From being voted ‘Most likely to land in Jail’ by her high school class, to overseeing law enforcement in River Bend, Jo Ward takes all of her choices seriously. Jo’s ‘6th sense’ has been in overdrive for more than a year. When the opportunity presents itself, she makes arrangements to attend an FBI sponsored training program at Quantico. Meeting one of her instructors, Gill Clausen, prior to the class, makes for an interesting first day.

Jo is a not an ‘ever after’ person. She’s been left by everyone she’s ever loved, except her besties, Mel and Zoe. Growing up under the thumb of her dad, the Sheriff, and losing her mom when she was young, hasn’t been easy. She chose to rebel when in high school, then over achieve when she loses her dad.

Trying to prove her father didn’t die of an accidental shooting since she became the Sheriff, and as her relationship with Gill grows, Jo hopes a new set of eyes on the documents she’s amassed will help solve the mystery, give some closure, and help her move forward. Gill, is hoping to change Jo’s mind about ever after.

Incidents meant to cause harm to Jo, has Gill on edge. Working together, can they solve the decade old mystery and find happiness together?

Loved the last book in this trilogy and sad it’s completed. There were enough loose ends that I hope there will be a bonus novella tying them up! If I say please will it happen??? PLEASE??

Sad to see the series end, but as it goes, all good things must come to an end.
The last in the series but most definitely can be read as a stand alone.
Jo is one of three very close friends. The kind that are with each other through the good and the bad. BFFs Mel and Zoe have come through some good and bad and have their lives in steady, successful, happy places. Jo most would think has the same. She is a loner in some ways being the small town sheriff and scrutinized by the many that looked up to the previous sheriff. Her father. Jo who was voted most likely to end up in jail in high school now runs the jail but feels something missing in life. Thrill. Excitement. But never love. Always a one night stand kind of gal and always far, far away from her hometown Jo finds just what she needed and didn't realize while training on the other side of the country. Complications, surprises, threats and turmoil turn Jo's personal and professional life upside down.
Catherine Bybee has written in the way that you feel like you really know these people and are experiencing life with them. Recommend read.

Jo is the sheriff of the small town she grew up, took the job over after her dad died, and is not happy. While reading the other books in this series I was curious about Jo, what was her history, what is her future, and what is she going to do with her life were all questions I had about her. Catherine Bybee answered all those questions and more in Making It Right.

At the beginning Jo seemed kind of like a pushover, which is not usually a word I would use to describe a sheriff. The town definitely took advantage of her, calling her at all hours, showing up at her house, and not showing her the respect she deserved. The first time she chose to do something for herself, going to the FBI training program for a week, I cheered. I didn’t know what she would find there but I saw it as the first step towards doing something for herself. From the moment she met Rocco I knew her life would not go back to being the same.

The girls, Zoe and Melanie, are Jo’s best friends. I love the support, the fun, and the love between them. There is no doubt that no matter where life takes each of these wonderful characters they will be there for each other. Zoe and Melanie each had their story told in the first two books of this series but it was fun to catch up to them and see where their life was currently at.

The friendships and the relationships in this book were amazing. There was sparks, heat, love, and respect. Jo’s story is my favorite and I am sad this series is over but so glad Catherine Bybee share them.

I recommend reading all three books in the series. Each book can be read as a standalone.

I was waiting for Jo’s book and then I made myself wait longer than I’d intended. A great book, with a wonderful conclusion to the mystery running through the series.

Most Likely......the BEST

A great final book to end the series.
Jo is a local sheriff for the small, unexciting town of River Bend though there is mystery surrounding her father's accidental death. A training seminar in Washington leads to Agent Gil who helps her fulfilled voids

Either it took a very long time to kick in or I was not really focused but the good stuff only began at the 3rd part of the book.
The suspense is fine and the small town drama will keep your attention.

This is the last book in the Most Likely To trilogy and the one that I have been waiting for the most. In each of the other books, Catherine Bybee has left behind hints at Jo’s story as teasers. Finally, we know just how much her father’s murder has impacted her life. She went from the town’s troublemaker to taking her father’s place as sheriff. But can Jo and Gill have a future with her father’s murder still unsolved. And does she really want to be sheriff of a small town?
Once again Catherine Bybee has created a great set of characters in a series that I for one hated to see end. This one had not only a great romance but just enough suspense to keep it interesting. Hopefully it won’t be long before she is back with another series with just as much heart for her readers!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.

