This book took a unique approach to the subject of BDSM-in this case the Dom is the one who purestdelightawardfeels his Dominant needs make him a freak. We find out through the story there is a reason for his feelings.

He is totally unable to resist his attraction to the beautiful woman, but Allie has her reasons for avoiding commitment with powerful men and his efforts to win her regard backfire. He finds himself breaking his own rules to please her and eventually manages to convince her he is not the ogre she originally believes him to be.

But he has a secret-he is a Dom and part owner of a BDSM club. He only plays in the club with experienced submissives who will not expect anything more. With Allie, he believes he can bury that part of him and have a vanilla relationship.

Allie is keeping secrets of her own. She is half sister to a billionaire, who is also a Dom at Holt’s club, but she doesn’t want to make that connection known.

Can these two secretive people open up communication enough to actually have a relationship?

I liked both main characters. Holt was hot and far more sensitive to his woman’s needs than would be expected of someone in his position. I loved Allie’s independence and strength and her efforts to make sure the relationship works in spite of her pain. This is a most unusual BDSM book-there is only scene involving BDSM, and while the topic is key to the book, the author doesn’t overplay the action.

This was a great introduction to the Dirty Little Secrets series and a book to cherish.

This was a decent story and I somewhat enjoyed both the hero and the heroine, Ryder and Hadley. However, nothing really stood out making it a great book.

This might be my favorite of the series. Ryder is in charge of the Senator's security, and when the Senator's daughter is blackmailed, the attraction he feels for her is brought right to the forefront of his mind. Add in the fact that he knows she prefers the kind of sex that the does, and all bets are off.

This is a romantic suspense story that has it all - blackmail, intrigue, danger, and some very hot love scenes. We step away from the issues at the DC for a bit because there's bigger fish to fry and I think that helped make the story so enjoyable. I could enjoy it and then at the end, see how it all comes together, instead of trying to weave in both stories.

I'm intrigued to see where Gabe's story (and the end of the series) takes us.

This was such an exciting story! I was pulled in right away to the push and pull between Ryder and Hadley and I loved the element of mystery involved. It was awesome and I was hooked!

Hadley and Ryder had such amazing chemistry and I loved that building sexual tension between them. I liked the back and forth they had going on as feelings are fought. It made for some tense, heated moments. I really liked learning their backgrounds and the build to the story as everything developed. I loved them opening up and sharing as well.

I thought the writing was great. It's got an edge-of-your-seat build happening, lots of heat and intriguing characters. There is drama and emotion in play but it isn't overly deep, just the right amount to pull you in. This has been a really good series and I've enjoyed all the guys and I'm excited for what's to come next in the final book. I really liked the hook in the epilogue making me want to jump right in to Cuffed by His Charm.

This was a thrilling story that kept me on my toes with just the right amount of suspense mixed in. I really liked the characters, their back and forth and the want and need they had for one another. There was a great build, a lot of heat, drama and emotion. This had everything I enjoy in story: a bit of playfulness, great characters, a lot of sexy (so hot!), excellent drama, and perfect build that had me on the edge of my seat.

Sexy. Sweet. Unforgettable. I love this author and the stories she writes. Great chemistry. Undeniable attraction. Smoldering tension. Characters that make you feel everything. Highly recommended this book y'all!

I enjoyed this book. It pulled you right in and kept you turning the pages. This book was well written and I had no issues following the story.

A suspenseful romance type of read. Ryder is a sexy alpha male that wants what he has to protect., his employees daughter Hadley. Hadley lives a very risky lifestyle and that leads to trouble for her and her dads bodyguard Ryder. Restrained Under his Duty can be read as a standalone , although it is part of the Dirty Little Secrets series . Overall a good read, but not the best of Stacey Kennedy's work.

I have been looking for a good whodunnit book for a while. This definitely fit the bill. You don't have any idea until the author wants you to know, but she keeps you intrigued enough to keep reading and find out.I couldn't put down this book. Loved it!

