while the third in a series of three, the book stood on its own. There were mentions of characters from earlier books in the series, but that didn't detract one bit. Flynn wanted a family so badly she kept looking in all the wrong places. Finally lawyer turned glassblower won her heart. A.most satisfying read

This was an enjoyable read. The story and characters were really strong. The story was slow in the beginning, and then got better as the story continued. Also, I really liked how the author developed her characters. They felt more authentic and relatable. It was a sweet romance. I thought Flynn was cute, while Ford was sexy. They had great chemistry together. I thought the ending was great. This can be read as a series, or a standalone. I can’t wait to read more of this series. Overall, a great read.
Nancy Naigle is one of my go-to authors for sweet, southern romance. Her stories are always heartfelt and fun to read.
Flynn Crane ran her grandparents B&B in North Carolina. She had been laid off from her high powered job and had taken over the operations of the B&B. She was in the midst of renovating the place when her handyman/boyfriend left. Actually, she asked him to leave and now she was left with a lot of unfinished projects preventing her from opening for guests. She was running out of money and time to get the place back in order.
Ford had come to North Carolina to visit his friends, Jackson and Angie, and to do some guest workshops at the PRIZM Art Institute. Ford was a master glassblower and was in town to teach others. He had another reason for coming back. He wanted to see Flynn again. He had met her at Jackson and Angie's wedding and he had felt a spark. But, he lived in Alaska and she lived in North Carolina. Even if they both felt the spark, would they be able to bridge the distance or would it keep them apart forever?
This was a beautifully told story about deciding what is most important and making compromise to find your happy ever after. I loved the way Flynn and Ford worked things out. There was no overt drama, only love shining through.
This was a mostly clean story. There were no descriptive sex scenes because they happened behind closed doors.
I was given an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This was a don't want to put it down book. It was fantastic.I highly recommend this title you will be so glad you red it. I did not read the previous books in this series (but I will be) and did not feel like I was missing a thing.
After being let go from her demanding job, Flynn has taken over her grandparents Bed and breakfast so thy can travel.
Ford is a up and coming artist who met Ford at a wedding the previous year and could not get her out of his head. so when he had a chance to teach glass blowing at a local college he took it. .Not only is it hot from all that glass making but Ford and Flynn heat up the pages.
Thank you netgalley and Montlake Romance for allowing me to read this title for an honest review.
Until Tomorrow is the third book in the Boot Creek series, but you do not have to read the previous two to enjoy this sweet, romantic story. I enjoyed the fact that there was no graphic sex scenes and very few mild curses so this could be read by older teens.
Flynn has been laid off from her job and purchased her Grandparent's B&B. They have headed off to Florida to find a place to live. She had a romantic interest in her live-in handyman who seemed more interested in tearing the place apart rather than putting it back together. That relationship has ended and she is rethinking her life without a man in it. Enter Ford. He and Flynn met the previous summer at a wedding of mutual friends and he cannot stop thinking about her. He is a well-known and sought after glass blower, who just happens to live in Alaska. When he is invited to come and teach at the school near Boot Creek, North Carolina, he jumps at the chance to reconnect with Flynn. With the help of friends, they get together and the feelings begin to develop. They develop a friendly relationship before they begin to deal with a sexual one, which I loved. Can Ford convince Flynn to give up her dream of running the family B&B and move with him to Alaska? Can Flynn convince Ford that he can do his work anywhere and to remain in North Carolina?
I love seeing the characters develop. Flynn changes from a "poor me" character into one you are rooting for. Ford was a serious, caring, good person who was sexy in the way he treated others. I loved learning about Ford's glassblowing, the process and his artistic pieces. The glimpses of life in a small town in Alaska were also very interesting. The book did end with some questions left unanswered, but maybe there will be another book down the road where the ends are tied up. The story starts slowly, but moves quickly once you get partway into the story. I read this one in a day and now want to go back and revisit Boot Creek by reading the rest of the series. If you like a nice, sweet romance then pick this book up along with the rest of the Book Creek Series.
A very good book. I enjoyed it, read it in a night the writing was good and the story kept my attn.
i loved this book, it was enjoyable and I could not put it down. It is a perfect lesson on how life can be so unexpected. This is the first book I have read by Nancy Naigle and I do plan to read more.
A nice but predictable love story. I enjoyed reading this book but it didn't turn out to be the memorable story I'd hoped.
This is a super sweet romance in a gorgeous setting with lovable characters and a heart warming love story. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more by this author.
This is the third book in the series and I read the second book which I really enjoyed. I knew the characters in this book Ford came in from Alaska for the wedding in the last book and he is also an artist (glassblower) he has become very famous. Now he is coming back to Boot Creek to work at as an artist at a local art school to teach glassblowing. Flynn has taken over her grandparents B&B and is having a problem with it at the time he arrives. She has also gotten out of a relationship and is not really looking to start anything with Ford especially since he lives and works in Alaska. The time they are together is good and he helps her with the repairs on the B&B and they are getting along okay, but something is just missing from this story and I can’t put my finger on it. The last story flowed and had moments of serious, and funny and I just didn’t get that easy feeling this time. Plus her friend from the last book would switch from one paragraph wanting her to take a chance then the next paragraph tell her don’t. It just confused me and did not help the story. Flynn’s grandparents were good and so were the characters in Alaska, but for me it just was missing something sorry.