In this the third book in her “Most Likely” series Catherine Bybee gives us another wonderful heartfelt and heart tugging story about friendship and love that does not come from a blood line but from that which is a sisterhood of long-time friendship. I was privileged to get an advance copy of this book and once started could not put it down.

Jo Ward has taken the position she all but inherited from her father after his death, which she does not believe was accidental. As town Sherriff she has a responsibility to the town, but she also has a responsibility to herself to have a life outside of her job. And she does not realize that when she takes an expert law enforcement course at the training centre in Quantico Virginia and meets badass sexy FBI agent Gill Clausen just how important he would become to her training, her job and finding that fulfilling life she needs.

In their jobs as law enforcement officers they work great together, but can the strong attraction they feel for one another keep them together. Can Jo who has never had a real committed relationship let Gill into her life and that of her small circle of people who really care and love her? Can the wild girl of her youth find a fulfilling and happy life with a man who is perfect for her as the strong woman she has become?

All the books in this series tugs at the heart of the reader and you are cheering for a happy ending. Jo’s story pulls you in and you are cheering for her to not only find out the truth at what really happened to her father, but for her to fall in love and find the happiness she deserves. I am hoping we have not heard the last of River Bend….they are other stories to be told… When Catherine Bybee writes a book, don’t walk to buy it Run... you won’t be disappointed.

Review: Making It Right by Cathrine Bybee is a stunning read. This contemporary romance hold a lot of action. From a mysterious death to being a fresh target, the heroine has trouble headed her way. Plus, there are her complicated feelings towards a man she meets. She’s not ready to open up to a new relationship yet she can’t ignore the chemistry.

Catherine Bybee gives readers a fascinating tale. Death, a murderer on the loose, and a brewing romance. Fast-paced romantic suspense. I enjoyed reading about a female leading as a law enforcement official. That’s a hard position to be placed in and Jo handles it well. Especially, considering her father dying in a way that puzzles her…something is wrong. Danger, intrigue, and scenes that melted my heart. Jo and her new man, Gill make for a great couple. Their teamwork is something I would love to see contain this series. Making It Right is a perfect title. It fits in well with this engaging piece. I couldn’t stop reading this book. Exciting from beginning to end. Overall, I recommend it to readers everywhere.

I love Catherine Bybee and as I've said before, I will read the phone book if she writes it :D So it is not a big surprise that I loved this story. I think that Making It Right is my favorite book in the series. There is just something about Jo, Gill and their story that simply grabbed my heart and that was it. Which is not that surprising considering the fast pace, the suspense, the emotion, the fun situations between the characters and the off the charts hotness factor of Gill :D

Jo is an incredible character. On the outside, she looks all tough and strong and like she can deal with everything. Even Mel and Zoe don't really see her vulnerable side. But considering the way she lost both her parents, it is quite understandable. But all that is eating her from the inside and in a way, she is not really living her life to the fullest. That's until she meets Gill and he manages to breach her defences and discover the vulnerable woman underneath.

And Gill is definitely a dream boat I would love to surrender to. I loved Luke and Wyatt from the first two books in the series but there is just something about a big, bad tattooed bad boy with a chocolate voice that gets my motor running. And Gill is all that and so much more. He manages to do something no one else before him does. He sees behind the mask Jo puts in front of everyone. He sees the gaping wound left after her father's death and the pain and fears she still lives with. Of course Jo and Gill's relation ship is not easy. There is danger lurking in every dark corner and people who are ready to kill to get what they want. But together, they find the strength to find their HEA.

For me, this was one incredible read. It is emotional, suspenseful, fast paced, romantic and definitely HOT. I definitely recommend it. And it is a standalone even if it is the third book in the series, so you can just start from this one :)

**Advanced copy provided by the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**

Catherine Bybee has delivered once again! This is the 3rd and final book in her Most Likely To series and, I have to say, this is my favorite!

Voted "Most likely to end up in jail" by her high school classmates, Sheriff JoAnne "Jo" Ward now finds herself wearing the uniform she despised so much as the teenage daughter of River Bend's sheriff. The circumstances that lead to her job title have been troubling her for the last 10 years. Her father's death by his own gun was ruled accidental but that has never sat well with Jo. She can't prove it, but she always felt there was something "off" about the tragedy.

