3-1/2 Stars - Only Sawyer Bennett could make a remote little town in Alaska feel like the most warm and inviting place to be. Valentine and Logan are adorable together in this big city girl meets the backwoods sticks of Alaska. Their initial interactions and slow burn chemistry was well written and grabbed my attention right away. A slew of side characters are brought into this mix on this one but only add to the fun and don't take anything away from our hero and heroine. As always Sawyer Bennett delivers with some smoking hot love scenes that will certainly make you fan yourself. The drawback that I had on this one was that there just didn't seem to be enough plot going on other than Valentine adjusting to her knew surroundings and her relationship with Logan. There were snippets where she had run ins with other characters and some drama ensued but it just kind of fizzled away and I think that there could have been more there. The end conflict was a little weak and was wrapped up a bit fast and easy for my liking. Overall this was still a fun, sexy and entertaining read just not as fantastic as so many of Bennett's other books (of which I have read them all) as it just seemed to be missing a few of her magic elements!

Well, it's the first time in a long time that I've pulled an all nighter, I started this book and I couldn't stop. One of my favourite authors releases a new book, the start of a series no less, and it was so so addictive. It was fun and sexy in dual POV, the writing was perfect and I could not put it down.
When super rich Valentine French decides she needs inspiration for both her blog and her dating life, her cousin suggests a change in scenery. Val is sick of New York and all the metrosexual men who are too involved in themselves to ever be interested in putting anyone else first. So when her cousin booked her getaway and it wasn't Paris or Milan, but a small town in the back of beyond in Alaska (there's not even a taxi service), she is not overly impressed. What this town does have in abundance however, is men, in fact there are 15 men to every 1 woman, meaning that she can get more ammunition for her dating blog. What she wasn't expecting however, is Logan Burke, the Hot has hell, sexy and gentlemanly, alpha Chief of Police. All of a sudden things start to get complicated in the funniest of ways. I loved the characters, Logan is the perfect book boyfriend, and Val is the perfect challenge. I can't wait for the next book in the series. I was provided with an advance copy of this book via the author from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Can this author write a character I don't love? Think not! Logan was a "huge" hit for me, I loved him and his Alaskan alpha male ways. Valentine...I enjoyed parts of her personality and liked her most in the last few chapters but her and Logan together was great. In Sawyer Bennett's true fashion you'll laugh, you'll lust and you'll love this world she's created.