Yet again Nancy Naigle has written happy - feel good book that just leaves your feeling great and wanting more in the end. Characters that are relatable to real life and leaves you wishing they were your friend that lives around the corner from you. I'd like to move to Boot Creek, NC !!
This was a lovely romance story. Great for a beach read or just to escape for a while. I love the dichotomy of the 2 locations in the story and how Flynn needs to recognize the call of her heart over her head. Of course, I'm a bit partial to books set in Alaska as I've called the state home for over 7 years.
This book started off very slow for me. Didnt pick up much pace which is why it was marked down. Had expected so much more, but it didnt live up to its description
This is a nice cute rom-com that is the third book in the series. One of the things I have always liked about Nancy Naigles writing is that she tells real stories about real people who you be me or someone I know. What I loved about this story is that not only are Flynn and Ford real people, but the end is somehwat open ended (but it still has a satisfying ending) to leave me to imagine how their lives progress... at least until another book in the series comes out. This is a nice summer read that isn't light in substance but light enough to keep your attention through the end.
Flynn Crane is a wonderfully independent, capable, accomplished, smart young woman. An open and trusting soul, she has a lousy track record with men. After being laid off from her corporate job in Charlotte, NC she returns home to the comforting rhythm and her small town roots in Boot Creek. Taking over the running of her grandparents Bed & Breakfast came along at just the right time, but is it her dream? As she ends her latest bad romance she is left with a B&B in shambles, a dwindling bank account, wondering where all the decent men are, and swearing off dating. Through mutual friends Flynn is reintroduced to Ford Morton, a renown glassblowing artist teaching at the local art institute for a month. Ford has left his home in Alaska, with a keen remembrance for Flynn, and dreams of his own of opening a studio in Alaska and a special person to share it all with. They enter 'the friend zone' the only space Flynn will allow herself to consider spending time with any man. As they spend time together, it becomes increasingly clear things may become very complicated. Can they reconcile his dreams, does she even know what her dreams are, and make things work with so much distance between them?
Romance is not my usual genre. To peak my interest, to keep me reading, to make me care about the characters, to make genre lovers happy and being new ones in...that is a fine line. It is one Nancy Naigle does exceptionally well with her latest contemporary romance, Until Tomorrow. I was charmed, and taken away by the characters and locations. I throughly enjoyed this and highly recommend it both for lovers of romance novels and those that are not traditionally readers of the genre.
I received a copy of this book from Montlake Romance through Netgalley. This review reflects my honest opinion.
A lovely sweet read, refreshingly without bad language and yet, still a brilliant story with well rounded characters and a beautiful story. Will definitely read more from this author.
I'm a sucker for small town romances. There's just something about them, the community, the way everyone supports each other, that I really enjoy. Although this is the third book in a series, it works perfectly well as a stand-alone. Couples from previous books show up because this couple is friends with them, but you don't have to know the other books to enjoy this. This was a really nice, drama-free, second-chance small-town romance. It was a quick and easy read.
Flynn and Ford met at their friends' wedding a year ago, but nothing happened then. Now, Ford has agreed to share his knowledge about glassblowing with a local art school and hopes to reconnect with the woman he keeps thinking about. Flynn, meanwhile, has moved to Boot Creek, North Carolina, to take over her grandparent's B&B. After yet another failed relationship she has sworn off men and decided to focus all her energy on the B&B. She tries not to become too attached to the handsome, laid-back, and sweet Ford who lives all the way in Alaska. Caught between responsibilities and the chance at happily ever after, Flynn has to decide what really matters to her...
Ford really reminded me of Josh Lucas's character from Sweet Home Alabama. Gorgeous smile, southern accent, laid-back, works with glass... That's where the similarities to the movie end though ^^ I really liked him.
The only real issue I had was with the pacing. For me, the "I love you"s just came way too fast. Given that Flynn is on a self-imposed relationship hiatus because of her tendency to fall too hard too fast, I thought it wasn't very logical that she would just go on a trip to Alaska with Ford, see his house (completed nursery included...), hear how he never wants to let go of her and NOT freak out. I would've. And I wouldn't have blamed her (did I mention the fully functional nursery that was just waiting for the three babies he just had to have?) for running away. But hey. That's just me.
All in all, this was a nice read, and I think I might be revisiting Boot Creek in the future.
A light, positive romance with some interesting characters and a small town setting. Ford and Flynn are going to get together and you'll enjoy their journey. I've always been fascinated with glass blowing so that was an added bonus for me. I also appreciated that there was no explicit sex. Nicely written and perfect for a relaxing read. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.
