I enjoyed this collaboration of FAN FIC authors stories. It introduced me to some authors I haven't read before and found it cute about using current POP culture to create these fun short stories. A quick fun read.

This book is all fanfic - celebrity encounters starring YOU - written in the second person so that you can pretend you are the main character. I love the idea but I'm not sure why a book that is called 'Boy Band Babes' starts out with a story about Justin Bieber. I tried and tried to pretend it was Justin Timberlake but "I" kept squealing Justin Bieber! at him so that didn't really work out.

The book contains 6 stories and actually 3 of them are not about boyband members at all - Zac Efron, Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes. The other 3 I only really know who 2 are - Zayn and Niall from One Direction (and I think the last is from 5 seconds of Summer but I never really got into them.)

The stories were cute (the Justin one was all about how he set up a scavenger hunt with clues for their 2nd wedding anniversary) but I think I would have enjoyed them more as just regular guys and regular girls without the celebrity aspect. Justin Bieber's was by far the longest one, the rest were pretty quick and kind of had a choose your own adventure vibe to them as well.

Imagines continues and now with Boy Bands. To be honest, I only read the Zach Efron story and it was amazing. I don't really enjoy much the way this imagines stories are written (personal POV), but I could get into this story and really felt like the main character of it.

So this one had me interested in reading it when I read that it was "Fanfiction at its best, from your favorite Wattpad authors." I enjoyed this one. I read all the author bio first, which I rarely do. There are six different stories by six different authors featuring pop stars. The stories are told in second person point of view and you are one of the characters. I had never read a book in the second person pov. It was a little weird at first and took me a little to get into it. For me I thought that some of the stories would have been better if they were told in a different pov. Overall I enjoyed the stories. It's a fun read. My favorite was Let the Hear Lead the Way, I loved the story-line in that one the most.

Imagines: Boy Band Babes is a fun fan fantasy that features you as the star. This book makes you the main character along side Justin Bieber, Zayn Malik, Michael Clifford, Niall Horan, Zac Efron, and Shawn Mendes! I found this book a fun and up beat kind of read. I have to admit that this is not my usual pick for a book. The authors are really creative with the story lines, settings, and making you feel like you really are in a relationship with these leading men. Again, this is a fun read if you are looking for something to make you smile and laugh out loud at times.
