Annuals are like big one-shots. They’re entertaining and set up new storylines. That’s about all you can expect from this one.

A decent set-up for this single-story annual sees half the Titans and half the JLA crumped up together, with someone trying to get them to fight. Unfortunately, set-up is all it is – it both stops suddenly and leaves an open ending. Plus, of course, you get the feeling that the characters are fighting, not only because someone wants them to, but because that's all the author knows how to get them to do. Not bad, but not essential.
