn against Tristan. He comes cold and hard towards Sydney but towards Becca it is beautiful. He does what he feels is right. He denies his feelings towards Sydney though. That doesn’t work out so well for they do keep creeping up no matter how much he fights them. Sydney hopes for forgiveness and that their love will come through in the end. She slowly starts to lose hope but all is not lost. Tristan just takes sometime to get past the betrayal and pain. She shattered him and she needs Cal to help her understand just how much and what he is going through. I love the protectiveness of Sydney as a mom and she is a great character just made some serious misjudgments.

Favorite scene: Tristan and Becca with the pink sparkles for this turns their relationship. Also Tristan and bad mom.

The writing is wonderful and so is the story. the characters are ones you love from this series and Dalton does give us some fun times. We see a different side to Tristan especially with Becca. I will say that this book is going to be like a Woody Allen movie where there is no middle ground in the like or not like category due to the way situations work out and are done. A story about second chances, forgiveness that is heartwarming and heartbreaking. A story that has you feel everything and shows you the power of love, forgiveness,moving forward and family.

The One that got away...

Anger, resentment, tension, and burning lust are a focal point for Syd and Tristan. It's easier to go us on the bad and avoid the good. Betrayal is a hard thing to get over.

As a second chance romance, I have to say it's far more real than most. I liked the tension, distrust, and lack of instant forgiveness. Let's be real- people carry grudges. I respect the check out of this book for being real about that. Did I enjoy the bitter feelings...no but they were real. It made the situation real.

I really enjoyed All or Nothing at All. I may not have read the others in the series but you don't need to.

This was one of those books that really made me angry to the point that I wasn't sure I could continue reading.

I really liked Tristan up to a certain point where his behavior took a wild left turn for me. While I totally understand the place he was coming from and why he was so angry, it was the extreme way he took out his anger that had me wanting to throw my kindle and curse out author. Never the less I pushed through and I'm really happy that I did.

I won't lie and say that I'm completely satisfied with the way things went but I understand why they went that way and how it contributed to the relationship between Tristan and Sydney.

I think that the simple fact that I could feel so passionate about the characters and their story means that the writing was so good that I was completely invested and that's all I can ask for from an author and a book.

This was the final book in the Billionaire Builder's Series and I'm sad to see it come to an end but I love the journey that these brothers took me on and I will totally come back to visit the Pierce brothers in the future.

All of Nothing At All is the third book of Jennifer Probst Billionaire Builders series. Tristan and Sydney have a past and more than that connects them. Back when Tristan's mom first died and his dad was being an unmitigated stubborn asshole, and when he was first in love with Sydney Tristan decides to leave to New York and start his career in real estate there since his dad won't listen to his ideas. Sydney has always been a part of the family, the Pierce mom treated her like the daughter she never had, and Sydney has been in love with Tristan for as long as she can remember. When Tristan started to reciprocate those feelings she thought it was a dream come true, until Mom died. Sydney however had big news for Tristan but before she could tell him he announced that he was leaving, as much as it broke her heart to do so she knew she couldn't go with him and hold him back from his dreams.

Fast forward to the present, Sydney is tired of being stickly office personnel she has the opportunity to bring in a big client that can not only bring in business for them but for all their local suppliers as well, the only catch is that the Pierce Brothers have to make her the CFO. Cal and Dalton don't have a problem with it they think she earned it, Tristan is not impressed with the ultimatum and doesn't believe she can handle the job of overseeing the entire project by herself. The other brother nominate him to help her out if she needs it.

Tristan is still butt hurt by the heartbreak when she didn't leave with him to New York and instead married another man. Sydney doesn't have time for heartache she has a daughter to raise and a business to run, but the close Tristan gets to her and her daughter the more she wants the truth to come out. But she is so scared of what might happen.

Overall, this was another outstanding emotional, quirky, and Tristan can be so sweet when he wants too. Such a sexy read and when Tristan gets over his butt hurt attitude he's a real keeper. I loved it I really did Probst always hits the spot when it comes to good contemporary romance infused with humor and tear provoking emotion.

This book closes out the HGTV inspired series and it has my favorite troupe, secret baby! This was actually a lot more complicated than most secret baby books because the secret was hidden in plain sight.

The Pierce Brothers are finally on a good track after coming back together because of a tragedy. They have reestablished their relationship and two of their brothers have found their life long partners. One lone brother stands holding on to the past. Tristan is cold, more aloof and seems to be unattainable. His past with Sydney has been hinted at but, no real details have been given — until now.

Sydney and Tristan have been keeping their distance and it hasn’t been easy seeing as they work together. When Sydney gains a new position at work, it changes everything. Forced to work together they must reconcile with the other. What they didn’t count on is that their feelings for each other haven’t changed. The time apart has only driven up the angst and the emotional reunion is what I was hoping for.

Sydney and Tristan have their work cut for them, especially when Sydney’s secrets are unmasked. It took a while for me to warm up to Tristan but his interactions with Becca were so sweet. I could have used more romance between Sydney and Tristan but, in the end it doesn’t disappoint. This emotional roller coaster was one ride that I thought would crash and burn. There were so many old hurts and not enough communication and serious secrets. I wanted to yell at them to just SIT DOWN AND TALK IT OUT. But, of course, it’s not always that easy.

Tristan and Sydney embark on a second chance journey that is filled with pitfalls of their own doing. Their passion for each burns so bright, in fact, it might burn too hot. But, with the help of their family and friends, they may be able to find their way to each other again.

Tristan and Sydney have always had a relationship going all the way back to when she was little. She was always around the Pierce family growing up and was considered the daughter they never had. Being around the Pierce family was a great way for Sydney to enjoy the family she never had since her parents abandoned her when she was really young even though her grandparents raised her.

