Samantha Young is one of my go to authors, I fell in love with her writing when I first read the On Dublin Street series. Harts Boardwalk gives us not only new friends to fall in love with but a new destination, enemies to lovers, friendships and loyalty, trust and romance this book has it all.
This is book 2 in the series but I do believe it can be read as a standalone, that being said if you fall in love with Harts Boardwalk as I did you will want to go back and read book 1 . What's not to love about a small town with great characters living in it.

This was enjoyable and frustrating at the same time. The frustration was part of the storyline with Bailey and Vaughan and it worked with their characters. I liked how they both developed and grew. I liked the Boardwalk and the other characters and am curious to see their stories also. I will definitely read more in this series.

A quick chick read. Quite enjoyable and well written.
