What a brilliant story to indulge yourself in! Take a billionaire who is used to his life running smoothly, have an ex show up with his ten year old child and have his executive assistant, Chelsea Houston, trying to hand in her notice! Nothing seems to be going right for the usually super controlling Aiden Kelley! He has no idea how to relate to his daughter, the existence of whom he was previously unaware, but he does want to get to know her. He decides to go on a road trip . . . . but he insists that Chelsea has to come along to help him with the promise that the fortnight will serve as her notice so she can then leave. Doesn’t sound too bad until you factor in that Chelsea has had a crush on for years and two weeks in such close, intimate contact may prove tempting beyond human resistance! As Aiden’s usually orderly life becomes chaotic he starts to think of new possibilities, new relationships and a different focus for his life, as he discovers fun can’t always be planned for!
This is a delightful, engaging story with great character and romance development. It is a roller coaster ride with so many switchbacks you have to be worried about staying safely on track to the end. Aiden blows hot and cold, whilst his daughter provides some great humorous moments and acts as a catalyst to help bring Aiden and Chelsea together. It is a fun read and great to escape into with a well written mix of fun, steam, drama and emotional turmoil!
I requested and was gifted a copy of this book via NetGalley and this is my honest opinion after choosing to read it.
Final Score - 4 Stars!
This is the first book I have read by this author and I have to say - I enjoyed it. What I didn't realize when I signed up to read/review this book was that it's part of a series. In any case, I will have to go back and read the first book of this series.
I understand the nuances of OCD disorder (as I myself suffer from them) and this book perfectly portrayed the complexities of the condition. I do have to admit that it was fun to watch Aiden's carefully constructed and controlled life change on a dime - not that he had any say over the matter mind you. But it was beautiful to watch him as he fell in love with his daughter (who wouldn't) ... and then Chelsea as well.
Waverly ... I absolutely adore this little girl! She provided the story with some moments of wit, humor and typically ten year old thinking - you know the one ... those on the cusp of turning from child to teenager.
I cannot wait to read further book by this author. I genuinely enjoyed her writing style.
I loved this story. I's heartwarming, sweet, and fun. Very well written with some incredible characters that will grab your heart.
Aiden was so sweet and caring with Waverly even though his nicely organized and carefully construction life was whirling out of control. He's just found out he has a ten year old daughter and has no idea what to do with her. He wants to get to know her and be a part of his life so he recruits his long time personal assistant Chelsea to help him. After one hilarious road trip he finds himself loving this newly formed family unit and doesn't want to see it end.
Definitely a book I recommend to everyone.
The Irish Prince takes the reader on an emotional journey with both the romance and the relationship between Aiden and his daughter.
Aiden is unsure of himself as a parent and it has thrown him for loop. He has worked his whole life to be in complete control of every situation and when he struggles with that control he has Chelsea to help him. She is the one person he can count on in any situation, but Chelsea is tired of being his executive assistant. She wants more than finding random women's underwear in her office and having to field calls and visits from those same women when they are inevitably pushed aside. This trip to the Grand Canyon with Waverly is the end of her working relationship with Aiden. She is done! Only Aiden isn't ready to let her go and her wanting to leave him is making him see Chelsea in a new light.
The relationship between Aiden and Chelsea develops quickly once there is a timer on her leaving his employment. They both find themselves wondering "what if" and wanting to explore the chemistry between them. I liked that although they had worked very closely to each other for years, that Aiden and Chelsea had never taken their relationship in another direction. That it was professional between them and stayed that way until the trip to the Grand Canyon.
I also loved the humor of Chelsea and the awkwardness of Aiden as he explores his feelings for Chelsea and at becoming a parent to Waverly. It is the perfect balance.
How I Rate This Book:
I give The Irish Prince a 4/5
3.5 Stars A sweet hallmark type romance between Aiden a billionaire CEO and Chelsea, his fed up PA. Chelsea had put up with Aiden's playboy ways and controlling behavior for years. She is ready to walk away. She has low self esteem and doesn't see a way they could be more even if she could get him to notice her. When a unexpected surprise happens and Aiden turn to Chelsea for help fate gives them their chance. The heat level is about a 3.

The Irish Prince by Virginia Nelson is Book 2 of the Billionaire Dynasties Series.
What a fab read! Nicely-paced, this story has entertaining and engaging characters that really bring together the storyline, and you just can’t help but get pulled into this fun read. Well done Ms. Nelson!

A love story about a boss and his assistant, that's the best way to sum this story up. I did enjoy the story but it wasn't my favorite. The characters were nice and it was a quick and easy read.
Aiden and Chelsea aren't the typical boss and employee. She is very blunt with him and never kisses up. They have a very good working relationship, until an unplanned trip with his daughter changes things. The girl, Waverley, is a great go-between and seems to be smarter than her father. There is that saying that actors shouldn't work with kids or animals because they will he overshadowed, it's true. Waverley makes every page she's on special and innocent. You could actually feel the bond between the three. If you read Penthouse Prince, you will recognize Jeanie and Camden as they make an appearance with an update. It's not necessary to read the books in order, each is a standalone. I received an advanced copy through Netgalley.
Aiden Kelley’s life is turned upside down when he discovers a fling from 10 years ago had his baby. He is an uber success driven CEO with an amazing secretary, Chelsea, that is just as devoted to the companies success.
Chelsea has been crushing on her boss, it seems like forever. She has decided to give her 2 weeks and make a clean break just when her boss, Aiden, asks her to come along on a “family” trip to the Grand Canyon with his new found teen daughter. Chelsea immediately connects to Aiden’s daughter even though she’s never really been around children.
Chelsea seems to be exactly what Aiden needs to get through this difficult adjustment. But Aiden will do whatever it takes to be around his daughter, no matter the cost.
What a sweet and endearing story! The Irish Prince should become a Hallmark movie. It just had that feel good vibe with the perfect amount of emotional moments and strong character connection that pulls you right into the story-telling. Although the steamin' scenes are sure to get the show band to cable.

