I love all of Denise's books, they are easy to read and follow and you quickly fall in love with all the characters, this book wasn't any different! this is the second instalment of the Bachelor Brotherhood series and we get to hear how Matt (the last of the trio of best friends) falls in love.
Tyler a hard working young man and Lanie an equally hard working young woman both in their 30's find themselves in the situations and bumping into each other and both have an obvious crush on each other! can they work it out and find true love?
Tyler has his own string of women but when things go south with one and his buddies and him to vow to remain bachelors he knows this is what he needs to do no matter how many women his best friends fiancé sends his way. Lanie has seen how well relationships work just watching her parents relationship. Work seems to be up in the air for that matter, life seems to be up in the air. Can she figure it all out or is it just her cousin's coming wedding and all the events that is making her rethink everything?
This book is somewhat predictable and although its predictable its super good. Both main characters a broken and a searching and trying to find themselves even though they find them at a impasse. I loved Eric and how much he played a huge rule in the story. I really enjoyed the story and I really enjoyed how the characters didn't seem fake but more like catching up friends. This book does have adult language/scenes in it so it may not be suitable for all readers. I really enjoyed this group of friends and can't wait to read more. They are a close bunch of misfits just trying to keep it all together.
After having been greatly annoyed in the first book because of the fact that this series is an undisclosed spin off of the author's Wedding Pact series, I went into this hoping that this book would move past that and into something completely unrelated, but I felt like I was walking into the middle of things in this book too!
Tyler and Lanie meet at one of the many functions that Brittany has before her wedding. Problem was, I didn't understand who Brittany and her groom were to Tyler and Lanie and why they didn't just blow her off when they finally started getting together because of their attraction to one another, especially since it wasn't a secret that one of the other bridesmaids wanted Tyler back. Yup, I said back, and it should have clued me in that this would be a major angst and drama fest. I began to hate the wedding backdrop, especially with all the deception that Tyler and Lanie felt were necessary to "preserve" their standing in the wedding. I'm honestly not certain that I know why they felt that they had to be so deceitful!
I had a hard time connecting to Tyler and Lanie, and the story really dragged for me because of all the drama and lack of connection to the characters. The ending was again a bit abrupt for me and I was left feeling rather "meh" about the whole book. I don't think I would consider reading another book by the author, unless I got it from the library or something similar.
I received an ARC of Until You in exchange for an honest review. I usually love all of Denise's books and rate them five stars but this one fell a tiny bit short of perfect for me so I am giving it 4. The story-line of Until You is fun and light. Lanie (who doesn't want to settle down) and Tyler (pretty much a player) are in their friend's wedding together. One thing leads to another and they find they have a very strong attraction to one another. The Wedding Pact series and the first book in the Bachelor Brother's series were great. I always feel like I am revisiting old friends when I pick up the next book in the series because I love the characters and like catching up with them. However, this time I didn't feel as great a connection as I did in the past. I don't think that we really get to know any of the characters in this one. The only insight we get is that Tyler is a player and Lanie is afraid of commitment. I would have liked to hear more about the characters from the other books too.
If you have never read the rest of the series you could easily read this as a stand-alone book. Definitely worth reading and enjoyable. Great as we head into wedding season as an easy romance book. Four stars.

This is not only my first read in the Bachelor Brotherhood series, but my first Denise Grover Swank read ever.
Lanie and Tyler are the eternal bachelor and bachelorette, ever the commitment phobes, workaholics - you get the drill.
Until each other that is.
I adore the spark between them, from the first maiming till the last word. However they did frustrate me at times, particularly Lanie.
I think it was her workaholic tendencies, and her refusal to deviate from that. I could kind of understand it, but girl, you need to live a little.
Tyler was all kinds of swoony and romantic and lovely. Psycho hose beast exes and all.
Now, since I haven't read the first book, I can only go by her character in this second installment - What the hell Britt?? You may be all cute in the first book, but 95% of the time in Until You, I really, really disliked you. I wanted to tell you off for everyone else in the book. You grated on me and made it quite unpleasant to continue reading at times - but this could just be me.
I was Lanie and Tyler's big cheerleader as I was reading. I wanted them to pull their heads out and work on it, make it happen people!
