I can say that I did not learn anything new from this book and was not that informative. there are much better books and other information out there that is much better.

The format was not readable. I tread anyway, and thought it to be quite off putting and not for me.

I'm not exactly sure what my reaction to this book is. I go back-and-forth between thinking if it's a tongue-in-cheek book, or a serious resource on self-defense. "Tip #56. Scream!" - I didn't think of screaming as helping one to 'overcome the fear of combat', but it makes sense (according to the many action movies I watch. While I wasn't crazy about the illustrations, I appreciated the information, and may even try one or two if I can remember them during a stressful situation. There were great tips on where to target on a body (#103 "Target for Effect - Vulnerable Areas of the Body") for different kinds of impact, etc. Overall, I think that it's a good book to read for information, and hopefully useful.
