I have read most of this, but only slowly, one story at a time. It is such a shame - the Amazon ‘look inside’ seems fine, but the Netgalley copy is missing lots of letters, any words with fi in have those letters removed, also th so any the is e, and a few others. It is extremely annoying, and I don’t understand why they didn’t replace it with a clean copy.
I am waiting until I get through the book to put a review on Amazon - eventually - but it’s hard to review when my reading experience was so bad. The short stories are old-fashioned, but quite interesting.
