Enjoy Your Journey: Find the Treasure Hidden in Every Day is a delightful and thought-provoking book that reminds us of the gift of life and the importance of embracing joy daily. It's a must-read for anyone seeking to cultivate a more positive outlook, find contentment in the present, and experience life's fullness in the journey to their dreams.
Enjoy Your Journey by Joyce Meyer wants people to enjoy every day of your life because Jesus came so that you might have and enjoy life (John 10:10).
This is a great book on the importance of embracing each step in life, not waiting for everything to be "perfect." Because perfect will not happen in this lifetime. Yet, God blesses us throughout our lives in so many rich ways. It's easy to get dragged down and stop seeing God's greatness in the every day.
When people say life is a journey to be enjoyed, they seldom tell you how to enjoy the journey.
.
I enjoy how Joyce uses biblical principles to show how we can enjoy the journey from where we are to where we want to be.
.
Many of us have the desire to be better, seek better things and live better lives but how are we ensuring we are not always in a cycle of dissatisfaction?
.
I like how she gives examples of living in the now instead of regretting yesterday or fearfully anticipating tomorrow. God gives grace for each day.
.
Favourite quote: “”Without a vision, we atrophy and become bored and hopeless. We need to have something to reach for, but in the reaching toward what lies ahead in the future, we must not lose sight of the now!”
Enjoy Your Journey: Find the Treasure Hidden in Every Day by Joyce Meyer is a book about enjoying daily life when you are not yet at your destination. The author talks about making the choice to celebrate each day and discusses the many reasons for doing so. Joyce Meyer supports her arguments with Scriptures and each chapter is quite short and perfect for reading even on busy days. I would recommend this book to anyone that needs this reminder. I received a copy of this book from the publisher. This is my honest review.
As with many or all of Joyce Meyer's books they seem to come at the right moment in your life. This book is no different, and although I did not read it cover to cover, it did resonate with me and make me consider things differently. Anyone who is looking for a book about positive changes in life or fans on Joyce Meyers will love this book.
Joyce is always so good at reminding me of the truth of what the Bible says.
Do you enjoy life? I know many days I let little things get me down, for no reason. I need a change of heart and mind and this book is a great reminder of that.
A few quotes from the book that stood out of me:
From Chapter 2: "As believers, you and I have available to us the same quality of life that God has. His life is not filled with fear, stress, worry, anxiety or depression. God is not impatient, and He is in no hurry. He takes time to enjoy His creation, the works of His hands."
How true is that. It didn't have to take God six days to create everything. He is God, He could have done it in an instant, but he sat back and said, "It is good." Lesson learned.
Another quote from Chapter 7: " Believers in Christ should be bubbling over with life. It should be vibrant, alive, active, energized, peaceful and joy-filled."
Does that sound like most believers you know? Does it even sound like you? That isn't me most of the time. Truly sad.
Another one from Chapter 11 I am still pondering on: "Ishmael could not be heir with Isaac. The work of the flesh could not share in the work of the Lord."
If you are looking for a book to give you a little kick in the backside this book will do it for ya!
A copy of this book was given to me through Netgalley.com. All opinions are my own.
Another great read from Joyce Meyer. She has this magical way to connect you to her every last word. Highlighting as you go because there's so much information that you want to take away that you find yourself reading over and over again. Imagine enjoying life right where you are, today in this very moment! Her past experiences make relating to her words so memorable. Makes me feel I can be as victorious as she has through her beliefs. Thank you for this opportunity to read another amazing book by the extremely talented Joyce Meyer. I highly recommend this book no matter where you are in your walk of faith! God will meet you right where you our? Enjoy the journey!
Joyce brings inspiration to all with her books. The word of God and encouragement excels.
All my books by Joyce Meyer have highlighting throughout. I find so much that strikes me as important that I want to go back and revisit. I love how Joyce shares so much of herself, her struggles and even the abuse she suffered as a child. There is something so very encouraging about seeing how she has overcome so much. It makes me feel as if I can be victorious with God’s help too.
This book came to me at a time when I really needed it. Imagine the idea of enjoying where you are; I can’t say that I often feel that way. Joyce has so much useful advice for someone like me, and yes, I think I can put a lot of her ideas into practice starting with the thought that I often work too hard to make everything perfect, and not everything needs to be that way.
I noticed another reviewer didn’t care for how Joyce adds words in parenthesis to make the meaning clearer. For me, that is a welcome addition , and I appreciate that she does it. I think a lot of it comes from how she has studied with an Amplified Bible. As far as I can see, this practice has helped Joyce and many others grow. It really adds to my understanding of the Bible.
I highly recommend this book.
Joyce Meyer is one of my favourite people...love her preaching, her words of wisdom and her practical way of looking at life.

