This was so good! I can't wait to read more of this book when it comes out. Literally so enthralling from the very first line. It was reminiscent of columbine but had its own story as well. I really enjoyed this!

Enchanting. so good, Im shaking and i can b not wait to get this full story

At first, I didn't know what to expect from this story. I thought Ms. Loren was steering this tale to a thriller. The beginning was reminiscent of The Luckiest Girl Alive, which was a good story but not my favorite. I appreciated the reintroduction of the high school "sweethearts(?)." You can't call them as much, and I was intrigued by their attraction, but was confounded by the hero's inability to give more to the heroine or the heroine demanding more from the hero. I hope that their "disconnect" is explored in the story. These lead characters seem to deserve love and affection, hopefully, they can give it to each other. Ms. Loren is a superb author/storyteller. I was excited to be given the opportunity to read this sneak peek.

From the sneak peek this book is going to be very visceral. It is well written and due to its content I am honestly on the fence about reading it. It will be a hard book to get through but I kinda can't wait to read it to see how it turns out. I want to see how they "fix" each other and finally gain the happiness they have been denying themselves for so long.

This sampler has me desperately wanting to read The Ones Who Got Away as soon as possible!

The author managed to quickly get me interested in all of the characters and wanting to know more about them and what happened to them all after senior year. Plus, Liv and Finn have amazing chemistry and the kiss mentioned in the blurb was insanely hot.

This is definitely going to be one of my most anticipated releases and I can't wait for the full book!