Such a sweet romance... The Irish prince gets the shock of his life and keeps on swinging... I really enjoyed this cuz I felt felt like I could laugh and cry and scream with the characters...
I love the attitude and personality we see from Chelsea right from the start. Aiden is a handsome, powerful man who gets thrown a curve ball. Their interactions and relationship was wonderfully written by Ms. Nelson.
The Irish Prince
I liked this book. It was a real good, feel good read. I really enjoyed the characters Aiden and Chelsea. They had a strong connection and wonderful chemistry. Their story was something of a Hallmark story with a little X rated. Aiden is a control freak, which in the description of the things he does he seems Autistic. With that being said Chelsea is he ground. His center. When he starts having meltdowns Chelsea’s touch and voice soothes him. The story is sweet and touching. This is a wonderful read. I highly recommend this book. Happy reading!
I thought this would be a charming, heartwarming story but alas, no such luck. I was annoyed with him, and her character seemed like a whiner.
3 stars.
Chelsea Houston is fed up with her boss. She is done with is womanizing ways. She turns in her two-week notice, because even though she is done she cares too much. She has held a secret crush for him for years but knows that she isn't his type.
Aiden Hamilton's playboy ways are about to be put to an abrupt halt, when he finds out he has a daughter. Missing out on years of her life he decides that he needs to bond with her. Yet his daughter has started to bond with his assistant Chelsea. So he decides to schedule a trip and take both of them. But will he be able to handle this trip with it's chaos? He is so use to schedules, precision, and his assistant taking care of him.
I loved the strawberry lemonade scene. The go with the flow attitude of Chelsea. She seemed to be the ying to his yang. The build of passion between these two is cruel. I really enjoyed this book, the build, the storyline, the strength of the plot, the depth of the characters. But I felt that the story ended abruptly and Aiden got off way to easy.....
This was a fun, quick read with plenty of sass with an Irish twist to it. Aiden aka The Irish Prince is a driven, neurotic (and extremely dependent on his assistant Chelsea) businessman. Frankly Aiden is a pain in the fanny. Chelsea even though she's under contract with Aiden, threatens yet again to quit and this time she means it. She's had enough of Aiden's pushy, domineering ways and lack of gratitude. She's crushed on Aiden for a long time but she's over it. The woman wears an earpiece in her ear so Aiden has complete access to her, even after work hours. This goes beyond ridiculous.
I loved Chelsea, she took no nonsense from Aiden and called him out on his trivial crap. She was also his anchor and he knew it.
A wrench gets thrown in the works of both their lives when a woman from his past shows up with his child. His 10 year old daughter. Yep. Mom thinks that daughter Waverley needs to get to know Dad and of course Mom wants money. While Mom is in talking to Aiden, Waverley and Chelsea are quick to bond. Waverley is a rock hound and wants to be a geologist and just so happens Chelsea likes rocks too. When it's decided that Aiden will take Waverley on a trip to the Grand Canyon, someplace Wave has always wanted to see, he coerces Chelsea to come along with promises to let her out of her contract when they return and even give her a bonus, etc.. empty, empty promises.
Waverley and Chelsea made the story. The road trip to the Grand Canyon was hysterical and it was fun watching them interact. While there, things heat up between Chelsea and Aiden. There's some serious steam going on there. When something happens on the trip, Aiden far surpasses the winning ticket for being a jackhat, he shuts down Chelsea totally and Chelsea quits. During this time in the story there are some priceless moments Virginia has written you just have to read yourself. Was great seeing Cam again too. It's tough for Chelsea too, she's really got a soft spot for Wave and Wave for her.
Aiden is a class A fool and it takes a 10 year old to pretty much wake him up, or at least bring him into the here and now. Waverley scores again! You have to read the book to get the details and the rest of the story... I only hit a few highlights. I wanted to throat punch Aiden and I've never read anyone who could write a decent neurotic male the way Virginia did. She really wrote a great story here and it's so worth the read! I loved it.
Great story Virginia!!

What a wonderful book! I was completely engaged by Aiden and Chelsea's story and loved how it unfolded. Chelsea has a bit of a crush on her boss, Aiden, a control freak billionaire. She's never let him know about it or acted on it in any way. However, circumstances create an arena where she feels safe to kiss him, then to have him respond and sweep her off to bed.
What good would a romance be without a bit of angst? When the terrible thing happens, Aiden turns cold and totally shuts her out. He's turned so cold that Cheslea is even sure if she can continue working for him.
I loved the push/pull of this novel. Yes, it's a bit predictable, however, the author told the tale in such a delightful way that I just didn't care....she made me feel immersed in the story and enjoying every page of the characters' journey.
Fans of the genre will love this book. It's the first book I've read by this author, but it w
I'd give this about 3 1/2 stars. I did enjoy it better than it's predecessor that I picked up just bc I received this one to review. Honestly it felt like I had read this before, or perhaps saw the Lifetime movie, it was fun though and Chelsea and Aiden had palpable chemistry through some moments. I will say his control freak tendencies didn't bother me, perhaps I'm the same a bit but there were times I wanted to shake the man. All in all it's a sweet little assistant to the billionaire romance and it worked well. It's a relatively quick read with little to no angst so if you want a light heated romance give this a go.
This was a complimentary advanced reader copy from the author/publisher given freely in exchange for a honest review via netgalley.
I totally expected Aiden to be some uppity billionaire or something. He is so normal though, has the same hangups as everyone else can. Chelsea seems to know when he's having a problem before he even knows it. That's just how well she knows him. Made for a sweet romance.