Third series of Dirty Little Secret.
This one is about Ryder and Hadley. Ryder is top notch security specialist and he has been chief of security for well regarded Senator and his daughter. He knew Hadley since she was 5 years old. Now Hadley is all grown up and enjoying little bit of BDSM herself, but had a compromising photo sent to her email and she is worried it will cause more problem for her father.
Hadley has been mentioned in previous books as notorious wild child who enjoys his sex clubs and he knew all about her extra curricular activity and made sure she remain anonymous. Now her activities gets in her in hot water without her father finding out. Hadley has been taunting Ryder and she was his forbidden fruit. He was attracted to her but he duty came first before his desires.
Ryder is sensing there are more problems than just a simple email and he fears Hadley is in danger. He will make sure Senator and Hadley is safe and make sure he will get to the bottom of the problem.
As both get closer to the problems, they are getting closer together and Ryder is not sure if he can keep up. Just spending couple nights with her will not be enough for him.
But before he is pursuing everything Senator and Hadley is in danger. He didn’t keep the promise to keep them safe. More than ever he needs to get to Hadley before it’s too late.

I was glued to the book until the end. It was most intense book out of three. I enjoyed reading about all the DC council and I can’t wait to read the next one. They all have soft spot for their ladies and they are willing to risk everything for their love.

Ummmmm. Stacey Kennedy's books are my kindle crack. They are always HOT. Always SEXY. And always ADDICTING. I have followed the Dirty Little Secrets series from the beginning and honestly when I read the blurb for Restrained Under His Duty I k ew it would be fantastic!! Gahhh!! This story was sooooo hot and sexy and lord bodyguard and forbidden fruit stories are my kryptonite!!!! Ryder and Hadley were FIRE BLAZING hot!! I never wanted it to end!!

While Restrained Under His Duty is a standalone it does follow an ongoing mystery from the previous books. When Ryder Blackwood, Chief of Security to Hadley Winter's father (a Senator) comes across a sex tape video belonging to Hadley -the woman who has been the subject of his intense desire and longing - they uncover a diabolical plot to ruin her father. But when lines get crossed and danger follows them everywhere will Ryder be able to keep Hadley safe?

I really enjoyed this story and the fiery passion and attraction between Ryder and Hadley. Their banter was smart and sexy and I honestly was stuck to the pages from the getgo. This book was filled with suspense who is the person that is blackmailing the Senator's daughter?  Who is the person that has be leaking information to Gossip?  All of these questions will be answered by the end of the book. 
 
This is the third installment in the Dirty Little Secrets Series and it's one that left me in complete shock.  I couldn't believe the ending to this story and I can't wait to read the next book in this series.  Ryder Blackwood and Hadley Winters were perfect characters for each other.  It seemed that they balanced each other but first of all they had to pass through a couple of hurdles in order for them to have their happily ever after.  Hadley can be a brat but she knows what she did was wrong and now she might have to face the consequences but she really is hoping that Ryder will be able to save the day.  Now as for Ryder he is a dominate man that will soon be threading a thin line when it comes to being close to Hadley.  He is attracted to her but he works for her father he should be protecting the family not sleeping with the Senator's daughter.  But when Hadley is blackmailed and they start spending more time together that chemistry is too HOT for them not to do something about it.  I knew that the Senator would be okay with him seeing his daughter and I loved that about him.  All he wanted was for his daughter to be happy.  They are racing against time and they only have 24 hours to figure out who is blacking making Hadley and asking her to make her father retire.  They have 24 hours before the video is sent to her father and her world is torn to pieces.  Just when Ryder finds out who sent Hadley the email with the video that lead is a dead end but then everything falls into place but it comes with a tragic ending.  But that is not the end of this story, Hadley is in major trouble and Ryder is going to go insane. 
 
Restrained Under His Duty was a great read.  I loved seeing the four friends together again the only thing that I missed was seeing the women again.  I would have loved for Hadley, Allison and Taylor to have some girl time and see them bonding like the guys.  The chemistry between Ryder and Hadley was HOT, HOT and did I say HOT.  I'm so ready to read the final book in this series and see what Gabe is going to do with the information that Ryder has given to him.

Better than the second one, but I'm still disappointed by their lack of Dom-like attitude. Hadley is a acts a little young at time. The suspense and action were great. I absolutely love Ryder's hacker, Alex. I really want her to get a story. Overall it was good...now who's selling their secrets? Ryder gets a name, but are they guilty?

Restrained Under His Duty is the third novel in Ms. Kennedy's Dirty Little Secrets series, a spinoff from her Club Sin series, both are series I've read and followed and am following, and I'm happy to say that this installment is a huge improvement over book #2, and I give it 4.5 stars.