Ms Swank's writing was good, the story flowed well, and I will be reading more of her in the future.
** going live on blog tour on 2nd June **
Just like Only You (Bachelor Brotherhood #1) and the entire Wedding Pact series, Until You is a fun romcom, and a fast read! I wanted to like it more from the start, but the relationship between Tyler and Lanie felt a little forced. They won me over in the end, but it took a while to get there. Given the ages of the characters in this series (mid-30s), I very closely relate with all of them. It's been fun to get to know the fellas, and I can't wait for the third book in the series this fall! ****Four solid stars!****
Tyler and Lanie are hot and have chemistry off the charts from the beginning. This is more than just a steamy romance though. Their chemistry is obviously there in bed, but their real chemistry comes in the friendship department. Swank is able to write these characters realistically in a way that makes the way they just understand and "get" each other easily be understood. Something else I love about the writing in this story is how the plot could feel contrived at times but still just feels like a misunderstanding. Finally, what makes this story great and keeps bringing me back to all of Denise Grover Swank books, is the humor. This is a Rom-Com to the core and a great summer read to sit back and relax and enjoy.
Hilarity ensues as two people who have been too busy, and had too many bad experiences, to ever fall in love find each other in a series of some very painful, but funny, situations.
This book hits all the notes a romcom should.
This is my first book by Denise Grover Swank, and I really enjoyed it. It’s a light and funny read with a sexy and sweet love story included. It’s well written with strong and loveable characters. I will definitely read more by this author. This is part of the Bachelor Brotherhood series of standalones, I want to read them all.
Tyler works hard, had a few relationships gone bad. He’s sweet and fun; before you know it you’re hooked. I fell in love with his easy going and go with the flow personality, especially in this fast paced relationship. His help with his brother just shows the lengths he’s willing to go to make things right, commitment to relationships that even he didn’t realize. The band……and…that moment…..Loved it!
Lanie's trying to keep this new relationship light and secret from friends, which I found funny because I felt it so strong from the beginning. Her life is kind of unsettled and she’s trying to figure so much out for her future. He of course adds another element to her decision making process. I love that before she knew it he was a big part of it. I felt kind of bad for her that her life was such a secret. I was happy when she could finally let it out and relieve that pressure, allowing others to help her see she had options in her career as well as personal life.
There are so many funny parts during the times they’re together you can’t help but laugh. I love how the author brings things back, ties things together. The pictures….that shoe……the beer……little things that made me smile again remembering what happened in the previous chapters. Their friends are funny too, all of them unknowingly part of this secret love story.
This is the second book of the bachelor brotherhood series and it could be read as a standalone. This book is a romcom and it had it's funny parts. Learning about Tyler's crazy ex and the exchanges that Tyler and Lanie had was hilarious. I can honestly say that I loved Tyler more than Lanie. Lanie is always so serious compared to Tyler I suppose which is weird since Tyler is an attorney but perhaps it's because he's a guy and he seems to be everyone's friend. I enjoyed their chemistry together and I can't wait to see what the next book is all about!!

book 2 in the bachelor brotherhood, until you, picks up the story of tyler norris. he's an ace corporate lawyer and after a relationship that ended with him having to go to court for a restraining order, he's a little leery of the ladies. when he meets lanie rogers while hiding from everyone at a friend's engagement party he is intrigued. the bride is her cousin and she also happens to be hiding from the parade of potential partners her cousin keeps throwing at her.
they don't exchange names or information. they only have a mild flirtation. but that chance meeting in the garage stays with each of them. and then they keep running into one another. when they are paired as partners during the prewedding pictures for the wedding they are both in, they give into their attraction.
for a confirmed bachelor like tyler, lanie is the perfect girl. she doesn't do long-term. her job keeps her moving. but tyler finds that he dreads thinking about lanie leaving. he's never felt more in sync with anyone. their relationship is so easy. they are playful and sexy and the easy way they slide into something serious feels just right. so can lanie put down roots? can tyler find a way to have it all?
both of them have some job intrigue that affects the outcome. and one of the reasons their relationship functions so well is that they share so many of the same values. they care about their jobs. they care about their friends and their families. they just have to stop running from something that might truly tie them down. and i love how they navigate this together. i didn't think it would be possible to top kevin and holly, who by the way make some nice appearances in this book, but tyler and lanie might just do it for me.
