Here we go with my fav trope....fake to real! We've got hot millionaire biker Hawke who proposes marriage to his new stepsister, Amy, within minutes of meeting her. Why does he do this? Because Amy's mom is wife number 9 and he needs to gain control of the family business and the only way he can do this is by being married. Amy accepts the proposal and off we go falling in love!!!

I liked Amy. She was a ballerina with a hot streak. She gave as good as she got. Hawke was a bit of a jerk. All the way through this too. I get his trust issues, but if he had just asked questions and pushed her to answer, they wouldn't have had any trouble. His groveling was good though (and ya'll know how much I LOVE a good grovel scene lol)

I've had Candace Havens on my TBR for a while. I'll be moving her other stuff up the list since I really did enjoy this one :)

*thanks to the publisher for sharing a copy of this with me*

Hawke is tired of his father's marriages, with each divorce he needs to rush take back shares of the family business and now his father's married for the ninth time. To try to avoid that the actions of his father have serious consequences, he wants to have majority control and for this he discovers that he needs to marry, something that in no hypothesis he thinks to do.

Amy is a ballerina in a big company in Paris, after a knee injury, she needs to recover for the next season and discovers that a great specialist in the area works in Austin. Since her mother has just married an entrepreneur in this area, she asks for help in getting the physiotherapy she needs.

What she did not expect was that she would met the hot, handsome motorcyclist who happens to be her stepbrother now, her life would change so radically. He proposes a business marriage to Amy so he gets the shares he needs and she gets money to help her brother.

The book at first seemed a bit cliché, full of strong attraction at first glance and sensual scenes and every page read I wondered how the point of conflict would be, I had practically the plot and the whole end in my head ... .hahahahaha .... when suddenly the writer presented something quite different and totally surprised me.

I liked the reading too much , it was super fast with a light and simple writing that ended up holding me in the curiosity to see what would happen in end of the plot. The romance between them is cute , lovely and romantic, Hawke reveals fascinating, protective and careful guy, which has conquered me and Amy too, unfortunately. I want him only for me of course.
A great book hangover cure.

This marriage of convenience romance was hot! It has explosive chemistry between Hawke and Amy and some funny laugh out loud moments that made this a sexy good read.

It was slightly taboo, what with Amy’s mother recently marrying Hawke’s father and them technically being step-siblings, but they were both adults and were never raised together so it wasn’t made into a huge focal point of the story.

I loved watching Hawke with his extended family (his father’s been married 9 times so he’s accumulated quiet the collection of step-siblings) their interesting family dynamic is something I’d love to explore with the rest of his family.

If you like steamy, short and sweet romances with a HEA I cannot recommend this one fast enough! Loved the progression of their relationship and their problems were solved in a realistic way that proved they were in it for the long haul. This has great smexy times *fans self*, a bunch of awesome supporting characters and just the right amount of humor to keep in light and fluffy ;)

I guess this one just wasn't for me. It's my first from this author. I know the Entangled Brazen books are usually on the shorter side, and I typically like that about them. But, I think this would have benefited from a little more length in order to insure the author could do more showing and less telling.

Hawke owns a string of motorcycle shops, along with his father. His father has been married 9 times, and Hawke has accepted many, many step-siblings over the years, and made them a family. As the oldest, he felt it was his duty. But, now, his dad has run off and gotten married again, without telling him. That wouldn't be an issue except for the fact that the last wife tried to steal their company when she left, and Hawke is not having it. If he gets married, he can get controlling shares away from his dad and take over, to make sure the company is never in jeopardy again. But he's never had any plans to get married.

Amy is the daughter of Hawke's father's new wife. She is a ballet dancer in France, but she's injured, and she's in town to get physical therapy. She was told she could stay in the house by her new stepfather, but she expects to be alone. She isn't. Also, her brother's in a tight bind and needs to borrow money she doesn't have. She's not sure what she's going to do about it. Then she meets Hawke, and they decide to help each other out.

