Catch a Tiger by the Tail is a short quick read. Broderick (Brody) is a tiger shifter who is an accountant but also works for the Lycan alpha of the city. I loved Brody. Some of things out of his mouth are super funny. His inner dialogue was equally funny, I'm glad we could get into his head and see what he was thinking. He's sent to audit the books of a gentleman’s club. Lulu is running the club. Lulu is a strong, take no crap type of woman. I loved her. As much as Brody dishes out, she dishes it right back. She just happens to be Brody's mate. She's some convincing that she and Brody belong together. She also has a secret and I was guessing along while I read to try to figure out what she was hiding. I didn't guess it and was surprised when it came. This one has romance and suspense wrapped up together to make a great story.

This was previously published in the anthology Wild, so if you have already bought that book-this is the same book. Broderick is hired to go over the books of a gentleman's club that is run by Lulu. His mobster boss thinks that someone is taking money, and all signs seem to point to Lulu! What he doesn't expect is for Lulu to be his mate, especially since she is a human with no knowledge of who or what he is. This is definitely a book that showcases Eve Langlais's classic humor and snarky heroine's! I love how Lulu can kick butt and how she is able to think though difficult situation's, even when they don't seem to make sense! She has some secrets of her own that will throw Broderick for a loop just as much as his secret throws her. I love how this author incorporates not only the paranormal romance aspect of books that I love but she inserts comedy in there and makes it so much more. Definitely well worth the read.

Who says accountants can’t be sexy? Tiger shifter Broderick may love chasing numbers and hunting down discrepancies but he is also sexy as hell. When he meets Lulu the sexy human manager of the gentleman’s club he has been sent to audit his tiger sits up and begs. Too bad somebody doesn’t want the audit to happen and doesn’t care who they hurt while preventing it. Brody isn’t the only one with secrets and Lulu’s is a doozy. Watching Brody try to seduce Lulu is laugh out loud funny.

Story started out slow but once it got interesting, it really took ok off. Lulu and Brody have a sweet relationship that survives n enemy bound to destroy them. Give this book 4 Meows!

Ms. Langlais makes me laugh out loud with her unique characters and settings. I loved that this book revolved around a human h who seriously knew how to kick butt and keep herself safe in most situations. She doesn't need romance she's a straight up Tomboy, or so she thinks. Then she meets Brody, at the barrel end of her 9mm.

I loved that the Tiger H was sweet with a deadly core, who didn't need to throw that out to impress his girl. I thought they were well balanced, he was perfect for her, watching her beat up a bad guy is all in a days courtship. Plus he still brings a girl flowers and Godiva and applauds her moves..

Then the fact that I did not guess her secret was a shocker to me. I totally thought a different aspect to that so thumbs up EVE! My game is to guess the twists and I did not guess that here.

I cant wait to read more from this writer. She has me in stiches every time, because "Meow" she's got sharp wit.

This is a novella length read that was previously released in another anthology WILD.

Fast, fun and frisky read, Catch a Tiger by the Tail is what I've come to expect from Eve Langlais. The characters are quick witted and flat out fun. The romance is hot and heavy with lots of sheet and or up against the wall time. And, there is a strong plot that keeps you invested in the outcome. Well balance, enjoyable and just what you need after a long day in reality.

Ok this story was previously available in the anthology Wild and as far as I'm aware hasn't been expanded in any way so if you own that book save your money but if like me it's a new to you story then be prepared for laugh out loud outrageous flirting as Brody finds his Mate!
I really enjoyed reacquainting myself with this world of shifters and as big bad wolf and mob boss Fabian discovers something fishy going on in a club he owns he sends in his favourite accountant to sniff out the thief. Weretiger Brody is stunned by the redhead who greets him waving a gun but nothing is going to stop him from charming the pants off her! Ok she might be a thief but that's ok if he has to go on the lam with her then so be it but what if she's innocent? Well it turns out that Lulu isn't exactly telling the truth and her secret will send Brody reeling!
This author always makes me smile and even though it was a quick read nevertheless yet again there's enough romance , plot and mayhem to thoroughly entertain me. Poor Lulu , so stumped by all the 'new' terms for the gangs that Brody uses. You can't fault Brodys honesty though and he certainly has his work cut out getting Lulu to purr! Lulu is feisty , independent and very much a woman in control and their interactions were such fun. Yet I do wish it had been longer as there's still a lot in play but hopefully if we ever get Fabian's book my questions will be answered. For now though it's a happy ending for this couple and it was such fun seeing the geeky accountant show how he could roar!

This was a great quick read. I really loved the main characters, Lulu and Brody. Lulu brought the right amount of sass to the situation that had me laughing out loud at times. Brody was a definite charmer who would do anything to keep his mate - including rescue her in his tiger suit.

I loved the fact that Lulu was no wilting flower - when things got tough, Lulu was right in the middle of the fray. Brody made accountants attractive - if all accountants are like him, then I need one to help me with my checkbook. The wordplay between the two of them was really cute. While Brody had a secret in being a shifter, Lulu had a secret of her own that kept me guessing until the end.

I look forward to the next book and see how the alpha meets his mate.

What a hoot! Had me chuckling all throughout. So fun to have snarky dialogue between a shifter and his human mate. With this one there are several different groups of shifters: tiger, wolf, bear (grizzly and black), and to add more there are mob connections. Hard to put this one down. Highly recommend this book and author. Eagerly await the next in the series.

I received a copy of this book in exchange of an honest review from Netgalley. The story is of Brody and Lulu an tiger shifter and an undercover cop. Brody is hilarious nerd shifter, and his pun to poor Lulu would leave you in stiches. It is a fun sexy story, that a fan of Eve Langlais would love, and anyone who love paranormal, particularly cat shifter would love this! All in all a fun read, for anyone a fan of paranormal story particularly Eve Langlais.

This is a funny, sweet, fast little novella, previously published in the Wild anthology. Lulu is a human and comes from a family of cops that is working in a gentleman's club. Broderick/Brody is tiger but also not your typical geeky accountant for a shifter mobster. As soon as Lulu walks into her office to find Brody going through her stuff she doesn't take kindly to it, but Brody instantly recognizes her as his mate. But as he does his work things aren't always as they appear or are they?

This is a super fast read, hard to put down. I'm a big fan of the author and read all her books. This is silly and fun just like pretty much all her books. One of my go to author's, hard to stay in a bad mood reading her books. Though I enjoyed the hell out of this novella, I think it had the makings of a full length book and wished it was longer. The only other minor thing I wished was a little more info on them at the end. I personally love hearing what happens to the characters and not just at the moment, gives me a kind of closure at the end of the story. If you like light, fun reads, you will love this book!! You never know what will happen when you catch a tiger by his tail. Lulu finds out when she gets involved with Broderick. In this short story both Lulu and Broderick have secrets that lead to some laughs out loud moments. Broderick knows Lulu is his mate but she is human and just does not want to believe him even though she also feels the bond. There is enough world building and backstory to support the plot. The ending did make me wonder if there is a story for another character in the works. This is a nice short read. Pick it up for when you don't have time for a long books but need something to lighten your mood.