He's a reforming heartbreaker. She's a workaholic nomad. Neither have a romantic bone in their bodies. Until a wedding, a pact and a kiss lead to an attraction that is not to be missed. I've been head over heels for this band of brothers since Only You, made an appearance on my book shelf. Not only does Ms. Swank dish out some romance, she delivers on the bromance as well. Until You continues that instant connection of love, life and friendship that drives author Denise Grover Swank's novels. Both author and characters make it easy to fall in love with love.
I have chosen to DNF this title. I have really enjoyed other titles by this author, so I was surprised that I was not able to engage or relate to the characters in this story. I tried it 2 different times to make sure it was not the mood I was in, but both times I found myself skimming the story. I have chosen to DNF instead of a low rating for the title.
Thanks and I look forward to the next book through your company!

Until You by Denise Grover-Swank
This is the second book in Grover-Swanks Bachelor Brotherhood series and can absolutely be read as a standalone. It's the story of Tyler and Lauren: a lawyer and a super-secretive workaholic. Tyler and Lauren meet when they're thrown together for their best friend and cousins (respectively) wedding and the sparks between them are alight from the word go. While they try hold off on acting on their mutual attraction, they decide that since neither is attached or looking for anything permanent, why not spend the next month or so enjoying each other until Lauren moves to her next work obligation.
Where I enjoyed the previous book in The Bachelor Brotherhood, Until You was just an ok read for me. There were a few moments that induced laughter, but for the most part, I found it difficult to connect with the characters, and couldn't really believe the romantic connection between them. I'm finding it difficult to rate this book because while I think the actual plot was great, there was something lacking and the characters and their relationship just needed a lot more work. I understand that there was a sexual connection but it was the romance and love aspect I couldn't completely believe. Im looking forward to the next book in this series and hope it'll be a great one.

What is a girl and guy to do... Stuck at a wedding that goes on for DAYS... Both are cut from the no commitment cloth... she because she travels too much and is in a workaholic mode... Him because he is set to always be the Bachelor.
Naturally they hook up- naturally it is hot... and naturally they end up wanting more...
There is a hiccup of major proportions...but all gets resolved.
This is the second book in the Bachelor Brotherhood series and it comes from a spin off of the Wedding Pact series, which I loved.
This book we have Tyler, who is best friends with Kevin (Book 1) and Matt (Book 3). He is a groomsman in a wedding for one of his work colleagues and good friend, Randy. At a get to know the wedding party event, Tyler meets the lovely Lanie, cousin to the Bride - Brittany. Tyler is a lawyer, who is looking to make partner this year, and has been known to be a player. Lanie is also a workaholic, and has dedicated the last ten years to her job, opening designer boutiques for a large corporation. When these two meet, and spend some time together, they get to do a lot of "firsts" as it is the only relationship they have each had. But when their jobs become more demanding and could take Lanie away from Kansas City, things look doubtful for a HEA. Tyler will need to pull out the big grand gesture and a little fan fare to show Lanie how determined he is.
I am always happy to read a Denise Grover Swank book, and especially her contemporary romance / RomCom's. They have a light and breezy feel to them, and take me to a place of pure indulgence. This wasn't as funny as the others, but it still had the elements I need to escape into a book. I would loved to have read more about the yoga, and if the girls actually attended a lesson, and a little more on Kevin and Holly. I have missed the other characters, and want to know they are all doing great. I am anxiously awaiting Matt's story. I would recommend this book.
4.5 Stars!!!
I became aware of Denise Grover Swank's Bachelor Brotherhood series when I was asked to participate in the blog tour for the first book, Only You. I immediately fell in love with her brand of contemporary romance. It was smart, sassy and sexy -- three things I'm looking for when I'm reading a romance novel. I was very excited when I saw Until You was available to request on NetGalley. I've been waiting for this book since the moment I finished Only You.