Amy and Hawke have some chemistry, but I just wasn't understanding their connection. He mostly just acts like a dick, and then she gives him a hard time, but forgives him. I wasn't really connecting to their coupling. They were both keeping secrets, which was understandable given their situation. But, even once they'd settled into a routine and started to get comfortable with each other, neither of them offered up their truths. I felt like a lot of this story was telling, and not showing. We heard about things after the fact, and it severely lessened the impact of them, in my opinion. I just never really connected to either character, separately, or as a couple, so it was hard to care much about them, or their relationship.

Everything just moved so quickly. I liked the idea of some of the side characters, but I don't feel like I saw any of them long enough to get attached. The whole thing just fell a little flat for me. That being said, I would be willing to read something else from this author. Especially in a longer format, where maybe she had more time and space to develop her characters, and their relationship, a little more.

This is not my first read by this author nor will it be my last.

Hawke and Amy have a marriage of convenience.
Both characters have their reason behind this marriage and I found them both to be endearing.
Short but full and descriptive.
Her characters and the story will draw you in quickly and not leave you wanting at all.
Another great read by Candace Haven.
I have added her to my list of must read authors.

He tried to act all tough and mean, but he was the biggest softie she'd ever met.

There’s just something so charming and swoonworthy about a gruff, tough man with a soft underbelly. It makes me smile, and so did All I Want Is You.

This is a super fast read. It's not deep, it's not angsty, but it is hot, fun and kinda adorable. The pacing is, at times, a little too speedy—it moves so fast it's hard to make a connection with the characters—and some of the dialogue is a little stilted for my liking, but, on the whole, the story of Hawke and Amy is enjoyable.

I loved the idea of Hawke, this tattooed, bad boy/motorcycle millionaire, being a protector, a problem solver, a big ol’ softie, and it paid off here. He was so easy to like, even when he was being a jerk. And Amy was a good match for him, making it impossible not to want a HEA for them.

Perhaps with a little more time and development, I could have loved them. As it stands, I liked them a whole heap, and I was charmed by this quick and dirty book, my first from Candace Havens, by Hawke—that teddy bear—and I closed this one feeling light, happy and even a little swoony.

“For a tough motorcycle dude, you're so romantic.”

What’s it About? Hawke Vance looks like a bad boy with his sexy tattoos and his love for motorcycles but at heart he loves his family and the family business so he’ll do whatever it takes to protect both. When his father gets married for the ninth, Hawke decides to take immediate action to make sure his new stepmom isn’t going to take what doesn’t belong to her, but for that Hawke needs a wife. Luckily a candidate has landed in his path, or his pool. Amy Powell is on vacation while recovering from an injury but when she’s caught skinny dipping by the owner of the house she’s staying in, she’s anything but relaxed. When Hawke offers her money to help her brother in exchange for her hand in a temporary marriage, Amy agrees but puts in a few stipulations of her own, one being that even thought the marriage is fake, they’ll indulge in some very real sex.

Overall reaction to the story? A marriage of convenience romance is difficult to pull off in a contemporary romance yet Havens manages to not only make it believable but sexy and fun as well. She has a drop dead sexy leading man and a strong, witty leading lady which to me is more important than the leading man (sorry Hawke). Simply put, I LOVED All I Want is You. Candace Havens is a new to me author that I picked up on a whim and I’m so glad I did!

Describe the hero in five words: Alpha. Stubborn. Funny. Loyal. Considerate.

Did you like him? Yes.

Why? Hawke is all man, sexy, confident, a little bossy, and loyal to his family. I expected that but what I didn’t expect was his fun side. It’s subtle but he gives Amy a gag gift just to see how she reacts. That was something that added to Hawke as a character because I can count in one hand how many alpha males have a sense of humor. Most of them just brood and act sexy, and I’m not going to lie, Hawke can brood with the best of them and his sexiness is off the charts but he had a very sweet side to him too. And as he fell for Amy, he became absorbed in what made her who she was as a person. She wasn’t a thing to him or worse, a possession that he could mold into what he wanted, Hawke wanted to know her as a person, which was way more sexy to me than the brooding.

Describe the heroine in five words: Tough. Snarky. Smart. Talented. Fun.

Did you like her? Yes.

