Fast paced suspense with many twists. The characters are developed and the plot is ambitious. Lies She Told is executed perfectly.
Ahhhhhh! This was so fantastic! I was on the edge of my seat, and started to dislike my real life friends that would call and interrupt my time with this book. Tremendous story that had me guessing and full of questions until the end. Five stars!
ARC provided by Net Galley and Crooked Lane Books in exchange for an honest review. Thank you! This was a really great read...initially you have to pay attention, because the narrator and focus switches back and forth between the character in the novel being written by the main character, and the main character's voice. There are so many twists and turns, and then when I thought we had all the answers...yet another twist. I highly recommend this book...
An excellent psychological thriller with many twists and turns. I loved the back and forth between Liza and the character Beth in her novel. It was interesting to see how their lives intertwined and the similarities between the two.
A five star winner from this author. Superb plot, kept me gripped from start to finish. I look forward to reading more by this author in the future.
Two women, bound together by murder, jealousy and ambition. Liza has only one month to write a new thriller if she’s to salvage her career. She hardly expected her own life to be the fodder. Beth, who has recently given birth, believes her husband, Nick is cheating on her and sets out to destroy him and his mistress. Liza’s husband, meanwhile is worried about his missing best friend, Nick. Nick is eventually found – in the Hudson River. And before Liza knows what’s happening, her husband is arrested for the murder. What role did Beth play in all of this? And how far will Liza go to get her name at the top of the best-seller list? This book is a serious mind f&%* that you won’t soon forget