In Until You, we get to know Kevin's best friend, Tyler. Tyler's a reformed manwhore who's dealt with his fair share of crazies. Being around Kevin and Holly, and now soon-to-be-married Randy and Brittany, has Tyler re-examining what kind of relationship he really wants in life. Meeting bride-to-be Brittany's cousin, Lanie, has Tyler feeling things he's never felt before. It's a good thing that Lanie is only here for a month. There's no promise of forever if Tyler acts on his attraction to her.
Lanie lives her life moving from place to place opening up a famous women's clothing store in secret. She's doesn't own a house or a car and she's completely satisfied with that. Lanie is very excited to have a sex only fling with groomsman Tyler. Or she was until she watched her best friend and cousin get ready for her upcoming nuptials. Now, Lanie finds herself wanting more than her nomadic life. Maybe a chance at forever with a certain sexy groomsman.
Until You was a humorous romance. You had two people who kept getting paired together who were sexing it up in secret. Every interaction they had outside the bedroom had some sort of crazy disaster. I can't count the number of times I found myself laughing or shaking my head. It was so much fun to read!
I loved both Lanie and Tyler. Both were workaholics who only had time for sex. Luckily, the sex they had together was so amazing that other parts of their lives started drifting together. They were on the same page for pretty much the whole book and I loved that. Their chemistry propelled the entire story forward. I enjoyed every minute of it.
My only complaint about Until You was how the story wrapped up. It was a good, strong ending with as much humor as the rest of the book. I just didn't like how quickly the conclusion came. Everything fixed itself in one outlandish moment, and I kept thinking to myself that amount of crazy doesn't happen all at once. It was sweet, though; and entertaining.
If you're a fan of contemporary romances and haven't yet read the Bachelor Brotherhood series, I highly recommend you read it. It's a stellar series wrapped around, but not consumed by, weddings.
I didn't want this book to end. It was so good. You will meet Lanie and Tyler. Two people running form the same things in Life. They both find themselves in a wedding frenzy. What you find yourself doing for friends and family. SMH. The rollercoster of emotions they got through is a bumpy ride and at one point I was in shock with the way they where going. I kept think of Joey from Friends when reading Tyler. This book does also have some great laughs. It is a great book of strong friendships. I spent all day going back to my kindle looking for more. I just couldn't believe I had finished it. Everyone should pick up this book.
There's nothing better than two people swearing off romance and then finding that one person they can't resist. From the first moment they met, you wanted this couple together. You'll definitely fall in love with Lanie and Tyler. The flow of the story was perfectly timed and the happy ever after is the thing of dreams.
There was nothing wrong with this book, the characters were by-and-large engaging and the plot moved along well but it didn't really grab my attention. I think part of my frustration was that I knew that the characters were somehow connected to one of Denise Grover Swank's other series' but I didn't recall how (it kept niggling at me).
Tyler Norris is a hot-shot lawyer and a groomsman at his best friend's imminent wedding. It's one of those weddings that goes on and on and on and, in this case, involves several pre-wedding photo shoots with Holly and Kevin Vandemeer (who are definitely from another book but I can't find out which one! EDIT: [book:Only You|29246615]).
Lanie Rogers is a workaholic. She works for a chain of fabulous women's clothing shops and is in charge of opening new stores. Each store is kept a well-guarded secret until the day it opens, generating lots of publicity. As a consequence she has spent the last few years living in rented accommodation and travelling around the continental USA. The secrecy surrounding her job means that Lanie can't talk about what she does or why she is in town. Her best friend Brittany is getting married and Lanie is one of the bridesmaids.
Tyler and Lanie meet at a couple's wedding shower for Brittany and Randy when Tyler goes into Randy's garage to get one of his imported beers from the garage fridge and finds Lanie hiding from Brittany and her match-making.
Thrown together time and again because of the extended wedding shenanigans Lanie and Tyler are attracted to each other, but he is a commitment-phobe and she is leaving once her new store opens. Lanie's career is at jeopardy if the store doesn't open on time because she has a new boss who seems determined to make her fail, then one of the other shops in the mall files an injunction to stop them opening. Of course, Tyler's firm is filing the injunction but neither of them knows about the other.
As I say, this was OK but after I had finished the book it just slipped my memory. I have now read the last paragraphs about four times in an attempt to remind me what the book was all about!