Why? I’ve never encountered a tough ballerina before in a romance. They’re always these prim, somewhat snooty characters who seem like they’ll snap in two if you say “Boo” to them. Amy was so not like that! I loved her spunky attitude! She was the complete opposite of what I expected her to be and it was awesome! She is totally what I want to see in a heroine who is at a bit of a disadvantage with the hero. Amy didn’t take Hawke’s crap and her reaction to his gag gift was priceless I tell you! I had so many moments where I was mentally cheering her on because she was so cool and badass! I can’t say enough good things about her, she was just so much fun and I could totally see why Hawke fell in love with her. She’s just one of those characters you wish you could be best friends with in real life.

Let’s talk about the romance: Hawke and Amy burn up the pages. Not going to lie, these two are so combustible together and that chemistry has a lot to do with Amy being the way she is. An alpha male needs an alpha female and dang if these two weren’t a match. But physical combustion aside, they genuinely spent time together out of bed where they just hung out. I loved those moments just as much as the ones where they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. It was easy to believe they were falling in love during those quiet moments where they were just being together, doing every day couple things like Hawke taking Amy on a tour of his business.

How about that supporting cast? Hawke and Amy are pretty much the only characters in All I Want is You but there are appearances by Hawke’s father and Amy’s mother who married each other and inadvertently set off Hawke’s crazy idea of a marriage of convenience to Amy. Hawke also has a number of step siblings but only a handful of them appear. I’m really hoping Candace Havens turns this book into a series and writes about Hawke’s step siblings because I find I’ve become emotionally invested in Hawke’s family. And I’m not kidding.

Click It or Skip It? Click It. I’ve been reading Brazen books for awhile and Candace Havens stands out as one of the best ones. All I Want is You has a whole lot of heat and a whole lot of heart.

I really enjoyed this one! Loved the first meeting of Hawke and Amy. He's a rough Harley riding guy and she's a rehabbing ballerina and they truly are opposites but the one thing they have in common is their parents seem to fall in and out of love with ease. To protect and get controlling interest in the family business Hawke needs a wife. Meeting Amy has him coming up with a plan that could benefit both of them.

This is a light, sexy, quick read that will keep you completely entertained. Nothing to deep but definitely enjoyable. Recommended read.

Candace Havens delivers another fun & fun read that will suck you in and keep you turning the pages till the end.

There was something about the smoking hot chemistry between Hawke and Amy that thought they are polar opposites made them perfect for each other and watching them realise this was an absolute treat.

This is the perfect lazy afternoon read for anyone who loves a good marriage of convenience turned real trope.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher via Netgalley for review.

Enjoyable read with a sexy main male character. I do love the "sworn off matrimony forever" trope, but then they of course do the opposite and try to resist each other. It always makes for some great tension.

This was a super faced paced book about Hawke Vance, who will do whatever it takes to make sure his father doesn't ruin his family's company. After marriage number 9 to someone he just met, Hawke has decided he needs to take over the family business. To do so, he must get married to get the rest of the company shares.

Amy Powel is the daughter of wife number 9 and his new step sister. This doesn't stop Hawke from coming up with a plan to marry her, get control of the company and give Amy the 50 grand she needs to help out another step brother.....

If you know me, you know I am not into the step romance thing. So, that was a huge strike against this book.

I would have liked this story more if they were not related .... it is a turn off for me.

The concept of this book is so far fetched of a concept that makes it difficult to really relate to the characters. The characters they are about taking care of the step brothers and sisters not really a family unit just two people who are acting like parents to these step brothers and sisters. It is hard to really get invested in this story line since it is all a fake wedding and relationship until it isn't. But by that point in the book my eyes were glazed over and I was ready for it to be over. It has plenty of steamy scenes and heat but books need to be a little bit more then just sex and talking about sex, and describing how much he wants sex and all that entails. I just wanted more romance, more relationship, more conversation about who they are and want to be.

