Ranger meets a cop helping with an important case and is taken by many surprises when he connects with her and his past comes knocking. Feeling also out of place with his new MC family, will he be able to figure out what he wants, where he belongs? I love that Ranger is a straight forward guy. No beating around the bushes. What he and Jo have is special because whenever something needs to be taken care of they do it together. Plus they don't hide feelings from each other or play games with each other. What they have is not the ideal conventional relationship, certainly not the easiest one but they are willing to work for it. Even when they encounter obstacles. This is an easy read that flows and will make you wish your relationship was as dedicated as this one.

A delicious and exciting addition to the Wind Dragons MC Series!

Crossroads is the 6th book in the Wind Dragons MC Series, but can be read as a stand alone novel. Crossroads is told from dual points of view and follows the story of Ranger and Johanna. Ranger and Johanna are the complete and total unlikely pair. Ranger is a biker and lives his life to the biker code. Johanna is a police detective. These two couldn't be more different if they tried, but when a special case comes up, this unlikely pair will have to find a way to work side by side. Shouldn't be too hard, right? Wrong. From the moment Ranger and Johanna meet, sparks fly and quickly turn into a raging inferno. They both try their hardest to fight the pull they feel towards one another. But, a connection like this, is one that will refuse to be smothered. The stakes are high and the obstacles are even bigger. Will this unlikely pair take the leap? There is only one way to find out....

Crossroads is an exciting and fast paced story. From the moment you pick up this book, you are sucked into Ranger and Johanna's tale. One of the things I enjoyed about their story was just how unlikely of a pair these two were. I mean, they were as opposite as opposite can get. But, despite their differences, they made a really great team. They worked hard at building a trust between them. I appreciated the alpha male in Ranger. Not only was he a determined man, but he didn't let arguments go. He believed in working through issues and finding resolutions. He was also very protective of those he cared about and refused to give up, even in the most dire of situations. And Johanna was tough as nails. She was also fierce and determined. She would stop at nothing to solve her cases, especially the one that she was currently working on. The road to HEA was not an easy one. It was filled with obstacles and drama. These two had a lot to work through to get to the ending they wanted...

Overall, I thought this was a really great read. This story was well written and fast paced. Definitely a book you could finish in one sitting. I enjoyed the characters and found them easy to follow and connect with. This story had just the right amount of drama, action, suspense and of course, sexy good times. Overall, a great read and wonderful addition to this series.

**I received a copy of Crossroads from Net Galley in exchange for a voluntary and honest review**

Crossroads by Chantal Fernando is the sixth book in her Wind Dragons MC series. I'd recommend reading the a couple of the previous books to give you a bit of the back story of their rival club Wild Men. However this book really focuses on Faye, Ranger, Jo and Elizabeth and human sex trafficking.

Ranger is asked by Faye to help find his first love from high school, Elizabeth Chase, who has been missing two weeks since trying to find him in a biker bar. There are flash backs to their European trip after high school, but he doesn't know that she calls him "The one that got away". They both fear the worse and he declines first before agreeing to help Elizabeth's cousin, Detective Joanna Chase. As the race to find Elizabeth, both Ranger and Jo discover they have feelings for each other. But Ranger has a secret that he hasn't told Jo and it could change her mind about him completely as there is one thing she values above everything else-honesty.

Joanna Chase knows that she needs to find Elizabeth soon before she's lost forever. But when Ranger and Jo view the video from the bar they know that there are more women missing than just Elizabeth it will be a race to find all of the missing women before they are forever gone into the dark underworld of human trafficking. Can they find Elizabeth in time and can their new feelings for each other survive if they find her?

I'd give Crossroads a very high 4.6 stars for it's excellent portrayal of its subject of trafficking and its sense of how family is important in the Wind Dragons MC.

This almost seemed like a spin-off from the WDMC. The characters were present, but only peripherally.
That said, definitely not a bad thing, the story was still highly entertaining and it was great to see some old faces :) I felt like this was s departure from the rest of the series - there was no MC drama, and the drama that there was seemed slightly juvenile. A guy stuck between two ladies, and the omissions that lead to hurt feelings... very high school. I did enjoy Ranger (I've been looking for his story since we met him) and there's something to be said for a hero who knows what he wants from the get-go and fights for his lady. Jo on the other hand... meh? She's got a hard exterior with a squishy centre, but all the lying and sneaking to save face... does not make for a strong character. Plus - and I'm Canadian, so maybe this is just disturbing to me - she look a gun to a bar? and pulled it on someone while intoxicated? and this was considered cute??? I had been sitting on the fence in regards to Jo at that point, then just No. No, no. no.
The writing was as clever and witty and sexy as I've come to expect from Ms Castille, so the book is automatically awesome, so I did give it 4 stars - I'll continue to look for more by this talented author!

I seriously can't get enough of this fabulous series!! I hope Chantal Fernando never stops writing these addictive books!!! Just when I think there is no way I could love this series more, Ms. Fernando proves me wrong with her original storylines and amazing characters!!

This novel combines romance and suspense perfectly! I thought Johanna and Ranger not only made a great couple, but they were great partners as well!! Johanna was most definitely NOT a damsel in distress and could hold her own, but didn't always have to be in control--loved that!! I always enjoy catching up with entire Wind Dragon's MC and getting updates on past favorites!! Crossroads is a 4.5 star book that makes a perfect addition to this fantastic series! I truly meant it when I said I hope this series never ends, I am crossing my fingers there will be many more installments in the future!!!