Or maybe, like myself, you are seeking a way to really enjoy the most of life. Well there is a new concise book that I recommend: Enjoy Your Journey: Find the Treasure Hidden in Every Day by the bestselling Bible teacher/author, Joyce Meyer.
Through Bible scripture references and modern life teachings, Joyce Meyer guides readers on how to enjoy your individual journey. How to have and enjoy life now! I like how she shared personal experiences that were relatable. Most of all, the book isn't too "preachy."
Way too often we get so caught up in our everyday problems that we forget to maintain joy and peace. Life is not simple but it should be joyful. To find out how, read this abridgment of Enjoying Where You Are on the Way to Where You Are Going.

Enjoy your journey Find the treasure hidden in every day is the latest book by Joyce Meyer. It will be published by Faithwords on June 6.
We should always enjoy our journey on this Earth affirms clearly the writer. But how to do that? Sometimes it's not simple and the same Meyer experienced a big crisis, although later she decided for changing something in her life, putting behind her delusions and looking forward to the best of life.
The Bible speaks a lot of joy as a great sentiment that must be cultivated and communicated to the other ones.
And first of all we must stay positive, enjoying life, accepting Jesus in our life, and keeping our mind plenty of beautiful, grateful thoughts.
Living with simplicity, de-stressing our mind by the complications of life.
Meyer tells her history of abuse as synonime of insecurity in her life because "people insecure must impress others because they feel they are not very impressive just being who they are" writes in the book.
So growing up she worked a lot for trying to impress everyone but that one could be a problem. A problem to her. Because that one wasn't the best answer for all her anxieties but an extra-anxiety.
Praying is the answer like also discovering the Way of Lord.
Talking of children Meyer affirms for sure that they believe what an adult tell them because they trust. The authority, the adult person.
It will be important once we grow up to preserve the child that it's in our own.
The abuses suffered by Meyer were mental, verbal, sexual and emotional. She grew up in a house where incest, alcoholism and violence the most common word pronounced.
But Meyer tried to escape this hell creating a workaholic girl avoiding the stress of meeting someone else.
But then God had other plans more relaxing and satisfying to her.
Meyer affirms that if people hurt us in the past we mustn't never put in discussion our relationship with God.
Meyer in the book speaks also of religion and the meaning of religion in our times.
And back to joy, she thinks we should use joy as a weapon against Satan and against negativity.
A lack of joy means give up, less enthusiasm for what we could do, for our projects.
And smile. Smile a lot. Laugh, because a happy heart is the best answer and sunrays; let's also fight at the same time for preserving our joy. Abraham preserved a light heart.
Let's try to stay balanced, and let's give God time, without to want everything immediately, without to be too much suffocating regarding your relationship with your loved ones but mainly the first and most important message by Joyce Meyer: be happy and enjoy the journey!
I thank NetGalley and FaithWords for this e-book.
Another perfect Joyce Meyer book that comes at the perfect time. I think in today's world we all need to find a way to enjoy our life and find some joy along the way. I think this will be added to the list of books from Joyce Meyer that I constantly find myself telling friends about. A perfect book IMO. Easy to read and understand. For this busy mom of 4 I didn't have any trouble picking it up and putting it down when needed. I never felt like I was going to lose my place. I also didn't have to read it with a dictionary beside me to try and understand it all. Perfect for me.
Learning & being encouraged to enjoy the moment had been particularly helpful as I have faced my life style choices now. It was a helpful reminder that Jesus wants me to enjoy life & what he has planned for me.

I am reviewing a copy of Enjoy Your Journey through FaithWords/Center Street and Netgalley:
In this book we are reminded that life is a journey, but it should also be a celebration. Joyce Meyer's points out that there is nothing sadder than someone not enjoying life.
The author points out that in order for us to live as God intends us to live we must truly believe that God's will for us to experience continual joy.
This book reminds us of the importance of remaining positive, of believing instead of doubting. We are reminded that doubt and unbelief steal away our joy.
I give Enjoy Your Journey five out of five stars.
Happy Reading.