Sydney had been in love with Tristan since she was 8 and he stole her heart. The only thing stopping them was the age gap between them, until she turned 18. Since Sydney was always around the Pierce family she started working for them when she turned 16 which only made her grow even fonder of Tristan. After she turned 18, Sydney and Tristan had a secret love affair that they wouldn't tell his family about because they were so protective over Sydney.
One year later his mother dies and it leave him heartbroken and damaged goods. Tristan asks Sydney to leave with him and go somewhere else and Sydney said no. Sydney was afraid that Tristan didn't love her and was afraid to leave unless she knew for sure that they could make it work.

Six years later, Tristan comes back and Sydney now has a daughter and is still working for Pierce Family Construction. He tries to so hard to avoid her for the better part of a year until he decides that he cant hide his love for her anymore. With the big project they are forced to work on together he cant hide anymore. Tristan is willing to do anything that he can in order to show her that he deserves a second chance to prove his love for her.

All Sydney wants to do is focus on work and her daughter, but she cant help the way she feels for Tristan. She has loved him for so long but has been heartbroken by him as well. Can she trust Tristan this time not to break her heart or her daughters heart? Can Tristan really prove that he can be the man Sydney deserves?

Tristan refuses to lose Sydney again, but will secrets that are revealed tear them apart forever? Or will they be able to build from the ashes? Hearts will be shattered and lives will be forever changed in this final installment of the Billionaire Builders series!


This book was beyond sensational, steamy and unputdownable!!! I couldn't stop reading, I had to stay up and finish even though it was wayyyy past my bedtime! It was so steamy but with angst from al the tension of events in the past and what could happen between Tristan and Sydney.

Tristan and Sydney are obviously meant to be together but not without some bumps in the road first! Tristan has to not only prove himself but also that he isn't going to just up and leave again when things get rough!

Sydney cant help but love Tristan, not only is he charming but also very easy on the eyes, even though he broke her heart.

I absolutely loved Sydney and Tristan and was rooting for them all the way to the end!! I was emotionally wrecked after some of the events and couldn't help but feel like there was a small hope that they would make it through because they were meant to be!!

I am so sad that Tristan and Sydney have finished their run within this series. They were such an amazing couple and have been through hell and back but it was well worth it in the end!!

I single handedly devoured this read! I couldn’t put it down! I waited months to read it! I even went as far as to stalk poor Jennifer Probst. But she exceeded my thought or even desire! Yes, she had me in laughing, swooning, in tears and in need of a fan!! WOW!!! Seriously I’m still marveled by the execution, flow and the depths. Which were all pulled out!! I can say it’s Jennifer Probst best work to date!!!

The underlying connection between Sydney and Tristan have been hinted through the previous books but All or Nothing at All was their book and I was excited to see how it would all play out. I truly enjoyed the first 60-65% of this story. The back and forth between the two and their interaction and banter were fun and I liked them. I also enjoyed seeing how their relationship changed as the story progressed and how they were trying again for something real. The background of Sydney and Tristan was important as it sheds light to the present and I couldn’t wait to read how it would go. It was a sweet and sexy build up. I also enjoyed the family atmosphere between the brothers and their girls so it was nice seeing everyone and the bond they had. But of course it wouldn’t be all peachy. Sydney has a secret that she’s been keeping and when it comes out things change. And it was when this secret was discovered that the story went downhill for me. I didn’t like how things played out and I wasn’t a fan of Tristan and his actions. By the end, the author did her best to make everything all great again but for me it was all over. I couldn’t get over certain things. Overall what started out as a good read turned out by the end to be one that I wasn’t a fan of. The majority of the book was great and it is because of that I am giving it 3 stars.

My entire being was captivated by the prologue from Jennifer Probst's ALL OR NOTHING AT ALL. I felt the love and desire between the two main characters deep within my soul, and never wanted to let it go.

Sydney Green fell in love with Tristan Pierce when she was only eight years old. Growing up, she always tagged along with him and his two brothers, which resulted in her becoming an honorary member of the Pierce family. Sydney and Tristan are entangled in a secret love affair when Tristan's mother passes away. It is at this time that Tristan is completely out of sorts and feels compelled to get away from his brothers and his family's construction business. He asks Sydney to come with him to New York City, but she wants to stay in town with her ailing grandmother. In addition, she loves working for Pierce Brothers and living in Harrington, so relocating is not really an option. Although she tells Tristan that she loves him, he does not reciprocate the sentiment.

It is almost seven years later when Tristan returns home and joins his brothers in the management of Pierce Construction. Tristan uses his success in the NYC real estate market to further advance the company's interests, while he and his brothers rekindle the bonds that they once shared. Sydney is now CFO and a single mom to a darling daughter. She and Tristan barely tolerate each other while working on an important project together, until they finally give in to their mutual longing and desires. They get married, form a family, and overtime, find a way to forgive each others faults and deceptions.

I really enjoyed this book. Sydney is an independent woman and I loved the way she stood up for herself time and time again. Her daughter is a real cutie and her way of looking at the world is truly refreshing. Tristan's good-looks, smarts, and emotions are captured brilliantly, which makes him quite likeable. Lastly, Sydney and Tristan are a hot couple and their sexy times are numerous and hot. Luckily, they get a second chance to realize they are meant to be.

This is third and final book in the BILLIONAIRE BUILDERS trilogy and it can be enjoyed as a standalone. However, in order to truly experience this well conceived series, I recommend reading books one and two. Some of the characters crossover, which adds a nice familiarity and background to the plot.
