I love PNR but was wondering would I like this book if she has two men...

This is my first read from this author and what a great job she did of this book. The vampires are traditional, they can't go in sunlight, sleep in the day and can't eat normal food.

Throwing the car into Park, I step free of the pheromone-filled torture chamber and breathe in the cool air.


The story pulled me very quickly and I took to the characthers well, I was rooting for Galen all the way through, I liked Sariel but Reese and Galen were good together.

"Oh f**k," I growl. "You're a bad girl wrapped in an innocent package. That's Cruel."


I like a vampire love story, this book has a twist in the tradition vampire meets girl and falls in love and a selection of other paranormal beings - no spoilers here!

I thought this was a great read and will be looking up more books from this author.

I can't remember the last time I gave up on a book this early on, but Holy Hell, that was awful...
I'm aware that this is supposed to be Erotica, but is it really too much to ask for a little subtlety, some build-up and tension? In the first chapter alone, Galen mentions his cock/dick/crotch/erection more often than I ever wanted to read about it.

I'm obviously the odd one out with my opinion, as everyone one else seems to have loved this book. So I'll just give you a little piece of advice: make sure to read the sample before purchasing this - if you're into: good for you. If you're not: you're welcome.

Being no stranger to the paranormal genre, i was excited to discover a new author who not only decided to step out from their habitual genre, but also deliver a story that surprises me. Out of curiosity when i landed on Kim Loraine's Waking The Watcher, i looked over the cover and honestly thought it was a menage and maybe a shifter themed story only to be wrong about my assumptions. Usually i don't make conclusions based on a cover, but this was the first time that i had read a novel written by Kim Loraine and hadn't heard from before either (what i know now is from my own searches after receiving this book).

All things considering, i was impressed and surprised by this story. I wasn't expecting a story about a man hiding something inside of himself and a woman who so innocent that she speaks out to him in ways he never expected. Waking The Watcher was a strong beginning to a new series that has me curious to know more about this author and wanting to find out we'll hear and know more about Sariel and Galen in the future.

Walking the Watcher by Kim Loraine.......I loved this book!! This is not my genre, I did not know what to expect, but I was hooked on from the beginning to the end. The story was amazing hot, sexy and so much chemistry. I can't wait to read more by this amazing author. I highly recommend this book. Wow, I admit this read surprised me. I was hooked from beginning to end, the intensity is amazing. This paranormal romance is fast paced with tons of drama and suspense. The characters are complex with steamy chemistry. I loved it!

Kim Loraine has done it again! A true masterpiece of fiction. I was so excited to finally get to read my advanced copy that I couldn't put it down once I started. She puts so much emotion and substance into the characters that they seem to leap off the page.
Galen is intense and broody. A true alpha vampire. Reese is a strong female character with plenty of challenges to overcome.
I absolutely loved this new and interesting twist on vampires and angels. I could never be so imaginative. I can't wait for more from this series. It will be one not to missed!! 5 stars!

It was ok. Confusing at times and very twisted. It is hard to review because it will give away everything. It is orginal and very different then what I read before. The end had that way to easy ending. I liked the friend more than the hero.

You will seriously fall head over heels in love with Galen, Reese, Devin and Sariel. You'll be enamored with the events, twists and sacrifices that are given for those they love. And you'll find a few new book boyfriends in the mix!!! Swoon!!! Sexy sexy sexy...... LOL LOL

Trust me, if you are a PNR fan- you will want to grab this book!!!! It's so good. I can't stress enough how much I recommend this book!

This was a DNF at 25%. Neither Main character was working for me. She wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed and he was horrid.

This book is quite captivating from the first chapter. The characters are believable, vulnerable and engaging. I really enjoyed the pace of the story though there seemed to be large time gaps in the story. The only concerning thing was how neatly everything wrapped up after the climax. I am eager for the next book in this series.

An interesting blend or twist on the standard genre.
The plot takes surprising turns and keeps us turning pages.

For me, it was mildly disappointing that the final few pages
wrapped things up so quickly -- only to discover that there
is a 'Book 2' continuation. The plot resolved too quickly, too
neatly, with an excess of "to be continued" flavor.

This is the first book I have read by Kim Loraine, and I really loved it!
The storyline was great, and the steam this book had was off the WALLS. Looking forward to reading more from the series.

While the plot idea was unique (vampires and reincarnated angels cast out of heaven) the execution was poorly done. The characters felt one dimensional and the sex scenes read like angsty adolescents getting it on like rabbits. To prop up the characters (I'm guessing here folks) there was hyped up drama that felt exactly like that, hyped, which made for irritating reading.

I liked it! I have never heard of this author before and took a chance. I enjoyed the read and I liked Devin and Galan. These characters are strong. I didn't like how she would run and never give Galan time to explain. This is a good story line. Is doesn't feel rushed and There is enough back-story to keep you engaged and wanting more!! There has to be more Devin in this series. Will read definitely!

Wow. This one was not what I was expecting but actually turned out very well. The story was interesting and captivating. The unique characters made this a very different type of read for me. I've enjoyed reading Waking the Watcher by Kim Loraine. It's the first book I've read by this author and I'm looking forward to reading the upcoming books in this series.