Hawke has spent most of his life trying to clean up his dad’s messes. And by messes, I mean his dad’s countless gold digging wives. He’s had to step in more than once to keep the newest ex from getting away with a controlling portion of their very successful business (bike shops and custom work). Yet even though he’s despised each new woman his dad married, he’s never turned his back on his many step-siblings, even long after the divorce papers were finalized. He watches out for his brothers and sisters, and has put many of them through college. But that might all be in jeopardy, as his dad has just gotten hitched again; what if this one finally manages to take the business, and therefore their very comfortable (read: wealthy) life away when she goes? The quickest way for him to get more shares is to take a wife, a provision his mother left in her will – marry, and stay married for 2 years, and he can get her shares. The problem is, Hawke has no intention of getting married, doesn’t trust or believe in it after all he’s seen. But if taking on a wife means the ability to keep his family and business safe, then he may just have to bite the bullet.

Enter Amy, the woman he’s decided he wants – not for a real marriage, of course, but since he’s attracted to her so much and she’ll be heading back to Paris in a few months to continue her ballet career, it’ll work out perfectly, fulfilling the obligations for the will, saving his company’s future, and giving him a few months with his tempting new wife, before they part ways until they can get a divorce. Simple, straight forward, with no expectations or emotions. Or so they both think.

Oh, did I forget to mention that Amy is his new step-sister? Yeah, that wasn’t in the blurb, so perhaps I should have said SPOILER first, but I think that’s something that should probably be in the description. The kind-of-taboo step-sibling trope isn’t for every reader; hell, it’s not even my thing, but I must admit, ultimately it didn’t bother me too much here because their parents just now get married, rather than them being step-siblings at a younger age and growing up together. Still, I never quite stopped giving the sneaky blurb side eye for that surprise. But I know that there are those who love this trope, so to each their own.

While this was a quick and easy read, I can’t really say that much stood out for me. It was okay, it was engaging enough to keep me flipping the pages with minimal-to-no skimming, and I never felt like throwing the book at the wall (hey, there have been others this year that caused that reaction, so it’s worth mentioning!).

The thing is, I felt like this entire book was too short and rushed, not allowing time for anything to be really fleshed out. I felt like this one could have been something more, but ultimately fell short – both in pages and execution. There were things that were mentioned in passing and should have been addressed at some point, but never were. Admittedly nothing too big, but even if it's just minor things in the story, it tells me that the story's not as tight as it should be.

There were parts that bothered me because it was clear they were put in only to make the story go the direction the author needed it to, rather than being, you know, completely plausible. For example, he hires someone to look into her background (remember, he’s been scarred by his father’s multiple gold diggers in the past so he doesn’t really trust any woman up front) yet the person couldn’t figure out that the man she’s trying to help is her step-brother from her mother’s previous marriage, nor did he find out who she is – or rather, who her mother is, and why there’s no way she’s a gold digger. Seriously, did he hire this investigator from DIY Background Check Inc or something? Also, when his black card is stolen, and he assumes she’s trying to steal his money by making all these charges, even as she denies ever having had the card in the first place, I just rolled my eyes. When charges start popping up, especially for places nowhere near where you live, you cancel the card. But no, he’s convinced she’s lying and does have the card and he just leaves the card active, thus allowing the thief to keep using it down in Mexico. Obviously it’s done for the drama of the story – oh no, he still doesn’t trust her, blah blah blah – but it just felt like overkill.

The last issue I had was when he realizes that she was a virgin, and he has this moment:

And she was twenty-two, almost twenty-three. How had she not had sex before? She was a dancer who’d traveled the world. They were like gypsies.

UGH. Enough with the judging people by their age versus sexual experience! This happens a lot, and recently another book I read lead to my little Twitter rant on it, but I will never NOT call a book out for it. So, again, for the people in the back: There. Is. No. Requirement. For. When. You. Lose. Your. Virginity. Can we stop with this idea that a virgin, at any age, is a mythical unicorn to make fun of or pity? Everyone has their reasons, and there’s nothing wrong with being a virgin, I don’t care if you’re fresh out of college or nearing your 90th birthday!

But also, referring to that same quote: Don’t use gypsy like that. Don’t use it period. Gypsy refers to a cultural identity, not just a word to throw around for someone who doesn’t stay in one spot. Especially because the way that paragraph was worded, it sounds like he’s not just saying dancers are like gypsies because of the traveling but also because of their sexual experience. So double no to that.

