For some reason this book bored me. I felt like I should have really liked it was the Jaguars and Wolves learn to work together in a dedicated way to go after those that break the laws within their society. It was fun to see them all work together, to see how different they are, yet the same. The core group seemed to gel really well together, soon teasing each other like they had known each other forever. I also really like how JAG seems to take the "screw ups" not discounting them, but turning their skills useful.
The romance between Jillian and Vaughn was luke warm for me. At first it seemed like they were trying to one up each other with their investigative skills, I didn't see any attraction. Later you could, but it seemed forced. The one funny spot was learning that Jillian's father was a trainer when Vaughn was going through SEAL training.

Werewolves combined with strong chemistry equals fun reading!
This is the latest in a long line of books in this series. I can't believe I've never read one of these before- I'm a sucker for a good werewolf story! There is a well-developed world built here and characters who sizzle.

Mystery and intrigue to the extreme! The premise of what's behind the attack of their friend Douglas, Jillian and Vaughn along with other shifters seek to uncover he truth. Very intense book!

Jillian Matthews has been tasked to work with a specialist unit, manned by newly revealed Jaguar shifters. On the way to meet them she decided to drop in on her brother who is staying nearby. But when she arrives she finds his friend almost dead. She manages to get him to safety with a nearby pack and awaits another new recruit to the team.
Vaughn Greystoke planned on dropping in on his friend and another wolf on his way to a meeting with a possible new team. But when he arrives he sees a wolf, muzzle covered in blood, blood which smells of his friend. But the wolf runs and he has no option but to follow. He didn't figure on shots being fired at him by an accomplice though! When he later finds out that the shooter is his new partner and the wolf was her brother? Well life just got a whole lot more interesting!
Jillian and Vaughn sparkle! Their chemistry is instant and can be seen by all their team mates.
I loves knowing that they were interested in each other at the Kitty Kat club but neither acted on, being with dates at the time. But this time there are no impediments. The team dynamics were great, considering they were different species, and I loved the camaraderie they shared, even the teasing of the circling potential mates.
Great mix of action/adventure, passion and with a treasure hunting sidestory and a femme fatale who just makes your mind spin!!!!

This book is another fantastic story from Terry Spear. I've loved all of this author's books and this one was as captivating as the very first one I read. It caught my attention at the beginning and I had no trouble staying engaged until the end.
I always loved the vivid characters and the great adventures these stories in the Heart Of The Wolf / Heart Of The Jaguar Series. This plot had a mixture of both when two wolves, Vaughn Greystoke and Jillian Matthews, join the United Shifters Force to track down some shady Jaguars who are up to no good. I had a few laughs as Vaughn and Jillian had some differences of opinion at first. They spent some time arguing because Vaughn suspected that her brother was involved in an attack against his friend. Even then they couldn't resist the temptation of when a shifter finds his mate. Anyway you cut it this book was loaded with action, adventure and steamy romance.
As usual, I loved this book. It was a great read that I didn't want to put down. Whenever I want to get lost in a shifter romance I always pick up one of my Terry Spear books. She's always a favorite for me. I highly recommend this book, and all of her series, really, to everyone.

In A Very Jaguar Christmas, I first met Everett and Demetria. There, the jaguar shifters found out that they were not the only kind of shapeshifters. That was a bit of a shocker (LOL). Wolf shifters were among them. And in SEAL Wolf Undercover, we encounter Everett and Demetria again, if they team up with Jillian Matthews, a wolf shifter.
Jillian has sought the help of Everett and Demetria, because of the fact that her brother goes AWOL while his friend has been attacked and almost brutally murdered. Since Miles' prints were all over Douglas, he is the prime suspect. But Jillian is sure that Miles is innocent. When some wolf is trying to catch her brother and potentially harm him, she doesn't hesitate, but shoots him.
Vaughn is a wolf shifter PI, used to work alone. When he finds a shifter wolf on a crime scene, covered in blood, he goes after him. Surprisingly, he gets shot by a female wolf during his chase.
And the bigger surprise is that this female is no other than the special agent Jillian, who he is supposed to work with. But with her relationship to his suspect, their working together isn't going over smoothly. Combined with the fact that they both are having trouble to resist their mutual attraction, the banter and discussion between Jillian and Vaughn is hilarious.
Will they be able to find the attacker and unravel why Miles fled the scene? Is Miles one of the bad guys, or did Jillian rightfully defend her brother? And can Everett and Demetria help with the catty smell all over the place?
A funny, light read with some old friends and some new shifters. In all a great story. So four out of five stars from me. And a thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Very enjoyable! Though little confused where this is placed, as in A Very Jaguar Christmas the pair from that get a call about capturing a Jaguar on Leidolf's property which would make sense in this but I can't remember if the White Wolf boy had a mom and if she was from the earlier book about the White Wolf. Then there's the fact the next book is about White Wolves, a young white wolf boy and Christmas. Always enjoy reading anything by Terry Spear though! Can't wait for the next one about the White Wolves.

Good read, a little bit too much of the insta love for me, I could have gone for a bit more push and pull between the characters and I'm not really sure how I felt about the whole coloring thing!! But overall an enjoyable story.

Another good story from Terry Spear. I like that combination of shifters. Looking forward to more.