If you're new to either series, Club Sin is the creation of 4 men, who formed lasting friendships and who early on formed the Dominants Council--each of those men opening and running his own private BDSM club. The hero in this novel is billionaire Ryder Blackwood, who owns and operates Blackwood Security Services. He is currently working (gratis) for U.S. Senator Gary Winters, who is a close friend of his father's, and someone who is practically family to Ryder. In the year he's been working as security chief for Senator Winters, he's been attracted to and struggled to resist the temptation of the senator's daughter, Hadley, and it's not been easy. She's well aware of his leashed passion, and does everything she can to break his restraint--and in this novel she gets her wish.

When Hadley receives a blackmail threat--a video of her at one of the sex clubs being serviced by two masked men, and the warning that if she cannot get her father to resign his position, the video will be released to the press, she turns to Ryder for help. Ryder isn't at all fazed at learning about Hadley's kink, he's annoyed that he's not the one servicing her since he has his own kink. But now, as the two have to spend more time together trying to solve the mystery of who's been hacking her computer, who's been releasing photos to the gossip rags, who's behind the threat to out her and cause a scandal that will harm her father's reputation, who the mole is, and what to do about the aforementioned, this story moves from merely being another sexy BDSM novel to becoming a taut political mystery/thriller that kept me so riveted and intrigued that I kept reading it straight through the night until dawn.

As BDSM novels go, this was as mild a one as I've read in some time, but the developing relationship between Ryder and Hadley was certainly hot and sexy enough for this reader. The alternating narration also lands in the plus column for me because it allows you into their thoughts and motivations, and it's a style that I've come to appreciate over the past couple of years. In addition to the sexy scenes, there's also some graphic violence, but nothing more than you'd see in an R-rated suspense movie.

As novels go, this one doesn't disappoint and it works on many levels. It's well-written, well-paced, well-plotted, and for this reader, impossible to put down. While it can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the Club Sin novels and the previous installments of this spin-off series in the order they were written, because the leading characters in those novels all appear in this one, and knowing who they are and what they've been through makes reading this novel a much richer experience.

I really loved this book. The plot kept you on your toes to see who was the bad guy or guys. The romance also kept you on your toes to see if they would fall in love and stay together.

Ryder and Hadley are a pretty intense couple. She wants him and makes some major mistakes when she can't get him and he wants her... but is struggling with himself to stay away because he feels like not wanting her is the right thing to do.

This is a good book because it focuses on their romance all while solving a mystery that has been building as the series has continued.

I had been waiting for Ryder's story for a while, we first met him in the first book of the series, Bound Beneath His Pain, and there was just something about him that enticed me. It could have been his ruggish good looks or it could have been the fact that no matter what he is always there to help his friends out when they need him.

This was an enjoyable read but unfortunately not my favorite of the series. There was just something about Hadley and Ryder together that didn't pull me in, the chemistry was just ok for me. I totally enjoyed the sexy times don't get me wrong but I didn't feel the connection that I had felt with the other couples.

Restrained Under His Duty is the third book in the Dirty Little Secrets series but can be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading the series in order that way you have the back story on the secondary characters, there are events that happen in this book that may spoil things if you plan on going back and reading from the beginning.

Ryder has a problem. He is very attracted to the Senator’s daughter, a woman that is very off limits to him and could distract him from his job of protecting her father. Especially when he intercepts a video that is sent to her father.

Hadley works for her father, she does a great job of managing his calendar. To keep her mind off of Ryder and deal with his rejections she has a secret life that ends up coming back to haunt her with a blackmail scheme to get her father out of office.

Sometimes life happens, and reckless or not, you just gotta roll with it.

Ryder had to step up the protection for both Hadley and her father. He is surprised to find out that Hadley was a regular at one of his clubs. When Hadley finds out what Ryder’s sexual needs and desires are things really heat up. The sex between these two was burning up the pages.

We get suspense, danger, hot sex, light BDSM and some twists and surprises. It was great reading about these two and their journey to a HEA. I wouldn’t mind seeing more from this couple. Hadley was a strong and stubborn character and Ryder was a dominant who really knew what he wanted but it took danger and threats for him to finally act on them. I loved it and highly suggest you 1-click and get started today.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. I loved this book. I love all books by Ms. Kennedy! This is the third book in the Dirty Little Secrets series. In this book we focus on Ryder Blackwood the security guru and the Senator Winter's daughter Hayden. There is suspense, romance, angst and is high on the steamy factor. This book picks up from book 2. We know there is a mole, spying and pressure on the senator to retire. Hayden is threatened with a video of her playing at a sex club and Ryder's staff helps to figure it out. I highly recommend this book. It deserves more than the maximum 5 stars I can give it.