Overall: there’s nothing terribly bad about All I Want Is You, but I also didn’t find anything to write home about. And, as pointed out above, there were parts that bothered me. The rest of the time, it was just okay. If you like a step-sibling romance and/or a marriage of convenience story, this one might work for you.

Loved this book! This is a fast read that tells the sexy tale of Hawke, who owns (mostly) a string of motorcycle shops that are threatened by his father's marriage. He encounters Amy, a lovely but injured ballerina, skinny dipping in his pool. Amy needs a place to stay while she heals and her newest step-dad offers up his house, but never tells her that Hawke actually owns it.

What follows is a yummy romance with plenty of sexy sparks. Turns out they'll both get something from a marriage of convenience, but neither gets what they're expecting.

This is a sassy and sexy book that I just loved. Fans of the genre will want to snag this one and put it at the top of their list. It's the first book I've read by this author, but it won't be the last - I'm adding her to my must read authors' list.

All I Want Is You by Candace Havens was a good read with a story that was fast in pace which often made the tale a bit unconvincing in some of the scenes. I liked both the main characters of Hawke and Amy, but overall would have liked more story for their characters.

All I Want Is You by Candace Havens is a quick but complete read as well as sweet and sexy. This was my first time reading this author and I enjoyed it.

All I Want is You has a very nice start and good pace, however about halfway through the story things became rushed and hurried, and this continued through to the end of the book. Ms. Havens did a wonderful job of putting together a solid storyline, defined world and great characters that engage you and suck you into the story. Had the story continued forward with the same momentum as it started and not become rushed then this would have been a hands down 5* read. Definitely a story worth reading because honestly 4 stars is still pretty damn snazzy :p

Please note that an ARC was generously provided in exchange for an honest review of which this is both honest and completely voluntary.

How I loved this story! This was my first time reading this author and it won't be my last. The writing is descriptive and keeps you wanting more. All I Want Is You pulled me in right away and I couldn't get enough. Amy, the ballerina is not only good on her toes but she has Hawke, her new stepbrother spinning on his. She's a spitfire and anytime he tries to shock her, she gets him back leaving his mouth hanging. This story had me laughing and loving every minute of their pretend relationship/marriage, but who will have the last laugh? I hope the author has plans for a series because Hawke's siblings seem like they each would have a great story of their own!

Like the summer heat in Texas this is one sexy and fun read. Hawke is the oldest son who's watched his father marry woman after woman, and from his standpoint only after his money. Determined to preserve the business his father built and he now runs after his father marries wife number 5 or 6... the God's smile down on him and his plan to take over the business is set in motion by his latest step sibling Amy. Returning home, Hawke finds Amy swimming naked in the pool, she's a ballerina who is recuperating from a two fold injury and has come to Austin to get the best physical therapy she can.
Operating under the assumption no one would be there, she's skinny dipping. When Hawke arrives home and sees this trespasser he verbally accosts her and is a total a@@ to her. He calms when he sees her injury but he's still angry at his father for remarrying yet again and is still concocting a scheme to take over the business.
Amy, not feeling welcome after his unholy reception, tells him she'll leave. He then overhears her on the phone talking to someone who needs money and by golly he's got his plan. His mother's will states he has to marry and stay married for 24 months to inherit her shares of the business. Mind you he's not doing this out of greed, he's doing it to protect the family assets and finish putting his other step siblings through college.
These two might be like oil and water. Amy gives as good as she gets, but the chemistry here is smoking hot. Candace really steamed this story up. After some consideration, they marry and no one knows it's a business deal as Hawke puts it. But the feelings develop and well...... Hawke is hot, a little gruff but the man has a sweet spot for his ballerina. Amy is just awesome, on her own since she was 14 she takes no crap from anyone, especially him. She's a scraper. I loved her. The story flows along nicely until the bottom drops out and well damn.... I thought what just happened? What kind of fool??? Read the book. It's a keeper.
Great story Candace, it was perfect!!