That same feeling of something being "off" also carries over into her life. She can't quite explain it but she has that sense of feeling that there's more she should be doing than patrolling the streets of River Bend. This feeling drives her to do something impulsive and head to Washington, D.C. for training with the FBI. As if that wasn't enough, her impulsiveness sends her to a dive bar looking for a distraction from her thoughts. It's here that she meets "Rocco", who provides just the distraction she needs. That one night is all she allows herself because, despite the connection she felt with Rocco, training with the FBI begins Monday morning. As the training is about to begin, who should walk in to join them? None other than "Rocco", aka Federal Agent Gill Clausen. Awkward!

What happens next? You'll have to read it to find out but suffice it to say that you won't be disappointed by Jo's and Gill's story! What I love about this book, though, is while you have a love story building, there is also a mystery to solve. As the story unfolds, the desire to find out just what happened to Jo's father made this a hard book to put down! I found myself reading it before I went to bed and then, again, as soon as I woke up in the morning. This is a "must read" book!

This is the third book in the "Most Likely to" series. I think this might be my favorite of the three.

This book picks up with Jo, the last of the three friends (Zoe & Mel). In the past books, you got the vibe that Jo was convinced she was being watched and that she thought her father (former Sheriff of their town) was in fact murdered. Still feeling watched, Jo decides to take matters into her own hands and head to DC for some FBI training. There she begins a close relationship with one of the trainers.

Is Jo just imagining things or is someone actually following her? Was her dad actually murdered? Is this new relationship something that can last?

I enjoyed this book the most. I enjoyed still following the lives of the folks in River Bend, especially the three friends - Jo, Mel & Zoe. I'm sad to see the series end, but I enjoy all of Catherine Bybee's books. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for this copy.

Making it Right is the third book in the Most Likely To trilogy by Catherine Bybee. I was anxious for Jo's story. I knew quite a bit about her already going into this book, but she had a few surprises. I wasn't sure about Gil in the beginning, but I don't know... yeah, he grew on me pretty quick. He may look tough and use the FBI to keep himself tame, but his inner teddy bear isn't too far under the surface. I think he was a perfect fit for Jo. I loved their story, and I especially love that we see how the previous couples are doing with each book. This is a fun series with some steamy romances and drama and mystery to keep you on your toes.

This was a great book to complete the series. I appreciated that all the ends were tied and nothing was left hanging. Pleasurable and heartwarming series that I am thankful to have found. Definitely recommend!

As always, Catherine Bybee did not disappoint. The story was well written and held my attention from start to finish.

“Making It Right,” Catherine Bybee’s newest release, is a fitting end to the “A Most Likely To” trilogy, a clever play on the traditional high school practice of naming different graduating seniors, “Most likely to…”.  Like every other Catherine Bybee book that I’ve read, and there are many, this book is a well written, easy-to-read, enjoyable novel.

The novel opens with a prologue featuring the book’s heroine, a young and rebellious Jo (JoAnne) Ward, hungover the day after high school graduation in the small town of River Bend, Oregon. Jo is stifled by the small town life, especially the life she leads as the daughter of its only sheriff, the long widowed Joe Ward. His rules and expectations fuel her rebellious nature even more, leading her to be named, “Most likely to end up in jail.” After Joe searches her bag and finds a half empty bottle of tequila, the two bitterly argue. Jo wants out; she hates the town and she hates her life as the sheriff’s daughter.
Flash forward twelve years and it is a different Jo Ward who is now sheriff of River Bend, but Jo’s internal struggles with the constrictions of small town life and being its ever-on-duty sheriff very much parallel the struggles of 18 year old Jo Ward.

How Jo finds her happily ever after match in Gill Clausen, solves the 15 year old murder of her father, and finally finds her own path in the world make for an interesting and engaging read. The mystery behind her father’s death is well plotted not too obvious. There are secondary storylines that help keep the reader guessing. I did ferret out a couple of the novel’s surprises but not all. Mel and Zoe, who were featured in the first two books, are present to offer support to Jo. I enjoy Miss Gina, a quirky old hippie who, for lack of a better term, is a mother figure of sorts for all the girls, though one who serves spiked lemonade.

This is a reliably enjoyable book and one that I recommend. I was given a free copy by NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. That said, I also purchased the book from Audible, which says a lot about how much I enjoy this series.

I couldn't wait for Jo's story. This story did not disappoint. There was passion, angst, fight, intrigue, friendships, deceptions, suspense, and did I mention passion.

I wished there was a little more of Ms. Gina. Gill is exactly what Jo needs and I loved how she didn't need to fight him because he knew how to handle her. Neither overstepped their boundaries.

this was a perfect end to the storyline. Jo really needed a strong match and he certainly was. I also liked that some important questions were answered too. Everyone should read this.
